The air condition is not a central type so it is quit noisy

I found the Washington Plaza a great hotel for it's locations, rooms, cleanliness and kind of old school charm. Didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on it. I loved the rooms although they may be considered on the small side in the US.

The staff was the one downside to the stay in the hotel (with the exception of the lovely ladies that cleaned our rooms). Uninterested would be the best word I would use to describe some of the reception staff. Uninterested to the point that one of the gentlemen at reception was downright rude...

Plesent, quiet and perfect location so close to the white house.

I liked everything about the hotel; close to eateries, my daughter's school (Howard University),close to historical sights, and in a very good neighborhood.

Everything was very clean and everything worked. The room was quiet and bright, with a good view of the surrounding area.

Very nice, clean room with a great city view; very good location; the stuff was very helpful and polite; everything was great!

I like how close the hotel was to the metro station

I didn't like how the parking wasn't clear to us. We didn't know we were suppose to have the parking charged to our room. We were expecting to pay when we came out the parking garage and the person working that day was very rude

Staff was polite. Rooms were clean.

Need more places to eat closer.

The room & bathroom were very clean & the bed was very comfortable. I also felt safe at the hotel. Important as I was travelling solo. The price was much better than the surrounding hotels. Valet was cheap in comparison to surrounding hotels.

Nothing to do at the hotel. Would be nice if there were a cafe/coffee shop in the hotel. Restaurant/room service offerings did not entice me one bit.

This was an excellent hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much. The facilities were great and the staff were friendly and efficient. Within walking distance of metro and downtown area.

There was absolutely nothing not to like about this hotel.

Good location - easy walking distance to White House and National Mall. Metro close by - 24 hour CVS/Pharmacy on the corner. Very friendly staff we ate in the bar during our stay food was good but not great. Comfortable bed and clean rooms.

all the staff was friendly and very helpful..concierges went out of there way to get cab for us on sunday morning..everyone smiles there!

I liked the location; close to restaurants, shopping, a residential area and within walking distance of the city's attractions.

The spacious room, friendly room service, the salmon on the first evening, generous business center service

Gym, pool closed despite sunshine, the salmon on the last evening (supposed to be the same, but turned out not as deliciously prepared)

Very large room, comfortable bed, nice design, big windows, great price!

Showers were a little bit old but still clean.

The City, history, museums, etc.

The room (519) is much smaller than I thought and was probably the smallest on that floor. When I asked the staff was rude.

I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends. The breakfast was superb.
