Able to get room nice and hot in the fridgid cold.
The extra charge for more than one person. The small size of towels. The strong smell of cigarette smoke.
Thought the room was clean at first but after a splitter in the foot and a closer look at the floor realized it was not. There were wood chips or brush all over the floor and same material found in bedding. Sheets were stained.
A decent port in a (snow) storm. Manager was excellent. I was a running very late and he phoned me on the road to say he had left a key in an accessible place for me.
As usual with low end places, the heater was VERY noisy.
Dirty, curtians didnt work , sheets did not look like they were washed in quite awhile. Piece of glass on floor, used bar of soap in bathroom drawer. Was charged a dollar more than what i booked for not that a dollar is anything but its the point you are given a price and then when you get there they tell you its not right. Would not stay near this place, people beware.
It was 0.8 miles from The Lodge at Echo Lake, where a friend was getting married.
We have to believe the rooms hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The towels were dingy and used. There were other people's hair all over the bathroom and on the pillows. One room had empty beer cans on the floor.
The bathroom wasn't properly cleaned, the shower was dirty... The WiFi didn't work none at all even when I went to the person in charged the problem want fixed...
Air conditioner had a bad smell like brake cleaner. had to shut it off, was causing headache and nasal congestion. The water faucets were opposite of what they normally would be.
It was quiet, and the sheets and beds were clean.
The bathroom smelled dirty, like it hadn't actually been cleaned especially around the toilet. There was no soundproofing - thin walls. The price was high for this. I guess charging what the market will bear! We needed a place close to my son's camp so that we could pick him up.
This was a total dive! Beds were dreadful ... Saggy with no support. Sheets and towels were thread-bare. Absolutely horrible. When I woke up in the morning the bathroom had flooded and leaked into rug in bedroom. Gross!
This was the worst experience I had in my entire life!!! My son and myself met up for a ski weekend at Gore. We stayed at Route 9 Budget Inn... My son woke me up in the middle of the night jumping up and down, his arm and leg swollen up like swaps bit him. Turned the lights on and guess what! The beds were infested with bed bugs!!! I woke the stuff up, i woke the owner up. Demanded to get big plastic bags to put all our clothes in them. We stripped down, everything put into double bags, we put on the clothes we found in the car. No coats, no shoes (they all in plastic bags) we left the hotel and raced home to get disinfected. The owner offered another room on the phone (!!!! another room!!!!) and told us there are no bedbugs in his hotel. We got the hotel refund, but we lost our vacation, lost the 3 days lift tickets, lost all the clothes which didn't make 4 hot drier cycles, lost the time we drove up, lost the gas and lost the faith. Do yourself a favor and speed up when you get close to the Route 9 Budget Inn hotel on Main Street!!
It was warm
We got to the office and no one was there. Turned out they were asleep. When she showed up, she didn't know how to run the credit cards. . . In general, poor administration and service.
The woman on the premises taking care of the rooms and checki-in was very nice, and attempted to help with all of the room's issues.
Room was 50 degrees, and only increased to 53 in 1.5 hours. There were several dead bees on the windowsill (December). The water ran a rusty brown color for the first 5-10 minutes of constant running. There was a light bulb out in the ceiling light, but no bulb to replace it. The rocking chair was too rickety to sit in. We checked out after 2 hours, and after a few phone calls, our money was refunded.
Long wait to find someone to check in with; their machine didn't work, they had to take my check-in material to lake george to be processed; I didn't get any paperwork back (I don't need it) but I hope I am not charged twice for this stay. Other than that, the place was fine.
Large room with comfortable beds.
There was no hot water in the morning!
Close proximity to mountains & lakes
Door lock hard to open. During check-in, thought room was paid for by info I provided on-line, it was not! No cups for water. Little tiny bar of soap..overall , not what I expected for one night @$99.99
The size of the room and the little kitchennet
Broken bathroom towel rack empty beer can in trash on arrival no windows. Elton mildew
