Place was convenient
Remodeling in progress, area for check in small space, bar/restaurant make shift- may have 8 small tables, needless to say did not eat or drink there
I liked everything didnt have any problems the guess we're super nice....
This isnt yall fault lol ...the guest next to us were loud....and the rooms are to close together....
The location was excellent which helped me to park and walk to all the events. All the staff treated me with respect an helped me in any way they could.
The parking valet was too high $49.00 per night. I know it was a special event weekend but don't try to charge that much just to park. The hotel price jumped up too high also. My daughter booked three hours before me, I had to pay much more than she did.
renovation, no free wi-fi, no coffee maker in the room
The room was newly renovated and so clean as though no one had stayed in it since the renovation. Located directly across from the Harrah's Casino and near the river and in walking distance of the French Quarter. Staff was very friendly.
A purse and $2,000 and two pair of shoes were stolen from inside a suitcase in the morning of our second day of stay after the room had been cleaned. Valet parking was a block away from the hotel at $46 dollars extra per day. Bathroom lighting was extremely poor. Was told that one of the light fixtures was still scheduled to be installed. Bathroom had no exhaust system.
The room decor is modern. The swimming pool is cool. The rate is reasonable.
Nice, clean, and location is close attractions.
The staff was really nice. The location is pretty good.
Was a w hotel. Now it's not. &Quot;Renovated" with uncomfortable beds, rooms incomplete. Shower leaked all over the bathroom floor and they couldn't fix. We were told to clean the floor with towels they didn't give us enough of in the first place. Very noisy, too! We could hear the people 2 rooms over! Moved to a Westin.
Staff was very professional and friendly. When we had issue with room they were very quick to respond and move our room. Every day we were received with a smile. Service was very good.
First room (which was a renovated room) did not have an overhead light in the bathroom -- it was very dark and when a woman is trying to put make up on .. not a good thing. Also, in a hotel chain like (either) the W or Meridian a make up mirror should be in every room. The lighting in the bathroom even when moved to a room with an overhead light is not good. when 2 or more people are staying in a room , more than one shampoo, conditioner , etc should be left as well as towels. We had to call , every night for more . New Orleans in August is hot... A shower in the morning and evening are necessary -- that should be a linen consideration for folks who like to have fresh towels. When we called for need for additional sundries, hangers.. here is were service was VERY slow. We even had to call for reminders. Moving to the Meridian name means something in the brand. We were elated to see that this was where you were moving to but there are some flaws that should be cared for before you go full throttle. At this point, I would not choose this hotel again.
My bed at home was more comfy, comforter had stains on it, tub was dirty on my gave us one towel overall the room was definitely not whar I expected for a supior king and it said it was going to have a big bathroom thing well my bathroom at home is better
The location and lobby were great
The mini fridge wasn't even cleaned, I had to clean it. It was so loud I could barely sleep. A bunch of hidden fees and cramped living space. If you want to spend a bunch of money on motel quality, this is for you.
They are doing reservations so our room was upgraded. Nice comfortable beds and awesome staff.
Our sink was leaking and I advise the clerk the following morning but it wasn't repaired.
Front desk staff were rude Not as clean as I prefer
I noticed a difference in the way I was treated by staff when I paid full price (the first 2 nights) verses a discounted rate via booking.com. Also beware that there are numerous fees for room service and it can wind up being double the price on the menu if you get something cheap.
Staff was great. Location fine.
Pricey for the accommodations. they were dated.
Property a little out of date, but currently being upgraded.
The rooms are small. I asked for a handicap accessible room for my wheelchair. The chair barely fit and there was a tub not a walk-in shower.
Very friendly concierge Travis. Location is very near to the french quarter which was convinient. Tony and Bryan from the bell desk are amazingly helpful!
The reception staff, most of them, were very unfriendly and didn't know how to put a smile on their face, made me feel very unwelcome.
The hottel located in the center of the city walking destance from french quarters.you can shop and enjoy they hall day music carnuvals .
Kind and thoughtful staff. Car came from valet expeditiously. Staff offered directions and water when we came in.
I liked everything about it. Stay was WONDERFUL!!!
The Madi gras vibe
Older decor & look
Room and service met my expectations.
Price was high, but it was understandable as I was staying during Mardi Gras weekend.
