their a/c in the room really worked to cool the room location could not be beat large bathroom with a Toto washlet!! the staff were friendly and helpful!
electronic door lock broke and numerous people had to open the door for me their a/c was leaking on the beds
Great location, off the main strip, but close to everything, or a very short walk to the action.
Great location. Close to so many great facilities and amenities
Great experience ruined by front of house staff. My recommendation to other travellers would be to ensure that they check their credit card statements on a daily basis.
Newly renovated property right in the heart of the Waikiki business district. Super nice staff that get the term "customer service". The beds were very comfortable and we slept great. There are nicer hotels in the area, but not at this price point.
It has a pool, but nobody uses it due to its small size and location on the property.
Great spot for buses & other transportion
My girl friend and I stayed at the Oasis hotel for 4 nights for the labour day weekend and we left the hotel totally blown away from the excellent customer service and location. ALL the staff are super attentive on making sure that you are left satisfied with the stay. Even though it's a 3-star hotel, I felt like I was in a 5-star hotel. I will definitely come back here as my go-to hotel - thank you Aqua Oasis!!! :-)
As the balconies outside the hallways isn't closed up (open concept), I found that there were small itty bitty ants that snuck into the room - I noticed this on my first night. Not a big deal though as I have notified front desk and they took care of it right away and the room was ant-free afterwards. :-)
The place and the staff In the front ,security guard, manager.
loved the staff and friendliness, ease of checking in and checking out. love the towel/beach chair amenities and small but nice pool and deck in lounge area. my grandson loved the fish/turtles and geckos in the retreat area but not the smokers.
had a small problem with bathtub leaking to floor below and told not to use bath.. seems a waste.. but satisfied with showers. towels were refreshed upon request.. such a large lanai. nice suite .. we had 4 aduts and one child..
Everything, clean bathrooms, clean comfortable beds, great prices! ($150-$180)
Valet parking $30 but next time I will weigh out the options of havinga rental car plus valet parking to pay for vs taking the bus or a shuttle to the places I want to go.
Great place and great price right in the heart of things.
I love the hi-speed wifi connection in the room and around the hotel at no cost.
I don't like the way they charged me for an additional night just because I checked out a few hours later than the check out time.
The Aqua Oasis is a good hotel....not great...but it's good for what it offers. The staff is incredibly friendly and were always very helpful in whatever our group needed. They accomodated half our group arriving a day early and coordinated with us via email. They also helped to fix some charges that weren't correct when I brought it to their attention. This was done expeditiously and they continued to work with me at the front desk until it was resolved. The location is pretty good. A few blocks from the beach and right down the street from the Royal Hawaiian shopping center. It's also across from a great Irish pub too. The rooms were nice and worked for our group. The front desk held my bags after checkout until I left around 9 pm. That was awesome and saved me from lugging my stuff around all the time. I absolutely appreciated that. This hotel isn't the most glamorous in Waikiki, but if you need a pretty nice place to stay and don't mind not having a few things - it works.
The WIFI in the lobby worked fine but up in the rooms it didnt. I wasn't there long enough to actually says something, so not sure if that was my own doing or not. There were very small ants crawling on our bathroom floor and up on the walls. I called the front desk and they sent up someone to spray in certain areas. We asked for the can and proceeded to spray it ourselves and it was fine. (Keep in mind, we are a group of 4 military guys. So this wasn't a big deal to us). I know others may have demanded a new room or gotten upset. Just relax...the ants aren't going to eat you and we never had any issues with them after that. No breakfast options, but that is super super minor.
Excellent location, friendly staff, a good simple kitchen
additional charge of parking
Our room was upgraded on arrival to a junior suite. The staff were very helpful and let us leave our cases and use the pool area until our evening flight. Very good value for money.
The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location of the hotel was central to everything and the facilities provided were great including the free breakfast every morning!
Location to shopping and restaurants
Overlooking messy backyards
Excellent for the price paid. Very friendly, helpful staff
The breakfast could be improved a little but it was still sufficient to get the day started
Staff was really friendly and willing to help.
Inspite of the obvious poor location and being a lower end hotel, the staff tried their best to help and accommodate customers making up for the short coming of poor location and low end hotel.
Poor location and low quality amenities.
Simple but healthy breakfast; big LED TV; comfort bathtub...
parking is expensive, a little bit noisy.
Reasonable location for the price range.
PERFECT location. A minute's walk to restaurant's, shops and Waikiki Beach. The staff was available and friendly around the clock. This is the perfect affordable place for family, with or without children. Our room was cleaned everyday and although we brought our own shampoos & soap, the hotel provided them in the rooms at no charge. The complimentary breakfast is very simple; fresh fruits from the island & flaky fresh croissants. We highly recommend this hotel to all travelers.
Valet parking was a bit expensive, 30.00 USD a day.
parking lot they expensive and not convenient
Changed rooms twice because it smelled strongly of fresh paint. First, my room was not ready at check-in time & I was asked if I could wait an hour - and - a - half (could not because of medical appointment). Noted prior to arrival of medical heart condition for handicap parking but received no response. Finally got a room that didn't smell like paint but didn't even sit due to time constraints. After my medical appointment, I was advised that I was being admitted into the hospital so I went to hotel & informed them. I was told I would be refunded my $ because of the unusual circumstances & I left. I later found out that I was recharged the amount of the initial day. I am now having to dispute the charge which entails cancelling my card & all accounts associated with automatic billing attached to it. Very disappointed, although the desk clerk who discharged me was very compassionate & truly sympathetic about my situation.
LOVED IT!!! The staff was wonderful!!! Dexter and Mike went out of their way to make sure all of my Family was comfortable! Thank you so much for everything!
Loved it all!!!:)
