Vistamar Villa  

The atmosphere created by the owners was exceptionally welcoming. Facilities were great. We had free use of all the outside areas, floats and balls in the pool, seating in different parts of the garden. There were beach towels supplied and we were able to borrow chairs and umbrellas to take to the beach - all free of charge. There was also a gas BBQ available to use. Rooms were nicely furnished and although not shiny hi-tech 'chain motel' style they were clean and well equipped. They had character and charm. Loads of storage in bedroom and kitchen. Large lounge area. Excellent location 200 yards from the beach and within walking distance to several good restaurants meant we could often leave the car behind (parking at the hotel was free too). A five minute drive away from Publix supermarket and the Galleria Shopping Mall. Would definitely recommend.

Having previously lived in this town for 10 yrs, I would say this is an older style typical south Floridian place. It's not a 5 star accommodation but it is basic, clean & has everything you might need for a laid back vacation, including a small pool & BBQs. It is quiet & the hoteliers are warm, helpful, approachable, low key people. If you're looking for luxury then this place isn't for you. If you want a safe, comfortable, quiet location 2 1/2 blocks from the beach at a very reasonable price...this just might be a jewel.

The motel is neat, tidy, clean and pleasant. The manager is friendly and curteous.

The weather was extremely hot and the small room air conditioner was unable to adequately cool the room. It was uncomfortably hot as a result.

It was great having kitchen facilities. Cute apartment. Great friendly helpful staff. Close to the beach.

The staff and other occupants were very friendly! Nice large rooms and very clean!

There was nothing that I did not like.

I liked the layout of the rooms. It was very quiet, and the manager was very helpful with recommendations. The location was excellent. We could walk to the beach, and many of the things we wanted to see were nearby.

Received a larger suite than I had booked. Owner/manager was extremely accommodating.

Smoking is allowed in courtyard & at courtyard tables, and it seriously drifts into nearby rooms...Needs maintenance as several lamps were inop, bedroom electric receptacle was inop, bedroom window would not close completely, etc...Also, a person was constantly played his stereo loud enough to be heard in the living room of my suite day and night...

friendly sincere owners owners on site 9am to 9pm..........everything at Visamar for a budget low key holiday break. Graeat location for beach and water taxi restaurants and places of inerest all closeby....... Safe neighbourhood and free parking place on site. Quiet friendly place to stay and relax .......great for small families mature couples.

Kitchen and bathroom need updates/modernisation

The warm welcome from the owners was a good start. The convenience of a washer/dryer on premises. One block from the beach and beach chairs/umbrellas provided to take with you. We had a small queen room but had everything we needed to make snacks :- microwave, little oven and fridge. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful motel in an superb location. Very close to the beach, bars and restaurant, however totally quiet. The owners are wonderful and made our stay more than wonderful. We would have liked to stay longer, but rooms were booked out, which is reasonable. Our suite was super clean,with fully equipped-kitchen. The motel is not the newest but it is charming and way better than many motels of big chains in this price category. We definitely recommend to stay at the Vistamar Villa!!!
