Great room, good view. Wonderful location. Great check in staff. Loved the DJ in the lobby!
Only thing was that food service stopped around 11 and I got back to the hotel starving twice. Would've liked to see a light late night menu available at all times.
Loved the vibe of this luxury hotel. Staff super friendly, even at 2am when I arrived. The maid service was top notch -- everything was in its place and stocked every day when I'd get back to my room after a long day at a conference.
Paying for wifi
Stylish and great staff
Comfortable corner king room met every need for our trip. Very clean and felt like home.
Great location within walking distance of the Ferry Business, Nobb Hill and tons of great restaurants and museum.
We were very disappointed in the room which looked more like an Econolodge than a W. Desperately needs updating. Not at all like other W Hotels. The towels were cheap and course. The shower had no water pressure. There was only one bar of soap for both the sink and shower. The place has weak amenities. No pool or hot tub, no outside space, not even a small patio. In light of these inadequacies, the $40 per person to use the steam room and $60 to park seemed like a real insult. We could have had a nicer room, free parking and a swim at the Holiday Inn! What a joke.
The staff is nice.
no free wifi in the room
design, the fresh interieur of the room
After four nights I checked with the guy at the reception whether we could book an extra night.. He checked and offered one.. for double the price. We left as the corner room really was not worth a 500 USD/night. Also I think it is rather sad that when you have two people staying in a room that you continuously leave 1 1/4 L bottle of water iso 2..
The breakfast area and its employees
We were in room 901, which was right by the elevator. You can hear the ding of the elevator every time it comes and goes (all throughout the night!) which we found terribly frustrating.
Bed was very comfortable and enjoyed the room decor.
Well, they could not seem to figure out how to properly bill people. The first night we checked in and had my friend with us. We asked for a roll away bed for the night (which cost $40, btw: pretty steep if you ask me). My friend paid for it with her credit card, which she very clearly said "use my card for the roll away bed". They ended up mistakenly using her card to pay for the incidental hold as well ($200) and they mistakenly charged her for the hold TWICE. So that $400 on her card. When she noticed the mistake she called the hotel and they literally said there was nothing they could do. Over the next 3 days they mistakenly charged her card over $1000. AND they charged for 2 nights with the rollaway bed, even though we used it for one night. Unbelievably terrible customer service. They definitely don't make you feel appreciated. AND parking is $50 a day unless you want to find street parking (impossible) or walk a few blocks from a parking garage (with your bags). Not the most convenient...
The hotel is pretty nice. Good location, fairly close to good shopping and the freeway. AWESOME strip club next door, if you're into that. Bed was super comfy. Decor was interesting and on cheesy. Bar downstairs and super convenient iPads and printer downstairs to print your boarding pass before you leave.
Window looked at a cement wall and it appeared all the rooms along my side of the corridor would be in the same situation (though still let some decent natural light in). $15 a night for spotty wifi. Bad or no reception on local network channels.
Really great/helpful staff. Room was cheery, comfortable, modern and functional - good use of space made the room feel larger than it was. Bliss products always a plus. Free bottle of water. Comfy bed. Yummy spiced nuts accompanied my cocktail! (Though they brought me an aviation cocktail instead of a gin martini with Aviation brand gin…letting that slide because it was still good).
No free parking.
Set up perfect for a younger couple.
Upgrade to high floor Excellent service Thx!!!
A bit hectic but as to be expected for the location and popularity of the hotel and area.
Fun place to stay, cool environment feels more like a boutique hotel than a large chain. Even an illuminated Budha for good vibes.
the window bed is wonderful
Styling of the hotel was great!
The hotel did not look fully 'W' it was almost as though they had taken on an old hotel and tried to turn it into a w. The bathrooms needed an update for sure
All the social areas were nice and the Staff were very pleasant
They billed me for $15 for internet even though I never used it or logged on.
Location was great and party was downstairs..
The room service!
The fact that they wouldn't even let a paying customer with proof of a hotel key and room stay at the bar to enjoy herself because someone bought the bar for the night. So unfair for someone who finally gets to get spoiled from her husband a little bit and is a paying customer at that hotel. My money isn't as good as someone else's? If we get treated that way and do nothing we will always be treated this way by big corporate scum. So there for. Poor rating from me.
I liked the fact that the hotel was by my job site. Working long hours over the past year I decided to fork out some money and bring my wife close to me and be as to enjoy what looked like a great hotel. A gift she deserves for putting up with me and my hours for so long.
Room was on unfinished floor with workers installing furniture, etc. in rooms with all room doors open. Nice location/staff but getting a room on a floor with work going on was unfortunate. Expected more from a W hotel.
Good location. Nice staff. Decent bar downstairs.
Too much light came in though the windows in the morning and woke us up....
Big cloud like bed.
Very very noisy. Construction right outside our window. Noisy college students.
No slippers in the room, no kettle or coffee maker in the room
Friendly staff, nice room, great bed
