Washington Jefferson at Times Square  

Location good, staff friendly and tried to accommodate our requests. Good bed.

Room was large enough but insufficient storage space - closet but no dresser. No hooks, shelves in bathroom. Very noisy air-conditioner. No luggage rack, but it was supplied upon request.

The staff were friendly and attentive. The location is excellent, fairly close to Central Park, near lots of restaurants, and a block from the 51st St subway station.

The room was very small, with little elbow room at the desk, and a tiny bathroom. Some of the plumbing made strange banging noises every now and then. The building is basically old.

excellent staff. very helpful! we happened to get a very large room which was perfect for me and my daughter.

Everything :) The staff was so friendly, our room was very neat and clean. The only drawback was the old heating system, it would get a little warm at times but we just opened a window. They held our bag before and after check in/out.

The room was a bit tinny, but once it was only to rest, was ok. There's no frigo in the room.

I think one of the front desk managers were not as nice as he was supposed to be. The baggage handlers were really friendly as well as the other front desk managers. They were always very polite and helpful.

Reasonably priced for a great location! Hotel staff were helpful and kindly catered to our requests. The room came with free wifi and overall WJ is perfect for a short stay!

Wifi internet was not very stable and there was a draught from the window in our room.

My husband and I found the WJ Hotel to be an excellent value experience. We stayed in a premium room and found it to be very comfortable, though slightly short on storage space for a five day stay. Excellent shower room with very spacious shower, bed huge and very comfortable, and room service superb. Location for enjoying theatre and other Midtown/shopping experiences was ideal, and we specially enjoyed being so close to Central Park. Staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The only minor downside was street noise at the weekend, but it was Manhatten!

No complaints but bed could have been slightly smaller and wardrobe bigger.

This hotel was located conveniently close to subway lines and to the theater district and Times Square. So much within walking distance! Restaurants and Duane Reade (drugstore) and Riteaid also close. Room was small, but I was expecting that in NYC. Staff was friendly and polite. Hallways were a little narrow, dark, and carpet worn a bit, but I didn't mind since I was getting a good price on my room.

Old hotel with single and very slow elevator. Inflexible manager. Thin room walls - so the room was noisy. The hotel uses a bait and switch tactic it appears - provided a standard room which on booking.com was different from what I saw on booking.com. A room with no space around the bed! Housekeeping responded immediately when complained that it was hot - his solution was also quick - opened the window! Changed room - charged me extra and wanted me to stay two days for the lower additional charge. The upgraded room was heated by old heating vents, and cooled by window Air conditioner. It was dark - only three lamps and one window which cannot be opened (without compromising your privacy). No carpets in the hall way.

O quarto é pequeno, se você escolher uma cama de casal, mal conseguirá se movimentar; entretanto, dá para deixar as malas no banheiro, que é grande; a internet é rápida, mas nos horários de pico, a conexão cai várias vezes.

החדרים קצת קטנים, אבל במהלך היום מסתובבים בחוץ ומגיעים למלון רק לישון, אז זה לא כ"כ מפריע. היו שיפוצים במלון כשהייתי שם, אז היו פעמים שהמעלית הייתה תפוסה ואי אפשר היה להשתמש בה.

sehr kleines Zimmer, schlechte Klimatisierung. Heizung kann man nicht abstellen, Fenster geht nicht auf, Klimaanlage im Fenster muss laufen. sehr laut.
