professional staff, starbucks just by the lobby, very comfortable room
The staff was so friendly and accommodating from the very second we pulled up to the curb. The doormen couldn't have been any nicer.
This hotel is well priced for DC. The location was perfect for our visit (we went to a New Year's Eve concert at The Hamilton four blocks away). Everyone was very friendly and the room was large and clean. We will stay here again!
It is expensive to park a car at the hotel, but that seems to be the norm at hotels in most large cities.
The bed was hella comfortable for new years eve #TurnUp
Very friendly staff, excellent location
Breakfast, Overnight construction noise.
Pleasant, clean, nice facilities.
How can I spend more than 200$ a night and not have complementary wifi? Cheaper hotels usually include it in the cost, or at least only charge 5$. Charging a minimum of 13$ is absurd.
Location of hotel is handy to White House, museums and memorials. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of space.
The view in our rooms was bad
Everything was just about right. Great place to stay .
No complaints of any kind.
Room size, condition and decor. Very helpful staff - especially when I requested (two!) room changes due noise. Close proximity to Metro. Business center. General ambiance. The bright/cheerful carpeting! Bright & plentiful room lights - at last! Use of gym showers etc. after check-out for late departures. In drawer safe.
First 2 rooms offered - too much external noise from fan/air conditioner(?) outlets. (Triple-glazing would improve things). Poor 'free' wi-fi speed - yet constant reminder of costly high-speed wi-fi availability. Sofa stuck in front of window making curtain operation difficult. Swimming pool water very cold. Pay for bottled water in room. No master switch at bedside - have to get out of bed to turn lights off!
The room was incredibly clean, the bed was luxuriously comfortable, and there was in-house Starbucks in the lobby! Great for a pick me up before my mom and I headed out for the day. The location was great for walking. All our favorite restaurants were within a 1.5 mile radius (Easy walk). I could see myself staying here again.
My only issue was the $45 dollars just to have the car parked for 1 night. Additionally, there was a state tax added to the room fee. Again, one night stay. This pushed my bill from the stated $250 to $346. Not sure the extra ~$90 in fees was worth it.
The hotel is older and it shows. Parts of the lobby and public areas could have been better kept.
Everything - especially the cloud comfort beds!
The hotel's location is perfect for anyone who wishes to explore Washington, D.C.'s numerous museums and tourist attractions by foot. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay!
To be asked to pay such a hefty price to access the hotel's wi-fi network from our room was somewhat surprising, in this day and age. We accessed it from the lobby, but still...! We travel abroad at every year and almost always have that service provided in our rooms... in very nice hotels.
Restaurant and coffee shop.
You couldn't ask for better staff. They really care about their customers. The staff anticipated their guests needs and were waiting, and asking if you needed anything else. Location is close to the Metro and you have some sights within walking distance. I would select this hotel again.
Parking is expensive $50 /day,but you can go in and out as many times as you want. There are other parking garages that are near, but you may not have in and out access without paying every time.
The courteous and welcoming staff were genuinely interested in us and in our experience of visiting D.C. The location is excellent for access by public transport - adjacent to a Metro station, and the White House is just a short walk along the street, with numerous other sights and museums close by.
Wi-Fi in room too expensive (but free in the lobby and Starbucks).
Great location, friendly staff, baby travel crib set up for us etc great service.
Great hotel with good proximity to the metro. Room was nice as were the staff.
My grandson claims he saw a ghost in our room.
Staff was very nice, and the location excelent.
No buffet breakfast in weekdays.
