Location, modern 50s feel, classy, very DC
Poor food from the bar
There was a big gap between the door and the floor. Light and noise was entering. Also, I had asked for a room far from the elevators, but was given a room next to them....
The staff was very helpful and the hotel was very well located.
Room next to the elevator
location of the hotel
the space of the room was great. We love the separation of dressing area from bathroom.
The breakfast is not included as part of the daily rate. You have to pay extra and was not worth the money. The daily rate is totally over price for this type of hotel. For this price you will get a much better hotel outside USA
It was close to the convention centre for my businees trip
DC seems like a noisy city , and our room was close to the elevator so there was some noise through the night, if your a light sleeper this might be a problem.
I usually stay at low budget hotels.Thats what I was expecting for 129.00 a night on a friday and Saturday in Washington DC. The hotel feels very upscale, from the lobby full of bellhops and doormen to the rooms with plenty of amenities , free daily newspapers delivered to your door, complimentary water each evening. They have a half roundabout entrance wich is off the street and comes in real handy when hailing a cab in the rain wich they will do for you.
Great parking, in and out is easy throughout your stay
On site parking and loved the seperate dressing room from bath and beds
Pricey, but fairly typical for dc.
The location was ideal for both work and sight seeing.
Faulty climate control (no heat), lots of street noise through the balcony door.
Comfy bed and pillows. Spacious bathroom. Good location.
Unfortunately the suite next to our single room on the 2nd floor had a party with outside guests. Every time the suite door opened a rush of crowd noise woke us up past midnight. Security spoke to them and the noise decreased. The hotel was not sympathetic when we brought this up at checkout.
Very efficient hotel.
Bed was uncomfortable
Only problem I had was paying 25 to park on top of a Parking tax fee
The beds are so comfortable and the room was nice size and clean
The fun bartender!
Parking charge wifi keep dropping Noise from traffic outside could be heard most of the night .
Location was perfect central to most of DC attractions Comfortable rooms
The only negative is that there's no clear sign to let you know you've arrived at the correct location.
Loved the great location and price. We were expecting an average room but it was clean and modern, and bathroom was well stocked. I will definitely return.
Beautiful facilities and proximity to DC's attractions.
there was no issue the only thing I can say is when booking I requested for a balcony and unfortunately I was not put in a room with the balcony option.
Closeness to attractions
There was nothing we didn't like.
The staff was excellent they helped with any questions we had. We got complimentary upgraded to a king size room and that was nice. Also liked the staff in the gift shop they were all very helpful. We plan on going back and will definetly stay in this hotel again. Also I left my phone in the room and when we got home I called them and they sent it very quick and were very kind and caring about my property.
Always ask for a room overlooking Thomas Square, we forgot this time.
The gym equipment could be updated
The location and the cleanness.
Very slow wifi; do not close to tube; no breakfast
