Location was wonderful
ANTS!!! wait on someone to come fix safe
Awesome Italian place
Front desk lady was speaking Chinese to 2 guests for 12 minutes before checking me in. They were already checked, and left and just sat down. Front desk staff the next day didn't tell us they had a shuttle. Called us a cab to airport and the cost was $72.00.
The view was beautiful. The property was very clean. The location was excellent. Transportation was reliable and timely.
Check-in: Desk clerk was supposed to provide me information regarding the half marathon that I was visiting wdw to participate in. He gave a quick glance at his desk area, did not see any more packets and shrugged it off. Desk clerk did not notify me that there was a mandatory room charge for Wi-fi, etc. Also placed a hold on $100 on my debit card for incidentals. This was an unexpected charge that was not communicated to me when I booked the room. It was not available to me upon check out, contrary to the explanation that he gave me. My stay: television inoperable- would not power on. Internet password was not given to me (I did not ask for it- had no idea that I was being charged for it anyway, until I checked out and received the bill) Check out: I explained my grievances to the desk clerk (different person) when I checked out. She refunded me one day worth of parking fees (did not equal the price of one day of mandatory room fee- that was charged for two days). I have stayed at other Disney Resort Hotels and have always enjoyed my stay, except at the wdw Swan. It does not meet the mark in comparison.
Excellent breakfast at Swan buffet. Very healthy. Food has greatly improved at all the restaurants we visited while we at Disney. Good work.
Marathon was great, but there were many stretches when the road was narrowed so that passing or running were impossible. One example was the run through the Cinderella castle.
Location, convenience, cleanliness
Just showing its age a bit.
Easy access to Epcot, Hollywood Studios and other resorts with fine dining.
Just pay attention to billing issues. Our room was prepaid through booking.com so we only had to pay for parking. That confused several people at the front desk.
The close proximity to Hollywood studios and epcot
Having to pay to park even in self parking
Convenient, excellent food and an oasis of calm after the c h as of disney.
Only drawback was a family that let their 4 children scream, run around and eventually fall over a railing. The staff moved with puropse to feed them and hustle them out with grace.
The boat man who have already seen us in the port and other guests , but he did not want to let us board the ship and left. So we have to wait for another boat.
Just did not feel welcoming, nothing specific ....
General atmosphere was excellent. Beautiful landscape, lobby area, great restaurants.
(1) Size of room, bathroom, closet space was very small even for just 2 of us. Upgrade of decore of room is desirable. (2) Sound proof between rooms should be improved. (3) Shuttle bus service to ESPN Sports Complex should be added.
We had a wonderful stay and were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded in our room. While we were only on the second floor and only had an interior view of a fountain it was still very nice. The gentleman who checked us in at reception was extremely friendly and welcoming and went out of his way to make our stay special. The pool was beautiful but we wished the waterslide had been open past 5pm which seemed a little early. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we would return.
We wished the waterslide at the pool was open past 5pm.
Love to go breakfast with the characters. My son was so exited
We loved the proximity of the hotel to the theme parks and the amenity of shuttle buses that took us to/from the parks. We had dinner at the Italian restaurant downstairs; that was delicious. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very hospitable and wanted to make sure we were as comfortable as possible.
The boats that took us to epcot:))
The working hours of the small coffee shop.. It's better if there is a service 24 hours and the restaurants in the hotel better to be opened until late time as many ppl start to hv dinner after the parks close
It is a very nice hotel with a very good location. However the decor of the Dolphin and the scenery is much better. I was left wondering, why I spent more money at the Swan than that offered at the Dolphin. But the perks is that you get to enjoy both, as it is a buy one get one free kind of deal, except to sleep at the one you bought.
The restaurant Kimono food was really good, but for the price the food is way too small.... Imagine, spending $15 on shrimp and only getting TWO!!! Shrimp. My 5 year old ate the two and was asking for the rest. Other than, it was a really nice place.... Food is expensive, but I'd definitely recommend the hotel.
Staff at graden groove, staff at the reception, very welcoming.
House keeping was called to do the rooms, also have to tell them sometimes to clean properly.
The hotel used to be owned by Disney so the grandiose is still there.'
No longer affiliated with Disney, charged $20.00 for parking not valet parking just simply parking your vehicle in a lot. Room was not ready at 3pm check-in it took until 4:20pm. Room was by elevator and we heard elevator ding and people laughing all hours of the morning. Coffee pot was not cleaned previously hot water was brown.
the pillow covers never were replaced the bed sheets never were replaced
Disney bands were not part of the Disney resort system
Self Parking fee of $28 per day
beds were very comfortable. starbucks coffee in the room was excellent. Bottled water in rooms was excellent also.
lighting in the rooms especially bathroom was poor.
The water in the shower was cool/warm,not hot enough for me
The quiet and somewhat isolated location. It is close enough and yet far enough away from all the hustle and bustle of the activity across the water.
A simple sit down 24 hour restaurant.
