Once we made it up the bumpy road we found a very lovely place in the rain forest of Volcano close to Volcanoes National Park. It is a very quiet location except for the birds and other animals. But the cottage is surrounded by rain forest, so we expected animals. The interior is beautiful and the kitchen well equipped.

The bed could have been a little firmer, we don´t like it that soft. That is the only negative comment we have for this place.

Roomy - 2 full beds, kitchen with microwave, stove and small fridge

Small fridge - but for just 2 nights it worked for us. Needs more hooks in the bathroom. We had to use a new towel each time we showered- it did have more than enough towels

A very lovely house with everything you need for a couple nights stay. Very clean and spacious with 2 double beds and a crib for a baby. The owner was very helpful with our inquiries. Location was close to the Volcanoes national park

We loved the quiet secluded location.

    They need more towel racks

Environment and easy access to volcano national park

Some of the pots and pans were rusty but still manageable. However, we felt it can be improvement. Overall, it is a nice cottage with good facilities.

Very comfortable and relaxing accommodation in a beautiful setting. Everything I expected and more; if I had a retreat it would be so similar to this place. Beautiful and didn't want to leave.

Nothing negative about yhe accommodation itself, but the cockerels need a mention. They start approximately 2hrs before sunrise, which can be tiring after long days out around the island. Maybe if I was staying there longer I would get used to them.

We loved our secluded rainforest hideaway, with the flowering colour & constant trilling of the birds & chirping crickets. Inside the cottage we found an intriguing tapestry of colour & creation combined with modern facilities. The proximity to the volcano was superb which enabled us to capture many memories of our visit.

In a fairly damp climate, no washing machine or dryer was provided. Bathroom needs more towel racks.

The location is great and the cottage very special and nice. It was clean and well equipped. The offered food for the breakfast was very good. Price-quality ratio is - compaired to the other rare accomodations in Volcano - excellent. We would stay there again.

The food was not enough for 2 adults and 2 young children - not even for a light breakfast. The should double the amount of milk and food.
