The room I was in was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet for facing a busy street. Street cleaning between 4-6 pm is highly inconvenient if you have a car and you're trying to check in at that time. Staff seemed ill-equipped and too incompetent to deal with this issue: even though they had the keys to my car and only one other family was checking in, they kept calling me to come and move my car within two minutes of carying my bags up to my room. |

Location location location! Couldn't have stayed at a more convenient hotel. Have already recommended hotel to friends who are heading to SF in June. Only dislike was the check-in girl who didn't appear to know what she was doing, it was frustrating. |

Very helpful and efficient staff and close to Union Square with related amenities Not so much the hotel as San Francisco where there are a large number of street dwellers particularly in the surrounding area |

It's downtown location and easy access to public transportation. Customer Service with staff was excellent! Uncomfortable beds (not truly King size & felt old) and extremely soft pillows, also 6:00 am daily wake up noise coming from garbage trucks picking up trash bins in the back area of the hotel where our room was facing. |

Location & decor & price. Also, fellow at the desk was very fair to offer a credit for parking when it took an hour for valet to return car. He offered before I had to complain and I appreciate his initiative. A bit sparse on warm blankets, pillows, and towels. A lot of hotels are using those light, fluffy duvets now...those are very nice and I recommend those. In the interest of the environment, I reused my towel but it didn't dry overnight in the SF dampness...wished I had requested new towels. We did enjoy our stay, though ! |

the staff was friendly and helpful. the location was perfect and within walking distance of ecletic cafes, restaurants and places we wanted to visit on our trip. we also felt safe walking around in that area which is always a plus. we were close to bus stops and cable car lines too. it made our trip that much more enjoyable. it got a little noisy when the next room turned on their water. i think maybe the plumbing is old, however the noise never lasted more than a few minutes. street noise we expected, and there was some of that as well. |

1) L'estrema cortesia di tutto il personale dell'albergo (concierge, reception, ecc.); 2) la posizione dell'albergo, centralissima ma nel complesso silenziosa; 3) il fatto che la colazione si possa fare in albergo a un costo aggiuntivo modesto (10 USD); Non ne ho trovati....e io sono una persona molto, molto critica. |

Hotel sympa, un peu vieillot. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et d'un bon rapport qualité prix. Le personnel est sympathique. Hotel bien situé, juste à côté de Union Square Le côté un peu viellot a son charme pour une nuit ou deux, mais pour un séjour plus long un autre hotel peut tout aussi bien faire l'affaire. Canalisation bruyante. |

bien que sombre (donnant sur mur), chambre spacieuse, bien agencée et meublée (bureau pour travailler, fauteuil ...,) beaucoup mieux que la plupart des hotels de même catégorie. Hotel très bien situé. Petit déjeuner extra, mais " au menu", pas de formule buffet. Qq bruits de la rue, pas vraiment problématiques. |

Die sehr zentrale Lage und Nähe zu Times Square, Market Street, Ferry etc. war sehr vorteilhaft für all unsere Ausflüge. Die Mitarbeitenden am Hotel-Desk waren unterschiedlich zuvorkommend. Eine Concierge war sehr nett und hat für uns Restaurantplätze reserviert, Kinoplätze und Taxi für den Rückflug. Ebenfalls sehr fein war das Silvestermenu im hoteleigenen Restaurant. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Das angebotene Frühstück ist viel zu teuer für das was man erhält. Den Grüntee dazu musste man extra bezahlen und kostete $ 3.00! Im Starbucks zwei Häuser weiter bekam man qualitativ viel besseren Grüntee, die doppelte Menge für $ 1.25. |
