Score from 219 reviews Very good
its only black and white
Location was good but there are other choices in the area.
The valet lost our key to our car so we could not leave the rest of the day. It took them half an hour before they told us that they misplaced our key. They had to get a locksmith to replace the key. Not professional at all.
Location was good and design was modern.
I needed to use a computer and it was $7 for 15 minutes! ?????
Location, in house restaurants/bars, overall decor
Way overpriced for the room. $450 (after required parking fee) for 1 night in a basic (smaller than average) king bed room. Bathroom only had an average shower. I've stayed at many hotels at comparable rates and they had large bathrooms with a soaking tub and a separate shower. On top of that it was a "discounted" rate for this room.
We liked the view
There were spots on the ceiling that had stuff stuck to them and they were several holes in the walls and big places of pain missing
good food, great soap
hotel did not have reservations correct after confirming with them twice. Left to me to contact booking.com to resolve.
The staff were exceptional : )
I had to move rooms 3 times due to pending renovations
Very fun atmosphere, eccentric, stylish. A DJ in the middle of the stairs when we checked in Friday afternoon. Takes your mind off business, you can relax..besides it's so dark you don't have a choice.
Everything was a little too dark, the room especially...almost like they were hiding something(dirt). I always check the bedding and there was dirt stains on the duvet. It was replaced promptly. The shower was clean, but a little dingy. Also, When I booked, there was not a notice that there would be an extra $268 charge to my card for room service. Instead I was allowed to pay a $200 cash deposit, which I got back an hour after check out. I don't like hidden charges.
I loved the modernity of the hotel and the sleek and hip appearance of the lobby and rooms. The staff was so welcoming and friendly.
Very loud and the breakfast they offered was overpriced.
Loved the location. Subway is not exactly outside the door but not an uncomfortable walk from the hotel.
Hostess at the restaurant gave incorrect information about obtaining takeither from the bar. When I told her I learned it is possible, she was smuggy said, "I know that." when I mentioned that was not what she told me, she said, "Did you get what you wanted?" When I said, I did, she repkied, "Well then there'should no problem is there." Turned and bounced away - quite rude. The hotel does not have the upscale feel you'd expect from a W hotel. It'seems more like a party hotel and not someplace I would bring my family. Too noisy in the lobby and on the floors and not fun to ride an elevator with people reeking of marijuana. Yes, i know what it smells like (it's in my line of work). Room service additional costs, delivery, service charge, etc. Makes for a REALLY expensive meal.
You should offer free coffee round the clock! And why so blatant about selling stuff from mini bar? Room decor was out of date and toilet looked like it came from bus station restroom
My first time staying at the W and it was amazing.Checking in and checking out was a breeze. The beds where so comfortable they even gave us free drinks at the bar inside of there.
everything was good except for the fact that the headboard and the leather in the room was peeling I a little
Rooms were nice with comfortable bed.
Dirty common areas, unfriendly staff, dogs were allowed in restaurant / bar area, by what appeared to be a friend of a staff member. Everything offered is extremely over priced.
Location was good. For the most part the room as well appointed.
You pay extra for everything. Pay for parking, pay for faster wifi, pay for breakfast. The valet parking took over 25 minutes to bring our car around.
Dirty glass left in room, just a run down hotel. Needs to be updated serverly. The W Buckhead is a better hotel.
broken safe, no washcloths, very dark, room set up like convenience store, everything had pricetags on it for sale, TOILET was kind found in public bathroom, very disgusting not "chic",half glass shower wall (water goes everywhere)what appeared to us as "human body fluids" on bathroom door and under desk.Bathroom barn door does not provide proper privacy
Location and downstairs were highlights of the building.
Room was just OK; not too comfortable or functional. Seemed designed to be trendy but did not meet our standards - lacked comfort.
The staff at the W were all really friendly and helpful. There are lots of nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. The glass elevator is very cool!
We hated having to leave!
Bar on sight Cool atmosphere
Coffee in lobby was not tasty
location and resturants
did not have a hot tub
The accommodations were very modern and nice. The room had all of the expected amenities and was very comfortable.
The walls must not be well insulated because I felt like I heard every footstep of the people in the rooms next to us. Also a couple of the lights did not work which wasn't horrible but was annoying at times.
The hotel was in excellent proximity to the events and activities we had scheduled. The staff was efficient and courteous, and we enjoyed the modern atmosphere in the hotel common areas and rooms.
Drinks at the bar, and amenities in the room (including water) were fairly pricey.
