comfortable room, nice breakfast
On Sunday, the lines at the buffet were very long. The man who was making the omelets and waffles was doing his best to make everyone happy. He could have used someone to help him. It took 20 minutes to get an omelet, and then I had to go back 10 minutes later for a waffle.
layout of rooms, breakfast included
breakfast choices, hotel appearance - looks like it's under construction/half done
Unfortunately, our experience in the bar was less than pleasant. A drunken patron and "unique" staff but a damper on our stay.
had to go to the front desk to check out very poor service at the Grill inside the Hotel. seemed to be only two working at any given time for such a large room and patio
The hotel was trashy inside. The rooms are really nice if you get a updated room which costs 10$. Staff was very nice. Had a great stay
Shower broken. Sink plug broken. Telephone broken. Pool needed vacuuming.
Good room size Nice breakfast choice Friendly staff Room safe provided Clean and tidy
My small pet was able to join us.
Need an outside area for pets to do their business.
I liked the fact that it was clean and the breakfast buffet was good.
The decor is still stuck in the 1980's with sponge painted walls and blonde furniture. It didnt have a shower curtain and the toilet didnt work very well. The tv wasn't HD and the channels were only basic. Everywhere at the buffet including your table was signage to remind you to leave a tip. It felt just awkward and sad. Checking out their computer wasnt up yet so they were going to have to e-mail my receipt. It hasn't come yet. The whole place just felt sad.
Layout of hotel with interior atrium, security, buffet breakfast with all-you-can-eat bacon cooked to perfection, all rooms are bedroom-living room suites with fridge, two flat-screen TVs, excellent beds, quiet, writing desks, and some with panoramic views of the Catalina Mountains. Staff is very friendly and take care of problems immediately, facilities include a well-maintained pool and jacuzzi, laundry room and a small fitness center with treadmills and a dated weights machine (more serious gym-goers can get passes at a nearby gym). All in all we had an excellent stay at this hotel, and will definitely stay there next time in Tucson.
Wi-fi was slow in the bedroom, but was ok in the living-room part.
I have stayed in this hotel before. And it is always a good experience to come back.
Space in room, ac, and big buffet breakfast was a plus.
Rooms are outdated with big old tvs, wall decor.. beds were uncomfortable. .paid for room with pullout couch in which it had couch but not pullout.
Beds were really comfortable. Nice to have separate sitting room. Quiet room. Great breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
Bathroom floor around tub. Needed attention but rest of bathroom was great
Sheets in room were never changed. Trash was picked up 2 times in 7 days.
The ambience was great. I loved the size of the suite, as well as it's appointments. Breakfast was very well done. Keurig coffee makers in the rooms with good choices. No complaints here at all. Just about perfect.
Old bathrooms, clogged sinks, dirty bed skirts..
Great location - superb breakfasts, nice roomy suites, very quiet. Wilbur's grill served a better variety than I expected, so ate in most nights.
internet could be a little faster in this day and age, although acceptable.
place was very dirty and smelled musty could not find towel at the pool the pool was too cold to use
The beds are excellent.
The wifi was very slow.
Stacy at front desk and Rachel from Wilbur's are wonderful and friendly employees who go out of their way to help guests
We had constant trouble with the key cards on the outside doors and the elevator. Elevator especially had to go back and forth between elevators with card even though they were on 1st floor and they flushed green
Great location. Free breakfast was good and complete. Staff was very kind and helpfull. We arrived in the night and it was pleasant to know there was a guard in the parking lot.
I don´t know if all hotel rooms are in the same condition. The one we got was in the 2nd floor and it needs urgent remodel. Furniture was very old. Beds were not confortable and again, they looked and felt old. The room was clean, but there are some things that since they are old, they aren´t clean...like the carpet. I traveled with 2 kids and kids like to play in the floor. Having dirty floors or carpet is anoying. Free wifi was too slow. Air conditioner vents were dirty. I din´t enjoy my last stay in this hotel.
Front desk quickly changed us to another room and the Head of Housekeeping did an outstanding job of making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of.
Checked in a 3:30pm and Front Desk sent us up to our room which was not yet cleaned.
Staff was nice. Breakfast was good.
Building is somewhat shabby and needs a make over. Housekeeping did not arrive to clean room until 5:00 p.m. one day.
over all it is a very nice place, would visit again!
gift shop wasn't open you had to wait for some one to come and let you in.
I always stay at the Viscount when I'm in Tucson visiting family. The location is perfect, staff helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable.
