Perfect location - walk almost everywhere! Plenty of shopping & restaurants & tourist attractions nearby. Very clean hotel, nice rooms, excellent staff. Would stay here again for sure.
Outrageously expensive parking garage @55/night, less expensive garage next door, didn't sleep super well first night, but next two were better, down pillows little too soft for me. Whole place is little over the top modern/ contemporary style for me, but some of it was pretty cool like leather sofas & gas fireplace in lobby. Very few complaints really-great hotel!
Location, wonderful corner suite w/great views, very comfortable bed and nicely appointed room.
All that was missing in the lounge in the evenings was the DJ - the noise level of the music was not inviting, even overhead others much younger than us annoyed by it. Restaurant prices, esp. for breakfast are way too high, so-so grade for quality and service.
On the second day the room had not been cleaned by 2 PM so had to ask for clean towels. They arrived within 5 minutes so we were not delayed to the wedding we were attending. The entire hotel staff was outstanding!
The beds could have been queen size rather than doubles.
We have stayed here before and will stay again. Great hotel!!!
In room coffee would have been nice
Location was great, service was better than average, front desk was better than average food was better than average
Room not much of a view and shower cleanliness was poor reported to front desk not much if a response or follow up thanks J & L
Reservations were all screwed up. I was registered under a's instead of under t'S.
- friendly staff - comfortable beds
- fake valet charges totaling >$50; total refusal by staff to escalate or remove charges despite multiple calls - outdated facilities (air conditioning would only go on when present in the room, leaving it muggy on return) - poor location for downtown; embedded in financial district away from better restaurants and neighborhoods - far pricier than what it was worth; place feels about ten years too old for the cost - stay at Hyatt Olive 8 ~ salt-water pool, brand new rooms, far more central location
Good location, comfortable beds
Extremely expensive parking, shabby furnishings, staff not very helpful with restaurant recommendations
Early check in.
Room faced parking garage, which we were told and ok with as we were told it was quiet. But there were no drapes just flimsy blinds and the lights from the garage were beaming in all night. The sushi bar ignored us as to offering drinks. Had to get up and ask and after 20 minutes and no service had to ask again.
W Hotel is perfectly located and comfortable. I highly recommend it !
"young spirited", but doesn't really fit families with little kids amazing facewash and soaps! great big room with a nice view
no free wifi?!?!? Overall it seems like everything is extra - 40$ parking fee, 14$ a day wifi charges, super expensive restaurant for room service (19$ for a grilled cheese sandwich? come on..). It feels like someone is purposely sucking your money away on things that aren't worth it. Not a very good feeling, so we probably will pick a different hotel next time, even though we did enjoyed our stay. That's too bad..
Quiet; decent restaurant
- Front desk staff not very knowledgable - very over priced for facilities available
Shower had didn't have good water pressure and took a long time to warm up, never did get a really warm shower. With the cost of this hotel, the amenities should be free, however, it charged for internet service.
When the room we booked was not exactly what we had thought we were receiving, the hotel staff was very responsive and was able to change our room for no cost with no hassle. The staff was very attentive and courteous. The cool corner room was beautiful, comfortable, and clean.
As usual, the high end hotels don't offer free wifi which always blows my mind in this day and age. It almost seems like not offering free wifi to guests who are paying $200 and up for a room is poor customer service. Free wifi is always offered at hotels that cost even just $30 a night... Just saying, I know this is luxury hotel protocol as they assume their guests have a lot of money and want to nickle and dime them for as much as they can get... But I would prefer to stay in a cheap hotel when wifi is $5 an hour... That's crazy.... Also, the valet parking garage was $60 when I only had a motorcycle, which I have to park the vehicle myself, and then the space I parked in wasn't even a real space... Merely just a little corner behind a support column... The hotel should consider giving a discounted rate to bikes, especially when they aren't even parking them in full parking spots. Also, the closest store for beer/wine/champagne is about 8 blocks away.
Double beds were too small Room was crowded Very overpriced Decor dates Parking expensive No pool
Very friendly and helpful staffs for all I met, especially Zach gave me fantastic service !!!
Parking full when we arrived, even though they charge so high parking fee. No pool. No coffee in room. Elevator very old, doesn't work with room key very often.
We got a beautiful corner room. Loved the view and the chaise lounge! I love the decor of the whole hotel. People were friendly and helpful. I also love the Bliss products included in the room.
Stayed here for 4 days, went to the Seahawks and charger game, didn't need a taxi for anything stadium in walking distance, pike place market in walking distance and the beautiful space needle in walking distance.. Very good customer service. Nice comfortable bed as well, never had a problem sleeping.
I didn't like that I could only stay for 4 days, I wish I could have stayed longer!
Great sushi bar Friendly bartenders. I stay with W for the fun atmosphere.
Room had a "musty" smell. Struck me as odd given the brand image.
Bar staff was friendly and attentive
Front desk staff on august 15 and 16. Hair and dirt in bathroom. Not too nice of a room. Complete waste of my 400 dollars that I took a lot of time to save. Wish I would have booked a different hotel. Not to mention woken up at 8am by house keeping. Literally the only decent think was I got a free cocktail coupon. Thanks a lot.
The staff was very helpful. Hotel was clean and in a great city location.
Nothing, everything was fine.
Clean, coffee provide at 5am. Locate on seattle center
Don't have free water
It was evpensive
Comfortable bed & spacious rooms.
No black-out curtains allowing too much light into the room, need to carry luggage up a flight of stairs in the lobby which was inconvenient & hallways were very dark.
Location. Lounge Area.
Homeless allowed to come in and sleep in lounge and bother customers for food or money.
