The bed was extremely comfortable including the quality of the sheets and the pillows. Bathroom was very nice and modern...interesting lighting patterns in the bedroom.

Restaurant was not very inviting....and lighting was a bit dark in the coffee area in the morning...I wanted to sit and read the paper there and could not....however, the free coffee was very good.

Downtown

Way too expensive for the room we got. It was nice, but $300US for any regular hotel room is far too much in my opinion - especially when you had to pay for everything on top of that - internet, etc. A suite or something, yes, but a regular to small-sized hotel room, no. Parking was ridiculously expensive, and thankfully I got to park elsewhere for a third of the hotel's rate! I travel all over the world and this was one of the most expensive hotel rooms I've ever stayed in for value received - including ones at major interrnational airports in Europe.

love the whole experience from the cool lobby with great DJ to the little touches in the room. staff were great

The staff was excellent, available and eager to help. Location was terrific.

Not quite up to the standards of other W properties. Room was slightly, but only slightly, tired.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel was conveniently located, clean, and well decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable. I would recommend the hotel to others who wanted the convenience of downtown Chicago, but would warn them of the cost and lack of true amenities.

Due to the high cost of the room and the small size, too much unnecessary space was taken up with pricey "amenities". There was no microwave or coffee maker in the room. We had to pay for internet access. I have had more and better free amenities in hotels where the cost was 1/10th of the price per night. We were almost afraid to touch anything unless we checked with the staff as to the cost. The faux fur "throw" was just a strip of material and served absolutely no use. It was an advertizement only and took up space. The bathrobes were useless also as they were too small and obviously been washed numerous times (scratchy).

The bed was amazingly comfortable and provided the best night's sleep i've ever gotten. Including my select comfort matress at home.

I felt the soundproofing could have been better. We heard ever word spoken in the room next to us, and the ding of the elevator all night long. (Room was directly across from elevators)

Tuve problemas con el pago. En el hotel no encontraron la reservación realizada por internet con booking.com por lo cual se cargó de nueva cuenta la estancia. Quisiera ver la posibilidad de que entre booking y el hotel se pongan de acuerdo para no recibir el cargo por duplicado.Agradezco su amable atención a la presente.
