The staff was rude. It is a costly hotel, without offering free wi-fi connection to its customers. It is located in an average neighbourhood of downtown Washington D.C.
Room and location
Bistro Breakfast experience was poor. Food was nothing special despite being cooked to order as the buffet breakfast was not available due to the hotel being light on guests
Close proximity to the bus station .staff was courteous .
Had no internet No refrigerator
Very clean, friendly staff, restaurant was very nice, ideally situated for our puposes
We were on the fourth floor and people were partying and making alot of noise from midnite to about 4 am. This was on a monday nite. We were unable to sleep due to this commotion. Help knocked on door at 8:30am even though they should know we had not checked out.
The staff was outstanding. Everyone we encountered was extremely courteous & friendly just a delight. Loved the location close to Union Station, the Capital & some museums.
It was a bit noisy surprised could hear so much street noise being on the 14th floor.
Location. Service of Personnel
To charge 11$ per day for WiFi is not acceptable. Most hotels provide this for free
The location - as we traveled from NYC by train this hotel being 5 minutes walk from Union Station was very good Breakfast - excellent choice (not that many places to go else where though) Rooms are nice and big with comfy beds
Free wi-fi is only in the lobby. Have to pay in your room
The front staff and concierges where the absolute best. Always enjoyed their help with directions and suggestions. The beds were very comfortable and room was clean.
The day we checked out was our only encounter with the bartender and he had such an attitude. My husband wrote an email about him to you all. He was more concerned with getting his stuff set up for the day then anything else. Their was a table of people and was abrupt with them also. We only wanted a different game on the TV. We weren't asking for much.
Very friendly staff
Excellent food at reasonable prices
I enjoyed the meal that I had in their restaraunt.
As soon as I walked into the room there was a bad smell. I didn't care for the strong detergent smell of the sheets. The bath towels are so small I couldn't even wrap it around myself.
beds are too big
Convenience of the location
Small crack in the bathroom tile and the wall by the closet
location, lobby, the room is large, comfortable desk, coffee maker, comfortable bed, good large bathroom
The heating system (blowing cold air in its heating process), however the bed area is not on its way
The hotel was great as was the location.
Smell in the morning not good
Location is good, and the room is nice
We booked and paid two nights in this hotel two weeks before arriving DC, but when we check in, the staff told us there is NO room for us and transferred us to another nearby hotel with same quality. And the second day we need to repack our luggage and come back to recheck-in. This waste our 2 hours and disturbed our plan. Consider we only have one whole day to stay in DC, this is really boring.
Paying for parking, too expensive
So the hotel lobby was nice and designed in a beautiful way. Hotel location helped me a lot getting around the city easily, near Wachington Union Station and National Mall and many other good places. The room was really large for two people and more than enouph for your normal needs. Also, it was clean and organized. Staff were good and treated us in good and nice manners.
The only issue I count it as a negative point is the pirce of the room, overall it deserves less than I paid for by 20% to 30%.
Great Location. Friendly Staff. Comfort. Clean.
Nice hotel and good Irish Pub and food.
Spacious bedroom Breakfast had lots of choice Closeness to train station
Long distance to entertainment / restaurants in town
Excellent appearance Great location Comfortable bedding Great gift shop Friendly staff
Outrageous wifi cost per day, I can't believe it's not included in such a pricy hotel Parking was also extremely expensive $46 per day/night
Location! Sense of security and safety are evident, room size is pleasant and bed is comfortable. Stays over a number of years have generally been excellent.
Sloppy cleanliness. Dusty lamp bases, streaky, sloppy wiping of brass plates at elevators, and attention to general cleanliness in common spaces not up to par for the cost of the stay.
Beds and room were quite comfortable.
Bathrooms showing some wear. Staff at the desk were marginally nice. The bell staff was rude except one guy who nearly made up for the rest. Took an exceptionally long time to get our car.
