W New York - Times Square  

The location is the best. A modern gem in the middle of everything you need to see in New York (if not in a walking distance, all the subway lines will be just around the corner).

A little overpriced, even for New York standards.

Cocktails and celeb spotting was fantastic! Bar crowd was fun. Concierge was really helpful and restaurant suggestions very great. Free bubbles and choc strawberries for my birthday!!

Expensive wifi in room. Lack of storage space / hanging space for luggage.

The hotel's hip design and prime location

The noises in the morning. I woke up at 7 everyday from noises. I think the walls are really thin. And when it was windy outside I can hear the window's metel making noises

The W isnt your traditional 5 star hotel, but if you dont want traditional, its perfect. You walk into the lobby and its actually a bar with a DJ playing music. The rooms are very modern and very comfortable.

Ambience of hotel was the best I've experienced.

Very cool rooms...cool lobby and bar atmosphere. Very good location for shows, dining and shopping.

Organization at check in, baggage could be better.

Location is great with younger kids (11 & 12) as you are in the centre of everything Staff very helpful If your after image then its got the right look and feel,

At $800 dollars a night it was overpriced, - it's only a luxury hotel on the surface, cheap fittings and workmanship / poor showers, lack of facilities. Wanted to charge for everything, $50 per device for WiFi, (1x laptop, 2x iPad and 4 Smart phones = $350!), movies for kids $18, We would normally stay at the Royalton and regret not booking there.

The room was really well designed and comfortable. We really enjoyed that aspect of our stay. Also, we ordered room service and it was prompt and tasty.

The concierge recommended a restaurant that had been closed (which we discovered after walking a good distance in the cold). Also, the lobby bathroom was more disgusting than a truck stop bathroom. I was shocked and horrified, as were the other women in the bathroom with me. There were drinks from the night before, and general filth and dirtiness.

The staff was excellent

My wife and I had a wonderful and comfortable stay with you folks. The location was perfect...right in the heart of times square and the service exhibited by your staff was excellent. Fabulous design, great bar, good gym. Nice little touches everywhere. Concierge was most helpful, especially when my partner needed emergency dentistry. Beds are super-comfy. One of those places that you really don't want to leave............

Elevators were a constant issue as they kept breaking down. Frustrating but not the end of the world. Would have like tea/coffee making facilities in room (especially when we were stuck in the room for 3 hours when the elevators failed to come back to the higher levels following a power cut). But the biggest gripe was that the cupboard and storage space was no where near enough. There was only enough hanging and drawer space for the male of the party and the female here had to live out of her suitcase - and I am not a backpacker!!!!!!!!
