Nightmare... just avoid...
Requested roll away bed and hair dryer that never arrived, no Qtips, cotton balls etc
Cool decor, healthy on trend food
They should have more food at the restaurant. .
I loved everything. ..location was great...stuff also..I was rally happy to stay there. .Thank you
Elevators were not working most of our stay. Front lobby was leaking due to rain. Bar staff ridiculously slow.
Location good, front desk staff very helpful.
The elevators are the last remaining item that needs upgrading.
The area is amazing and the hotel has been through a luxorious renovation. The bakery/coffee bar is great and my room was very contemporary
You could easily hear people talking in the hallway and the loud closing of doors. It mainly happened during the morning and didn't disrupt our stay too much
The rooms were very spacious and we loved the location. The hotel just underwent remodeling so everything is new, which is great.
We got a great last minute deal for our room, which was a way for us to get out of our less ideal accommodations. The place looks fantastic and it really made us feel like we were on a luxury vacation. The staff was incredibly friendly and the location was great.
Parking is bit expensive (46+tax overnight), no fridge in the room, renovated but still a bit old facility with some mechanical noise in the room
just 2 mins from the dupont circle, competitive price, walking distance from most of attractions, recently renovated, very kind staffs, modern lobby lounge bar
No room service and you are required to pay for wifi even if you don't use it! The hotel would be better off just raising the rates the same amount. Same effect, but seems more honest.
The hotel was newly remodeled, very clean and comfortable.
Pillows for a king size bed were too small. Renovations are well done in some ways and in other areas have been skipped (i.e. Not upgrading the hardware on the doors, painting over old and damaged moulding, etc.). Also the HVAC system is loud because it has not been upgraded.
Great location, boutique feel, accommodating and very friendly staff, responsive manager, and nice design.
Everything about hotel 1000 was exceptional. The staff were as accommodating as could be and the rooms perfection
It was barely a hotel at all -- more like an active construction site that had a few rooms that they allowed people to stay in. It was, in the parlance of my dad, a dump.
It was cheap. Period.
Cuter than the pic online! Close to the subway and lots of restaurant!
Daughter's room had connecting door with the next room (with people they did not know) - sound proofing poor they could hear every word and tv next door. Wifi was 9.95 per day feel this should be mentioned at check-in.
Lovely comfortable room. Spotless as newly renovated. Still not finished but nearly there.
The noise and the phone that disconnected when receiving a call.
The location and staff.
The pillows were more decorative than comfortable and the room we stayed in only had a shower (no bath tub). The construction/remodeling was a little annoying, but I know this is something that has to happen from time to time.
The location near the Metro station and several affordable dining options was what we liked best.
Loved the location and convenience. We moved to this hotel after a poor experience and it was a breath of fresh air. Close to town but in the trendy DuPont area, and the staff and rooms were a delight. Highly recommend this hotel - it transformed our experience in Washington.
They had no microwave in the entire hotel
Very friendly staff
Temp control not working well, cool in evening. Abnd no roof top viewing
Clean and comfortable bed. Good morning coffee
Hotel staff was great. The food was wonderful.
Hotel was undergoing renovation and system changes all at the same time. This presented some problems like a non-functioning heater on the first room. We asked for a change which because of full booking couldn't be made until next day. Staff was friendly, if a little inexperienced and on-training for the new system. We had a good price for the rooms but the original price being way higher I expected no problems and all comfort during my stay.
The hotel is almost brand new, with nice decor and design, friendly staff. Location is excellent, few yards from DuPont circle. Near a lot of good places to eat in streets nearby. It's a bit of a stroll but you can actually walk to major attractions like the white house and such.
For the price I paid, I was expecting some jenky back alley hole in the wall. When the cab pulled up, I had to check the address to make sure he was at the right place. This hotel exceeded all expectations. There was some construction going on in the main lobby, but it didn't interfere with the bar or with the food service. The staff was super pleasant, and we're very conscious of the food allergy my niece had and told me what did and didn't contain nuts. We had a great trip and if I return to the dc area, I'll for sure be staying here.
My room did not have a hair dryer and there was a dog in a room down the hall that barked constantly.
I loved the location and the remodeling and decorating.
