Washington Square Hotel

La posizione è strategica: al centro del Village, all'inizio della Quinta Avenue, metropolitana dietro l'angolo. Pieno di localini tutto intorno per tutti i gusti. Affaccia su Washington Square che è un piccolo parco molto carino e piuttosto defilato rispetto alle strade principali, pertanto non c'è rumore. Colazione soddisfacente inclusa nel prezzo, servizio buono, camere pulite e necessarie al pernottamento. Valido dunque per chi intende girare New York dalla mattina alla sera e utilizzare l'hotel come punto d'appoggio.

Nel complesso direi che non ci sono aspetti negativi.

l'accoglienza dello staff, la diffidenza e ostilità nei confronti del cliente. differente trattamento fra clienti giovani e in camera singola rispetto ad adulti e famiglie sia per il pagamento che per i servizi.

the food was excellent and sunday brunch and the jazz session was more than execllent and singers very friendly ,hotel had lovely atmoshere all the staff was very helpfull with directions and information on sightseening shopping also getting around

The location,ambience, food and in particular jazz brunch superb. Great help from staff in particular Robbie made our stay outstanding, would highly recommend

Only one minor fault, heating in bedroom was too high at times, would like some flexibility to adjust

The room was clean.

We had to pile blankets and pillows around the air conditioner because fridgid air blew in from the outside. It was a very cold night. Someone was supposed to come put a cover over it, but it never happened. Luckily we had warm coats to sleep under (aside from the extra blankets).

Friendly doorman, great location to shops and restaurants, comfortable rooms.

Reception staff were not that polite, the rooms where no ready at our arrival which was annoying after a long flight, had to wait an hour and half.

The location was the key, right by Washington Square and NYU. Breakfast was adequate. Staff were a mixed bag , some great some okay. It was very quiet and we didnt hear anything at night time even though we were right beside the door to stairs to the lobby. Liked that we could store our bags on the last day before our flight. Also there didnt seem to be the pressure to tip everybody there every 5seconds like in other hotels in the US. Was refreshing.

The only thing is that the bathroom wasnt very clean. We looked at 1 room before choosing another becuase there was a slightly musty odour in the first one we got, They didnt mind too much about switching us.

Location. The village, soho and 6th ave. for subway to uptown all real close. quiet area. sleep was easy to come by....breakfast included, not easy to find at many NYC hotels. A bit pricey but enjoyable none the less.

Bed. comfortable and big enough for 2, room not so, tight to move around in.

Nice, clean and very good location.

The hotel is nicely located in neighbourhood of NYU University featuring many nice and easy-to-go places for eating and bars. Reservation included complimentary breakfast including fruits, yoghurts, bagels and sweets.

Hotel staff at reception was not attentive during our stay, not giving you any word of welcome at entry or leaving

Location was great.
