Restaurant food. Poor selections and poor quality.
Your hospitality and friendly staff.
Circulator bus just outside door made travel to Downtown simple
The comfy beds!
The front desk lady was kinda rude.
The location was excellent and you could walk to major stores plus the buses ran pretty much all the time. It was clean and comfortable. The concierge was very nice and helpful. The housekeeping and room service were efficient
For the price, they could have considered giving complimentary breakfast. The cost of parking was a bit steep and exploitative at $30 per night. I ended up spending 4 nights so you do the maths. The staff acted put upon when you were making enquiries from them which was quite annoying and I had to move to a new room for my last night. They were unable to accommodate me at my old room. That was a bit of a drag. I left an item in the old room and till I left, no one in the lost and found department was available to give me any sort of information or help me find what I left.
Staff was very helpful. Rooms were clean and nice. Great value and central location for visiting Georgetown and/or American University areas. Breakfast was decent also. Location can't be beat!
The clock radio next to the bed was broken, so we couldn't tell what time it was. The bottom buttons on the phone were not connecting so I had to call the front desk everytime I needed something. Relatively minor issues. All else was good.
Rude staff at check-in.
I recently traveled to Washington DC on a four day trip and particularly enjoy staying at Georgetown, I needed a hotel that is in a near proximate to M Street where all the restaurants and stores are located, I therefore opted to stay at the Holiday Inn Georgetown, I honestly didn’t have much expectations, however, staff at the main desk were very accommodating and made may stay all the difference, they were pleasant and made sure that all my needs were provided, and due to my early arrival from a 13 hour international flight I arrived early at 0800am, they went there way and made sure that I was checked in, taking into consideration my long haul flight and undermining the official early check at 1400hrs with no extra charge or obligation, Miss. Marina Moyses in particular, that whom I owe my appreciation was extremely accommodating and pleasant, her positive demeanor and professional attitude made sure that I will certainly be a frequent guest and therefore recommend the Holiday Inn Georgetown to all. If you are considering sating at the Holliday inn Georgetown, make sure to ask for Miss. Miss. Marina Moyses, thank you Miss Moyeses for all your help
Rooms size, location, free shuttle to the metro station and pick up and to the big bus stop and pick up on my call.
The staff was not very corteous.
Service, staff especially Marina at the front desk, was both pleasant and informative.
Size of rooms Friendly staff Location/Shuttle Bus
Wifi was extremely slow
The room was beautiful, loved the separate master bedroom. Loved the location, close to a lot of things in Georgetown. A couple of bus rides away from White House etc. The kids loved this hotel and the pool.
Wish it wasn't so expensive. The parking is also expensive ($35). But, it was a really nice hotel and we would stay there again.
Great location if you plan to shop in Georgetown. Shuttle drivers were VERY friendly and helpful...willing to go out of there way for you. Not far from the metro and they provided a free shuttle to the metro.
Shuttle to the metro stops at 8:30 so if you plan on going to the Smithsonian Museums you have to be back by then or you will be stranded. Also, front desk told us we would not be able to take hotel shuttle directly to the National Mall, cut off time was 11:30 am (again they like to strand you) however; the shuttle drivers were willing to "overlook" that and help you in any way they could.
Helpful staff, nice breakfast buffet (kids eat free)
Bathtub was clean, but old. Pool was cold.
small fitness room
It's location and van that took me to nearby places. Staff was friendly. Room was comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable.
That you don't have pick up at the airport and that you don't have a continental breakfast included in the price.
We only stayed there two nights but your stay was comfortable, staff where very helpful and it was in a lovely location. But we didn't get the chance to walk around Georgetown itself but it looked really nice.. hopefully next time we visit. plus the pillows where super comfy...
We didn't actually find anything that we didn't like.
The room was clean and scent free. The staff that I met and dealt with were courteous and friendly. Complementary shuttle to the downtown was a plus.
There is quite a bit of traffic noise at night on the south west side of the hotel which may be annoying for those light sleepers.
The staff was friendly
$50 fee for incidentals per day. 4 days = $200 which was my food expenses. Bathroom smelled like raw sewage. Cable TV went fuzzy in 15 minutes. Pool not clean.
Great breakfast. Waitress was a sweetheart, very efficient.
Age of hotel Size of bed Room, particularly door condition
Attentive staff, good breakfast, comfortable bed. Price was affordable.
Its out of town, about $15-$20 cab ride from Union Station and a 15 minute walk from Georgetown shopping/dining.
