Nothing because we were moved to another place.
Travelers that intend to reserve at Washington Suites must be informed that this apartment is a bait to fill at a high price less attractive apartments. Indeed, as at least 6 non-US travelers from September 9 to November 13 (see previous comments), we were informed by email, one day before the beginning of our stay, that our Washington Suites apartment was overbooked and that we had to move to another apartment: SOMA Place (also described by Booking.com). Although SOMA Place apartments are new, clean and not noisy, their main drawback is that they are located in a much less pleasant area than Washington Suites. Indeed, they are at one block from a part of Dowtown area named Tenderloin. Tenderloin streets are inhabited by numerous homeless and it is considered as an unsafe area. At one street from SOMA Place, the crossing between Market Street and 8th street is occupied by several tens of homeless. Because, we had to pay in advance at reservation the whole renting (including taxes and cleaning service) and because Washington Suites does not accept refunding, we were forced to accept SOMA Place apartment.
It is a beautiful new apartment. The view is outstanding. It is in a prime location.
The apartment was not ready when we arrived. We have to stay in another apartment in an other location for the first night.
The location Modern decorated and modern machines, furniture, kitchen and perfect for a family of four.
It was a bit noisy from the cable car cause the windows are really thin and almost didn´t shut. Even the sound from neighbors feet and pluming was noisy during nighttime. I should have expected much more porcelain/China/cutlery in the kitchen because with small children you want to cook and eat at home.
Building close to SF downotwn
Staff approach: a lot of promise and no action. Very poor clean. They changed our location because went in overbooking. Very bad organization, we'll never use them again.
Description was not accurate as no views and photos on the site were not of apartment Very noisy as close to street, garbage collections directly under windows and door to garage very loud during evening Extremely overpriced for location and level of accommodation
The apartment looks just like the pictures. It was a four block walk to the Fairmont. The master bedroom looked over trees and a backyard. The building is well cared for and the apartment looks like it was recently redone.
The very steep hill the building is located on (silly - after all this is San Fran) ! The unit was on the fourth floor.
Delightful view. Excelent location. Neighbors a little bit noisy. I definitely go there again.
Good location near metro, White House. Modern, good condition and immaculate.
No tea, coffee etc, the sort of things you expect in a basic Hotel and nearest convenience shop 4 blocks away!
The apt was spacious and the view form the livingroom was fantastic into the bay bridge and skyline.
should have more cutlery ad the tv channels were not enough
We booked this apartment and then was downgraded at the arrival to one bedroom apartment, because they overbooked or rather they figure we just couple why we need two bedroom , one will be just fine ( that’s what the concierge told us) The "bedroom" had no windows ( den like room) and in general the apartment was filthy with stained carpet. The staff is very unresponsive, I was trying to contact them to schedule arrival time for two days, no call, no e-mail. Not to mention when we finally get there, nightmare. Highly unprofessional, I still trying to get hold of them regarding the whole mess they did when we arrive there...still no response. We ended up in hotel room after 5 hours of waiting simply because they did not have money to cover the bill at the hotel. There were few more people like us. Would not recommended to anyone and definitely will not book with this company again.
Nob Hill was very nice area Great location Close to trolley Beds were comfortable except that the frames were larger which helped us stub our toes nightly The hot water only took 5 minutes to make it up from the basement We found cleaning supplies to clean dirty dishwasher View of garbage chute from balconey No other views except fire escape and weed infested over grown backyard
The manager only returned calls after we contacted booking.com Oven was never fixed after multiple calls Microwave was never fixed after multiple calls Ice maker was never fixed after multiple calls We had no pans the first 36 hours then he supplied 1 fry pan (I guess in San Fran they like the eggs cold after cooking the bacon then the hash browns) the whole idea of getting an apartment is so you can cook at home and not have to eat every meal out which added over $600 to our trip breakfast 4x$50=$200 Lunch 4x$85=$340 Food we purchased $250 over half thrown out Token offer of $50 off cost a joke
They changed the location, and did not inform us until we had landed.
The dripping AC in the bathroom.
Nice clean, newly renovated apartment.good comfortable bed.
Steep street outside, makes hard work for a walk. No curtains in living area.
Very high standard apartment in excellent location in Nob Hill. Lots of space, great views. I would stay there again. Highly recommended.
Nothing to dislike
Nice area with cable car right outside. Apartment appears to have been recently refurbished. Very clean and well-equipped. Good restaurants nearby.
Be aware street is very steep and apartment up 2 flights of stairs with no lift (sorry, elevator).
The location is great. Walking distance to Chinatown and cable car stop right in front of the building to downtown and other areas. The place is brand new and is clean. Wifi works really well.
The staff is non-responsive. Because the place looks like it had been recently remodeled, there is still smell of paint and glue. The tv, microwave oven, stove and shower drain were all not working. We have sent numerous texts and left voice messages but no one ever replied. We had to stay for 5 days without any of the above. It really defeated the whole purpose of staying in an apartment.
