The W New York - Times Square surpassed our expectations. We loved everything about it, the location, the design and comfort. We really loved the music and the liveliness of the lobby and bar areas. |

The location for New Years Eve. Service-had to call concierge 3 times for coffee, ice maker on floor didn't work. Reserved lower floor suite (fantastic) with view of times square, fridge and coffee maker, received 49th floor, no fridge, view of broadway but not times square, no coffee maker. Booked reservations well in advance, was in touch monthly with hotel, everything confirmed multiple times, very disappointed with service. Changed room to lower floor (15) but rec'd room without any kind of view. Changed again to 29th floor. Better view, but requested a view of times square so we could see the stage and they said no rooms faced that way. Hard to believe when the entire side of the hotel had windows and faced that way. Did not feel "Welcomed" and was not "Wow'd" |

The location was perfect, and the hotel's style/design was immaculate and modern. Staff was extra helpful at every turn. Only things we didn't like were minor things you could find with any hotel/room, I suppose. The ice maker on our floor wasn't working so we had to go to other floors to get ice. Also, the heater in the room worked too well. Even though it was only 20 degrees outside, we had to turn it off quite a bit of the time so we didn't bake in the room. |

The location was great. The room was a good size for NY and the bed was really comfortable. Love the Bliss products. You must order the Smores cake from room service...outstanding! The website mentions that there are bathrobes in the room, but my room did not have one. |

Excellent position to vist the city, nice interior design Air condition/heating a little bit too noisy; the bathroom could be better supplied and a bit bigger, the bill at check out didn't reflect the rate got at the booking. |

The staff were very helpful. The food at the hotel both breakfast and dinner was extremely good. However we were promised robes when booking and did not receive these. This was disappointing. Just the lack of robes as above |

The staff at the w Hotel were unbelievable!!! I took my daughter to nyc for her 13th birthday. The staff at check-in wished her a happy birthday and we were surprised to find birthday cards and presents from the hotel staff in our room. Later they brought her a huge piece of wonderful birthday cake!! All of the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. I have never had a more pleasant stay at a hotel. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel!!! There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel. The location is outstanding. The staff were friendily knowledgeable, polite and professional. I am from the South and I can tell you that the staff there are so friendly that they set a standard for other New York hotels. They left a very good and lasting impression on my daughter who said that she felt like a movie star while we were there. |

Loved the design of the common areas and our room, which was very comfortable and had great beds and linens. Icemaker on our floor was broken but they delivered ice to us when requested. Internet access was $11.95/day plus $.50 per copy for printing -- highway robbery. |

The hotel is contempory though minimalist. Great views of Times Square. Close to theaters and shopping. Extremely helpful staff. Because of the minimalist decor, very little drawer space and no shelving in bathroom to lay your toiletries. |

I liked the modern design and the lobby. The hotel has an excellent location. The suites are relatively good size for the New York city. Our room was not ready at 3 o'clock. The staff lied to us. We were supposed to have a suite on high floor with a view of Times square. That was the only reason we stayed at the W. This was confirmed when we inially registered, but when we returned to see if the rrom was clean and ready to chek in, they said the only suite available is on low floor and we did not have a vie of imes Squre. I do not like liers. I will not stay at this hotel unless I get a letter of appology. |

I liked the layout and comfort of the room. All of the things were very high-tec feeling (and looking) that I felt like I was a very modern, posh hotel. But the customer service was so good, I never felt out of place! |
