Club Quarters in Washington DC is a new concept for the hotel industry. This private, full service hotel overlooks Farragut Square, and is 2 blocks north of the White House, and near Lafayette Square....

Friendliness of staff and variety of meals.
Paying for breakfast
Close to the Metro. Secure parking, staff was nice, rooms were clean.
Price for parking a little high. Price for the room was also a little high, they were nothing great just a standard room.
Every thing clean and comfortable and you have wary nice staff, in my opinion this is the most important thing.
Everything!! The staff were excellent. Went out of their way to make sure all our needs were met. Could not have asked for a better experience.
Nothing. Everything was excellent
Location was excellent Comfy Rooms Great Breakfast
Nice hotel in a nice area
A little far from the National Mall especially with young kids
Free Wi Fi Free laundry
Lumpy pillows Expensive breakfast
Free coffee Free Laundry
Everything was fine. Was there for the weekend only.
All staff we came in contact with were efficient, polite, friendly and eager to please. The hotel was clean and in a great location.
The 2 bed rooms only have double instead of queen beds and are a little squishy. Not good when there is 4 adults in the room
Best Value for location
The location was good but u need maps for walking to different locations with exact distances
A rude male waiter did not like that i gave a 15 percent tip n he said behind my back as i was leaving " bring more money next time". If my wife had not been with me i would have called the manager n made a bad scene in front of all.
The breakfast buffet was amazing.
The hotel was older and needed some updating.
Location. Room service compensates for lack in maintenance, they keep the rooms clean. Power jacks in lamps to load devices.
Needs renovation and lacks maintenance (just an example: ice cube maker on the floor did not work and wasn't repaired despite reports by guests). Overall, it's somewhat shabby impression results mostly from insufficient maintenance. Breakfast was not possible on both days, waiting time at 9:30a was "min. 30 minutes" (according to staff).
Location, Comfortable and Clean Rooms, Good deal for the Cost
Whats not to like?
Staff was helpful and friendly. The location was good and not too far from the attractions.
The close proximity to the sites we wanted to see.
The pool was very cold. For being in the sun all day, you would have thought the water would have heated up a little.
It was a good budget hotel
We arrived at the hotel about 7:30 am after an all night flight from San Francisco. Thinking we would have to wait for check in at 3, we asked if we could leave our luggage and return later. To our great surprise they had a room ready for us. We were thrilled. After a little breakfast and some sleep, we were ready to take on the city.
If you like walking a good hotel to walk to white house and the mall
We took a shared transport from Washington Dullas airport which dropped us at the hotel. The hotel is in a good and safe location for exploring Washington. Good size airy and quiet bedroom. Receptionists and Door Man very helpful getting taxis etc. In the evening it was only a short walk to the rear of the White House which was a good time to go as it was lit up and not thronging with other tourists. We ate in the hotel the first night and had a good meal. Breakfast was busy, but a good selection and one day the chef was preparing fresh omelettes, unfortunately this did not appear to be a regular feature. As we had limited time in Washington we did not have much time to explore the local area, but by turning left out of the hotel a short walk took you to an area with good shops, bars ATM's and plenty of places to eat and soak up the local atmosphere. Wi-Fi was free. There was a pool on the roof which would have been good if we had the time to relax. Guests with children ( it was the summer holidays and very hot) appeared to be taking advantage of this facility.
Having prepaid for breakfast we were not prepared for the American system of adding 15%- 20% tip to everything, when we were presented each morning with a bill to add the gratuity for a buffet style breakfast. Not exactly a dislike, but be warned, American bacon is served crisp, which I like, but in the hotel I would describe it as hard, and I lost a filling as result!! I had noted comments about the lifts, this could be a problem. As we were on the 4th floor and fit, we invariably used the stairs.
Good overall service!
Housekeeping did not always replace used/depleted soap. Elevator was crazy slow!
Joe , Joy & Larry were the best ! You needed anything they were there. When we arrived we had no shower curtain. We went to the front desk and told them. We went to see rhe pool & went straight to our room (10 min) and we had a shower curtain.
No frig. The parking is under the hotel and kind of creepy. Kids eat free but the breakfast buffet is $7.00. The Holiday Inn in Niagara Falls it was free.
