The line manager and his people were living in a parallel universe. They call their shuttle service a courtesy one, however they managed to keep us on the curbs of the street after a business meeting for two hours. It took me at least 30 minutes of international roaming calls to try to get them to pick us up or even to order us a taxi, which we would happily pay for. The line manager said "I am not in the taxi ordering business". With such an attitude, I was wondering how he can be in any kind of business!!! So much about helping out a let down client of theirs. It was like talking to lobectomic people, a sheer nightmare. First they promised us to pick us up in 15 min, when - of course - I had to call them back, because they put the phone down on me without a normal confirmation, than on my second call, they confirmed. Than I called them back after waiting 30 min, where the shuttle was, and they said it will be there in 20 min, starting out in a few minutes... They never answered to the question, how can it be 20 min when it was 15 min 30 min ago? Than I cancelled, but called back within 2 minutes as figured out I can't get a taxi on the street and asked for the shuttle again and they quoted an extra hour telling me all kinds of different reasons. When complaining, they kept put me on hold -international European roaming, mind you, - and kept passing me to each other. The front line manager put me first on hold, than after 5 min, after my first sentence, he cut me off and transferred me to a colleague, who after I told her what I wanted and explained the whole story, transferred back to the manager without any action or comments. I have talked to 6 different people, and they kept ping-pong-ing me between themselves, spicing it up by putting me on hold various times, without making a single decision or complying with my request of at least call a cab for me.
The bar staff was outstanding, charming and very accommodating. The rooms were spacious and nice.
