Score from 625 reviews Very good
Hotel was tastefully decorated and really enjoyed the boutique feel.
The only thing I could think that could improve was variety of TV channels...terrible selection and no guide, but I didn't go for the TV so didn't really matter!
....but not the wifi
Just a couple of blocks from Union Square. Really accessible.
There was a power outage and the hotel was not prepared for the emergency.
Older hotel, nicely renovated and conveniently located. Staff members (front desk, housekeeping, restaurant) were cheerful, attentive and went an extra measure to be helpful and welcoming throughout our stay.
position and helpful staff.
There appeared to be a disconnect between Booking.com and the hotel. Booking.com advised me of an upgrade to a suite - but the hotel was unaware of this. Even when the upgrade was allocated, it did not comply with the description supplied by Bookin.com
Right in Union Square, lots to eat on the same block. Staff super friendly. A bar and restaurant downstairs, tried the bartender's concoction of something, delicious, but I can't remember what it was called.
Old building, smelled a bit like garbage at times, had to move rooms and one day plumbing from another room backed up and we had black residue in our sink. Called housekeeping and they cleaned it up right away, but wish it was cleaned before we got back or at least notified.
Had a great stay at the Warwick. The staff were extremely helpful and exceeded my expectations. - They gave us a free room upgrade for our honeymoon - One of their staff (Jesse) helped us carry our 6 bags to our room and even down a flight of stairs. He did so with a smile and left before we had a chance to leave a tip. - We were greeted each time we walked past the lobby when we were leaving and returning. Overall had a very pleasant stay. The hotel staff made all the difference In my opinion. Keep it up!
Bed, location, staff Easy safe, cosmetics nice
No grab rail in shower-dangerous. Marble floors in bath and sink area slippery- dangerous No complimentary slippers-thin robe Difficulty with thermostat amex Bill higher than paid bill-why?
located at a great location, very close to the union square, if you love shopping, it could be a good choice.
i was upgraded to a beautiful corner room with windows on two sides; there was a window even in the bathroom
the sink emptied very slowly
Comfort of room, the Europe bar and kindness of staff.
Noisy area - not much the hotel can do. Rooms are a bit on the tiny side but it's an historical building.
Clean comfortable room, very friendly and professional staff.
No work out facility and rather lous even though we had a room towards the back of the hotel and away from the street.
Good location 2 minutes to union square Friendly staff
No nice view and the room had bad smell
The location.Right next to Union Square and in the heart of everything. Any famous attraction, like Chinatown, union sq shopping, Coit Tower etc are within walking distance. So are major restaurants. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. We got upgraded to a suite which was a pleasant surprise and the room was very spacious and comfortable.
There was a funny smell in the room which stayed throughout. The soundproofing is not great. Facility wise there is not much in the hotel and has a relatively small lobby. But if you dont need much services in the hotel itself, this is a good stay.
The hotel was very clean, stylish, and the room very comfortable. Location was convenient. Nice toiletries.
We had booked a suite, but when we checked in they couldn't find our reservation, and put us in a standard queen room. That was fine, the room was quite spacious. But when we checked out they had charged us for the suite, and when we alerted them they only took $40 off our bill, instead of the $65 difference. Also, I tried to get a drink at the bar at around 4:40, and the bartender rudely told me that they didn't open until 5 and were just setting up, even though someone else had a drink in front of them.
location free drink upon arrival free wifi friendly staff
no breakfast included
Quietness of room. Comfort of bed and pillows.
Size of room. Size of bathroom. View of alley.
The staff were very courteous and professional. The room was clean and comfortable.
We booked a Grand Suite with a Queen bed and got a Corner Suite with a Double bed. I am not sure if it was supposed to be an upgrade or a downgrade, but I would have liked to get the room I paid for.
Really was good experience wouderful staff clean room You can park ur car just next to building and get ur card stamped from the hotel so u will get 50% discount Overall very good experience
room is very noisy with tiny bed uncomfortable for two No meal option TV channels boring all advertisement with pay per movie service which is overpriced
Room design, location, cleaness
valet parking supposed to be 42 USD / night finally we were charged additional 17 USD for oversized vehicle without being informed upfront
Modern and stylish, in the center
The majority of windows overlook the street and the cross-road. You can hear everything, people talking, car signaling. You will not sleep.
Loved everything :staff, location , facilities. The restaurant Aveline is fantastic , go for the Crab Macarons!
Staff were very friendly, location was brilliant. Room was lovely and surprisingly spacious. We expected it to be more compact.
The restaurant was lovely but good food doesn't need to be overly fussy. Service was also a little fussy. Excellent service has just the right balance of attentiveness and space. I think they are trying too hard with this. In saying that we had a lovely meal and enjoyed a few drinks I the bar afterwards.
Hotel staff was super nice and all the restaurant tips were great. Would go back for sure
The staff was extremely friendly and were very attentive. The decor was great and the hotel was updated beautifully. There was a great bar in the lobby with plenty of seating and a good restaurant attached.
The hotel is a long walk down to Fisherman's Wharf and there was a weird smell in the hallways and room. Not sure if it is the cleanser that they use but it smelled liked a diaper pail. I'll never be able to forget it.
