The room was well appointed and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant was good and it was nice to have drinks or a late night snack by the fireplace in one of the living rooms.

When I made the reservation for the room I thought that I was paying $259 per night and went to check out and my rate was actually flex rates which I was annoyed about. I think $259 or even up to $289 is a fair rate for that room.

A hot drink dispenser in the room would have been nice (a coffee maker could be provided on request but not being a coffee drinker no alternative was given).

Awesome hotel! The swimming pool is small, but the rest is perfect. Position is ideal is you have business downtown. A little detail: guests get a complementary drop off drive on an luxurious Acura mpv during their stay.

The Spa is expensive. Wifi should be free of charge in this kind of hotels.

Not worth the price tag. The rooms were small and there were no drawers to put our clothes. We stayed for two nights, the little basket is a joke. For $300+ a night I was expecting to have at least one full size drawer. For a modern hotel to not have wireless internet included in room is frankly a nuisance.

Location, hot spot

The Hotel Management and staff were a breath of modern air in a very old school city. I have stayed at many W hotels, and found this one to have large regular rooms and very new and up to date amenities in each one. Two different pools, and multiple bars and hangouts on the main floor. The management take Whatever, whenever very seriously and if you just mention something, they go overboard. Our manager was Caleb who personally took any suggestion for myself on business or my wife and children on vacation to the highest levels of services. Location is also a plus, we were walking distance from 6th street AND the children's museum and the statue of Willie and congress avenue. Beautiful people and hotel. Top ratings!

Whatever i didnt like was well overshadowed by the hotel and staff.

Mostly everything. A beautiful hotel, hip bars and music. Trace resturant beautiful, with good food( not gormet to us). Would have liked a tub, took that for granted, but found out they are very limited and we could not change our reservation. But would highly recommend.Great coffee offered complimentary in the A.M. Not any easy find in Texas!

See above, re: tubs. But do remember ready that hotels are not providing as a regular option as poll shows more people shower and it's not a concern. For me to remember in the future.

Modern rooms

The pool was dirty and over crowded. No chairs. Really upsetting since that's the reason we picked this hotel. The room was very small and the view was terrible. overlooking ac units on the 6th floor. really bummed since we spent so much money on this hotel.

The room was clean

Music was so loud I wasn't able to fall asleep until after 3AM. I had gone to bed at 11PM

Very nice, modern, and clean facility. Upscale decor, very comfortable beds.
