The location was great, right around the corner from the excitement of Times Square, yet convenient to Restaurant Row and 5th Ave. All members of the staff we dealt with were friendly and accommodating. |

The staff at the w Hotel were unbelievable!!! I took my daughter to nyc for her 13th birthday. The staff at check-in wished her a happy birthday and we were surprised to find birthday cards and presents from the hotel staff in our room. Later they brought her a huge piece of wonderful birthday cake!! All of the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. I have never had a more pleasant stay at a hotel. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel!!! There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel. The location is outstanding. The staff were friendily knowledgeable, polite and professional. I am from the South and I can tell you that the staff there are so friendly that they set a standard for other New York hotels. They left a very good and lasting impression on my daughter who said that she felt like a movie star while we were there. |

Loved the design of the common areas and our room, which was very comfortable and had great beds and linens. Icemaker on our floor was broken but they delivered ice to us when requested. Internet access was $11.95/day plus $.50 per copy for printing -- highway robbery. |

The hotel is contempory though minimalist. Great views of Times Square. Close to theaters and shopping. Extremely helpful staff. Because of the minimalist decor, very little drawer space and no shelving in bathroom to lay your toiletries. |

I liked the modern design and the lobby. The hotel has an excellent location. The suites are relatively good size for the New York city. Our room was not ready at 3 o'clock. The staff lied to us. We were supposed to have a suite on high floor with a view of Times square. That was the only reason we stayed at the W. This was confirmed when we inially registered, but when we returned to see if the rrom was clean and ready to chek in, they said the only suite available is on low floor and we did not have a vie of imes Squre. I do not like liers. I will not stay at this hotel unless I get a letter of appology. |

I liked the layout and comfort of the room. All of the things were very high-tec feeling (and looking) that I felt like I was a very modern, posh hotel. But the customer service was so good, I never felt out of place! |

The atmosphere They bumped us, we did not get the suite that we paid for upfront, we were put in a corner room, they overbooked the hotel, very disappointed, we were not notified that our suite would not be available, anniversary trip was a disappointment, we filed a complaint with Westin, we now have an open file |

The staff was extremely helpful, the room was well decorated (although not very big) and the location was excellent. There was a mix up with my credit card and they ended up charging me more money regarding the hotel room and charged one excess hotel bar account. |

The design of the hotel was amazing, I loved it! Very Modern hotel! I enjoyed the fact that I didn't have to go far to have a drink, I would go down to the lobby bar and have a drink then return to the room! Great crowd! I arrived early, yet my room was ready! The front desk agent Nicholas was very nice and helpful and promptly checked me in! Hotel is in a great location, plenty of restaurants in time square and down the side streets! Can't wait to come back! |

Staff very friendly and service-oriented. The decor and atmosphere was very chic. I stayed on 32nd floor with a King size bed and it had a chaise chair next to window. The room was not small in comparison to other hotels I've stayed at in nyc. It was nice-sized and definitely 2 people would be comfortable. Nice bar and seating area by lobby. Location was perfect...I Was there to take dance classes at Broadway Dance Center which was a short 2-3 minute walk. Hotel in heart of Times Square. Had great price deal via booking.com. Not sure why other reviews had problem with lights/blind. Adequate lamps and reading lamp on either side of bed & lit endtables was cool! Shower had nite lite. Blinds--just pull chain to move up or down. Last night I was there, lots of noise from maintenance fixing something (leak?) on 32nd floor hallway around 2 am...looked like carpet was all wet. Not sure what it was as noise went on for about an hour. This was the exception rather than the rule. Other nights were fine. |

The beautiful, contemporary decor, gorgeous city views, the comfortable bed, and quiet room made it our haven for the week. My husband also loved the gym, which was not an additional fee, thank you. The noisy bar on floor 7 was very annoying to be forced to go through to get to our room each night. Also, having to wait in a lengthy line at the consierge and lobby desks when we needed to ask even simple questions was irritating (floor 7 again, ugh). |

Very convenient - in the city center. The lobby and the bar is beautiful. When you come to the hotel it is not easy to find a porter which seemed weird to me |

Very stalylish and cool. Nice branding. I especially liked the amenity goods they use. The room could be clearner.... Most of the parts were fine but there were things could have been better, like dust on air hole or finger prints on window frames etc. Also, I would have liked to have more lights in the room. |

The location and the friendly staff !!! The suite is good for 2 adults and 2 children younger than 12 years, because the beds or not comfortable. We booked for family with older children with booking.com. I also called the hotel and somebody told me that the room was ok for 4 adults. There is also much noise at night. |

La habitación, sus instalaciones, su servicio "whatever" y su ubicación. A pesar de haber estado en la planta 36 se escuchaba el ruido de la calle, así como las tuberias, que al abrir los grifos en otras habitaciones, hacian un ruido bastante fuerte y desagradable. |
