It was 10 o'clock when we checked in and there was 4 cop cars parked all sorts of ways in the drive way and entrance. ( that should've been my clue to leave) The man behind the front desk was kind. Walked to my room and heard lots of other people laughing and fooling around and there were doors open and people sitting in the hall way. But I couldn't get in my room... I Tried severely times before calling front desk and the young boy came up to help me. Turns out the door handle has to be turned completely up not down. Broken? Opening the door I was hit with a wave of stale cigarette smoke. Absolutely disgusting. I was for sure the bed had bugs but I couldn't find any. That is how grossed out I was. I slept uncomfortably on the rock hard mattress with only a sheet bc who knows what I would've caught if I had used the 40 year old comforter. I couldn't wait to shower in the am to get rid of the filthy germ from the bed only to see a pile of shaved hair on the wall..... That did it for me. I packed my stuff up and marched down to the office and asked for a full refund. The manager, wearing a zip up Mickey mouse sweat shirt (very professional) never even asked what was wrong, what she could've done to help, she didn't ask or question me at all. Just handed me my refund papers and I left. I will never ever ever stay in this motel. And I will make sure I tell everyone I know in the area to pass the word along. So unprofessional from the staff to the quality of the rooms.
There is not one thing I liked abut my stay.
The walkways were not shoveled at all, the parking lot was a sheet of ice, the beds were incredibly uncomfortable.
The person that checked us in was very nice
The parking lot was poorly plowed
There was people fighting next door banging and yelling.didnt get no sleep.my pregnant girlfriend was uncomfortable
no king size rooms
Good price for the quality
The room smelled from the start. And the bus line ended in the area. Not hotels fault. Just poor location
They left us alone
Night staff No breakfast or free wifi Inside looked like an institution
Hotel reeked of weed, we found a flee in our bed, very little tv stations
Price Not far from where we had to go
I have stayed at comparable Motel franchises in the area, and albeit basic, they were tastefully furnished, clean and comfortable. This Motel was sorely lacking, needing an upgrade desperately. Furnishings were very dated, springs were felt in the flimsy mattress, bathroom dingy, room smelled musty. I have paid $70,00 at other Motels and was much more pleased with the accommodations. Not worth the price.
I liked the proximity to downtonwn Providence from I-95, close to the airport.
No soap or shampoo, no hair dryer in bathroom. No refrigerator for medication. Extra charge for wifi.
First when I arrived there where cops dealing with a situation...should have just turned around then. Check in was fine, lady was nice. Went to room..opened the curtain and there was a beer can on the heater, turned down bed and there was hair in my bed, and there was chewed gum on the floor. Clearly the people who clean this place need a refresher on what to look for. I won't go back there.
Made a reservation for nonsmoking and was told that they gave it away. That other people checked in before us (mind you it was only 5 pm) and all the nonsmoking rooms w two beds were taken. Why the hell did I make a "reservation" if the hotel was going to take my money and then NOT Reserve my room!!! I reserved a two bed nonsmoking room. It was given away and I was offeredoffered either a one bedroom nonsmoking or a two bedroom smoking. I wasn't going to sleep in same bed as my male travel companion or sleep in a smoking room. I have asthma! We had to drive 2 1/2 hours home to NH at midnight because we were attending a wedding. My travel companion could not drink and relax at the wedding and take taxi to hotel!! It just sucked and threw a wrench in our entire night. And I'm still shocked I made the reservation weeks earlier and the day of the wedding it was given away. And that the staff wsd just following the managers orders. Terrible customer service.
It was cheap
The bad: Musty sour odor in the room as if there had been water damage in the recent past. Grounds unkempt with someone's dirty old toothbrush and lots of old cigarette butts on the ground just outside the side entrance near our room which were there for the two days we stayed, meaning no one from the motel staff was picking up litter for at least those 48 hours.
The good: Appreciate the economy. Just needed a clean room to sleep in.
Ever thing was fin
No bar or lounge but a great pub next store.
Bed box springs squeaky and needs new mattress.
Convenient, clean and economical. Excellent at registration and nice.
Rooms smelled of urine. Facilities were just not up to par. Even the hallway smelled.
I stayed in motel 6 for 8 days. The third day I found the price decrease, so I went to the reception desk and asked a young man if my room price will decrease with motel 6 price, if not I will check out. He took my room card and check it, then he told me my room price will decrease with the price of motel 6. I trust him and stay for 8 days. But when I checked out yesterday, I was told my room price can't decrease with motel 6 price and the young man is new in motel 6. I was disappointed, and I have to pay unreasonable price. I was cheated by motel 6!
The ceiling looked like it could have used a little work in a few spots and the bath tub/curtain had hair on it that was definitely not mine, since I hadn't showered yet. I was woken up at 3 am by people fighting down the hall, who then moved outside, ironically next to my car and my window. It didn't last too long so I didn't call the front desk. In retrospect maybe I should have, but I had to be up early and just wanted to get back to sleep.
Front desk staff was very friendly. I appreciated the quick check in because I arrived late and was tired. Bed was comfortable and the room looked clean.
The mattress was old, I mean old with the springs on the edges. Bathtub had water ring and the ledge around the tub and where one puts shampoo and such had not been cleaned for a long time. Faucet was filthy on sink.
Room was large and clean, As a whole the room was quiet. The bedding was also clean. The staff was very pleasant.
Nothing gross motel
Beds and TV need to be replaced.
Our room did not have a refrigerator.
The place is nice and clean. The staff is extremely friendly and professional.
Pay the extra money. Stay anywhere else. BED BUGS!!!#
