Sheets had holes, no hand/body lotion in room, breakfast food wasn't hot and the server needed help/understaffed

I liked the free hot breakfast with stay. I was expecting things like oatmeal and pancakes in hot trays, but everything was fresh and great. The bar was also fun with the black jack tables and music selection. We also requested to book our room for another night and were helped to do so swiftly.

I would have greatly appreciated a fan in our bathroom. The hallways were really cold though it may have been because of the weather. I was surprised that there was only one key for our room...what if we were to lose it...?

The lobby is dirty. Whole place needs updating.

Very misleading advertisement. It was disgusting- very uncomfortable dirty rooms, hall and disgusting food service. Very disappointed with our stay there.

It was in an excellent location next to the Interstate that is connected to a majority of the main areas in Fargo. The cleanliness was great as well.

The complimentary breakfast is a joke. It has no options and they serve you the smallest glass of powdered orange juice I have ever seen. The pool is the opposite of heated and the bathrooms in the pool area were air conditioned; and the floors in the pool bathrooms were filthy. People take there barefoot children into those bathrooms.

on your site it looked like I was getting a nice hotel. When we pulled in it was a runned down, attached to a small casino with smoking, which nothing was said on the website about this, and the rooms seemed like a place that was rented by the hour. It was a dump!!!! We were suppose to stay two nights but decided to stay only one. They charged us for both nights. The guy at the front said he had to even though no one was at the hotel.

When we got in our room the toilet didn't flush and the room was cold. We were moved to a different room. There were stains on the wall that looked like blood. It was nice to have breakfast the next day but staff was short and ended up waiting 50 min for food.

The guy that checked us in seemed really frustrated that he had to help me check in. I registered online and accidently chose 2 people staying instead of the 3 that did. I suppose I went through the site quickly because it was a last minute decision to spend the night, I think I made the reservations at noon or so and we arrived at 8 pm with a 3 hour drive to get there. When I checked in I brought my wife and daughter in with me so I wasn't trying to get away with anything, I dont really appreciate being made to feel like a thief. We allowed 15 minutes for breakfast, big mistake, it took that long to get juice and coffee. A buffet situation was what we expected not the restrained service we got. There was hair in my bed and a weird bug in the bathroom. My daughter wrapped herself in a blanket we had in our car so she didnt have to touch the sheets. I would expect much cleaner bedding. That being said I would still stay here, hoping that next time would be better. I would recommend with caution.

The price is right,it's close to the bowler . Bowling is what we come to the Fargo area for .

We do the bowling tournment at the Bowler every year, and say at Vista Inn every year, and it is the best. Great location along with always have a great time in the bar, and rooms are always wonderful.

Only thing I would like to see, is to have a bowler special rate. Like maybe 5 dollars off a nite if you are bowling the tournment. Mainly because I bring 15 to 20 people every year.

Good selection and quality of food at breakfast. Bar was good with good value for drinks. Pool and hot tub were fine.

Rooms and grounds need upgrading. Room very small for a king-size bed. Would consider staying there again if rooms were upgraded considerably.

The pictures on the booking site really don't do it justice. It was very dated and didn't look anything like it. It was very dated and when we got into the room it had an odor that I couldn't tell what it was. When we handed in our key nothing was said, like thank you or have a good day. It was very hard to find....took us almost an hour..... I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Our room was small for two queen beds. Entered room with heat on and 85 degress, thermostat did not work, there was one full glass window situated on hallway wall near door that did not open. Tried the cooling unit which only made it worse. After shutting everything off it remained 80 derees until leaving. Room was clean, towels thins and small. TV had no directions or guide, could only access 4 channels. Arrived at continental breakfast to find everything empty, jno coffee or juice, line of 10 people waiting and more coming in as we went to the front desk to inquire.After waiting 10 more minutes and the room filling we left to eat at cafe across the road.

I'm sorry but we have nothing good to say so we are not going to say any more bad things about the Vista Inn.

We did not like that the room was to hot we could not a fan other than a heater that had a fan to cool the room down with. It was to noisy an did not help. The worst part was that staff for the breakfast was very poor. We had waited for 45 min an still were not able to get some freaking eggs and bacon and toast. That is just stupid!!!! Also why would only one person help 10 tabels with only 3 days of experience?!!! Spend your money some place else. Don't go through the tourcher like we did an a few other couples we seen at breakfast too. Well the 45 min we waited and walked out cause we were so upset.

I though their bar and casino were entertaining because they had music playing and more than 2 different gambling games. There was also a stage with a live band and dancing.

It seemed like it was located further away than 2 miles from downtown like it says. Also, it is very run down looking and outdated along with the other surrounding buildings, which made me feel like I was not staying in a safe place or area. One last thing, the breakfast ends way too early (at 9:00 am) for the weekends in which people like to sleep in.

Overpriced for the room. The bed frame was nailed together boards that are not even finished. The room smelled like wet dogs. Bathroom was very small and run down. Tv as old as I am. Was very cramped and dark. Was not what was advertised or pictured on the internet at all. Courtyard was a weed craphole not even useable. The breakfast was not at all consumer friendly, you get egg, bacon, and pancake no choices at all. Would not stay at this one or any other vista inn.

The pool was very nice and the location of the hotel is very convenient for shoppers, etc.

The price was too high for the quality of this hotel. The comforter on one of the beds in the room smelled terrible, there were two lights in the room that did not work, the microwave did not work, the bathroom was unsanitary, the breakfast was pathetic. Also went to the kitchen in order to use the microwave and the kitchen was very unsanitary for a public kitchen! Not to mention no locks on the outside back doors, allowing strangers to enter the building.

We were able to be as loud as we wanted and didnt get in trouble. Location was great.

Clean room, friendly staff, pool w/ games mashines and jakussi, food was fantastic w/ good service. Opportunityto offre lunch.

We stayed because a family member got married near by. Several family members stayed in this same hotel. Never in my life have I ever seen a more disorganized operation. Very dirty, free hot breakfast was a complete joke. NEVER AGAIN! My aunt and uncle had to change rooms 3 times and they are hanicapped!
