Our room was a corner unit on the 14th floor and the floor to ceiling windows were to die for! Fabulous views and the most comfortable bed!
Only one robe was in our room so we had to call down for a 2nd.
Bed is terribly uncomfy
We had a corner room on the 24th floor- absolutely beautiful city view. Perfect room- modern facilities, clean and contemporary. Walking distance to Pikes Place market, great restaurants and staff at hotel were great.
I enjoyed everything about this hotel. The welcoming staff, concierge, bar and restaurant staff were all exceptional. My room was very comfortable and spacious and if I could've taken the bed home I would've. Location is great too, I managed to get around to see and do everything that I had planned on foot and it's such a beautiful city to wander around.
The staff was incredible and the location convenient for just about everything downtown.
We were in a "Spectacular Room" with a bad peek-a-boo view of the water...there was nothing spectacular about the room. I take that back, the noise the air handling system made all night was spectacular. WiFi was $4.95 an hour. That's the first time, anywhere in the world, I've paid for WiFi in a hotel. The lobby looked like a disco Christmas nightmare on board a spaceship. I have no idea what look they were going for there. Parking was $55 for the night, bringing the total to $235 for a one night's stay. We won't be going back to the W.
Staff, rooms are cozy and location superb!
Additional cost for wi-fi in room. Parking lot full upon arrival-had to find parking elsewhere.
Great location, friendly staff, nice and clean rooms
Friendly staff and great location. Easily walked to the stadium for a football game. Many bars an restaurants within walking distance. I will definitely make this my hotel of choice when traveling to Seattle.
Room felt like a suite, well furnished, comfortable bed, great seating, nice bathroom
Music in lobby is very loud late in the evening
Location and overall service....
Parking is expensive. I hate the fact that they charge for Internet in the rooms. Lobby gets busy at night.
The location is great and the staff upgraded our suite. The staff was very nice and accommodating, they were forthcoming with recommendations about where to go in town.
The beds were the worst part of the room, lumpy, old and very uncomfortable. This is an older property so everything is very dated. The room was cleaned each day but the toiletries were not replaced, neither was the free water (it usually is at w in sf). The rooms are in need of renovation. The tables are cluttered with outdated technology, a giant phone, radio, old ipod doc, which make the room look shabby. For the price we paid it was ok, but if it was at a regular w rate, it would not be a good value. Although the staff was helpful, at least one concierge aggressively disparaged several local businesses that were recommended to us by friends. This made for a needlessly awkward conversation.
Restaurant- Superb food. Staff -excellent. Hot water, nice room, quiet and beautiful decor. :D
Mattress was a little soft.
Location and proximity of hotel in relation to all the festivities on the slate were very nice. Easy to use public transportation at very reasonable rates! Nice hotel with all the amenities, but they come at a premium. Bar and lounge come at a premium as well...
Drink costs in the lounge and sheer lack of care by other guests in the a.m. with the slamming of doors as they left rooms...if doors had a slight pressure in hinges to keep from slamming, would have had much better mornings!
Location and feel of the hotel. Loved the lounge on Satday night.
Waking up and having to leave the room for coffee
This was our first time at the W. It will not be our last. We loved the location - close to everything! So many dining choices. The staff was wonderful! Can't wait to go back!
Good location Room on the 23rd floor with a city, Space Needle view, beautiful!
Interesting overall vibe
The hotel was located down town so that was great. The lobby and lounge/ restaurant were very nice and the manager and staff were very friendly and helpfull.
For the price the room was average. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Boise Idaho the weekend before and the room was much nicer for under half the price.
Valet staff is wonderful, given difficult parking facilities off the street!!!
Perfect location - walk almost everywhere! Plenty of shopping & restaurants & tourist attractions nearby. Very clean hotel, nice rooms, excellent staff. Would stay here again for sure.
Outrageously expensive parking garage @55/night, less expensive garage next door, didn't sleep super well first night, but next two were better, down pillows little too soft for me. Whole place is little over the top modern/ contemporary style for me, but some of it was pretty cool like leather sofas & gas fireplace in lobby. Very few complaints really-great hotel!
Location, wonderful corner suite w/great views, very comfortable bed and nicely appointed room.
All that was missing in the lounge in the evenings was the DJ - the noise level of the music was not inviting, even overhead others much younger than us annoyed by it. Restaurant prices, esp. for breakfast are way too high, so-so grade for quality and service.
On the second day the room had not been cleaned by 2 PM so had to ask for clean towels. They arrived within 5 minutes so we were not delayed to the wedding we were attending. The entire hotel staff was outstanding!
The beds could have been queen size rather than doubles.
We have stayed here before and will stay again. Great hotel!!!
In room coffee would have been nice
Location was great, service was better than average, front desk was better than average food was better than average
Room not much of a view and shower cleanliness was poor reported to front desk not much if a response or follow up thanks J & L
