The rooms were quite nice and well outfitted. The business center and gym were more than adequate. Once staff figured out I had a reservation, there were no difficulties getting into my room. The building was well situated and quite attractive. One block from the White House! Bridge St has to do a better job of notifying staff about reservations, so check in procedures are clear to the building staff. Also No one knew how to operate the messaging service on the phone, and I could not retrieve a vessate.

The location is fabulous. Comparing it to a hotel...it is quiet no hall noise, making it soo much more relaxing! The roof deck is recommended! The bedroom could've used black out curtains.

Prime location: just across the street from the White House and some ten to fifteen minutes on foot to the Smithsonian. Grand entrance with a 24/7 doorman. Great view on Washington from the terrace. Free wi-fi. Personal mailbox and a phone number. The bed was too high and soft to be really comfortable. Besides, the headboard was not properly attached. The furniture was too bulky for such a small space, leaving restricted passage between the writing desk, the bed and the sofa. No view from our windows (#912), facing directly the wall opposite. Just one coffee pack (type K-Cup) was provided for the entire six-day stay.

Quiet environment Self check out is good. Howver, I returned everything in the envelope when check out but received email indicated missing something. I haven't received the email to confirm my case. There should have a better way to make sure everything clean when check out.

The Apartment was large, and comfortable (beds, sofas, etc). It was fully wi-fi and good cable televisions in the bedrooms and living room. All the appliances worked (including washer and dryer) and were modern. It also felt like a safe and secure place on a wide vibrant street. There is great dinning in the area, but Whole Foods is a pleasant walk away for those times you want to eat in. Not one complaint, but did not think in advance about the fact that this is a very nice apartment and not a hotel. No room service, and you have to buy such things as coffee filters. Like I said, not a complaint, just a fact.

Location Booked a Suite got a room with kitchen, desk& chair squeezed between couch & bed. No staff on site On arrival. Parking not as "advertised" on website (not "valet" & more $) Internet did not work & after hour service didn't call back with solution. I've maker broken & since we were only there until Tuesday there was no time to get repaired before checkout Not a good experience from start (website is misleading re. "no cancellation fee") to finish

The one bedroom suite we had was well appointed, appealing and comfortable. The price was reasonable and the location was wonderfully close to the attractions we wanted to see. The rooftop courtyard was a nice bonus - we could see a number of recognizable memorials / attractions from it. The parking took a couple fo turns around the block before I identified it, but the parking staff were excellent. Also, the parking price was one of the best for the accomodations I considered. My only complaint stems from a phone call I made when arriving. I was trying to find the building adn the parking and called BridgeStreet. It was after hours (~7pm) and my call was sent to message - a little frustrating, but the message indicated I would get a call back within a short time. I actually got a call back ~4-5 days later...

Great apartment! Really comfortable and perfect stay compared to a hotel room. The entrance to the building: - on our arrival around 9pm we could not reach the staff and had to wait around 20mins to get in + 15 mins wait to check in. That would have been okay normally, but when you arrive to your destination flying after work on a Friday night, every minute counts as ten. - on our departure: we left our luggage on Sunday before we leave for the airport to get a brunch and a bit more sightseeing. On the way back, we could not reach concierge to get in an take our luggages while the cab was waiting for us outside. We were let inside after about 10mins. I believe we were just unlucky. These are not too important, but just details that would make things perfect. We are happy with our stay and will come back again, and suggest our friends for their stay as well. Thank you. Serdar

Location and price were excellent There were a couple of electrical outlets that didn't work in 515. On the kitchen counter and out of the stove. Could have had hair shampoo. Otherwise, perfect.

The location! The ease of use with the fob. Staff were very nice. They fixed our door knob as soon as I told them. The wifi. And the roof top view!!! I called to find out why we were moved from the 11th floor to the 8th and got no response. The door handle to our apartment fell apart. The coffee maker didn't work and the lobby coffee was bitter. The paint was chipping above the shower and a prior tenent had a cat that left scratch marks on the door frames. Our son is allergic to cats, but your cleaning staff did a good job, because he didn't have any issues.

I loved that it was literally no-fuss. I came in and was given keys and then at the end of my stay, gave back the keys. Didn't have to really deal with anything else. The room was very nice and comfortable. Had all amenities I needed (except coffee, but there was a coffee maker). I was very happy here. No coffee to make in the coffee maker.

Rooms were well equipped I booked a 2 bedroom apartment but when we arrived we discovered they had overbooked and put us in 2 separate 1 bedroom apartments at another location about 4 blocks away!!! The staff in building could not help us and I had to complain to the leasing company. We ended up having to stay in 2 separate 1 bedroom apartments and split up the family! We were NEVER informed of the change until we walked into the place to discover it was a 1 bedroom. It was a very stressful experience for my family and I. We will never use Bridgestreet or Booking. Com again. Be warned!!

Great staff. Liked the swanky furnishings in the room. Location was fantastic for sight-seeing. Climate control system kept switching from AC to Heat and back again... Wasteful and annoying to have the AC running in the middle of winter! No shampoo or conditioner in bathroom.

The location can not be beaten. It is so close to the White House and many of the downtown attractions that bring sight-seers to dc. We had a spacious 2 bedroom apartment and it had (nearly) everything we needed. The computer lounge, gym and social spaces (penthouse lounge and roof deck) are better than any suite hotel around. Likely because much of the building is condo and owned. The on-site concierge did their very best to accommodate with complete answers and advice. The room itself was spacious and comfortable size. Kitchen had everything you need to keep food costs to a minimum. Free wifi is a great asset. It worked, was fast enough. Unfortunately, there were several things I found wholly unacceptable. Under every sofa, rug and bed was handfuls of dust. We ended up with one traveller ill (likely from allergies to dust and animals). Which, we tried to determine in advance--with an email to the contact for Bridgestreet but we are still waiting for "John Adams" to reply. In light of the serious allergies our son has and his Uncle, I specifically asked if the suite we were assigned had ever had cats or dogs in it. We never received an answer from him, however, its pretty obvious that (although this particular property does not permit animals in the rentals according to the Booking.com site) there have been many animals--sneezing, stuffiness and misery was what we had to manage when inside. It wasn't that was in the gym, computer lounge or penthouse lounge. So, it would have been nice to have some response from our communication. The heat/windows are a bad combination. We had the forced air set at 77 the entire time and were freezing because (despite the weatherstripping around every window) the drafts were unreal. Lighting in the second bedroom was scant and there should be a tv in every bedroom. The water never got hot. The best we ever got was a warm shower. There are no complimentary soaps, shampoos and when there is a kitchen, there really should be dish soap and a sponge. The washer didn't work its basin was and stayed filled with pooled water--can't be healthy and made us wonder about the sheets. Bedding: the beds were acceptable. Definitely not the most comfortable. Not the worst either. Not enough pillows, blankets and they are full sized...not queens. We had asked for a room with at least one King--never heard back so.... Lastly, the telephone concierge service relies on google, so you might as well also.

The accommodations at BridgeStreet @ Woodward Building are excellent and the location is a few short blocks from the Capital, Old Ebbitt Grill and other dc sites. Our room opened onto a rooftop courtyard and the room was spotless and elegant. We were impressed by the manager and staff on site who all proved to be very helpful. Booking.com did not post the correct rate for the room or phone number for contacting the reception desk for the listing. As a result of this blunder we spent a great deal of time on the telephone during our evening in dc with the booking.com staff - which had a negative impact on our experience and nearly ruined our evening. It was a very frustrating experience that ended well because the BridgeStreet manager honored the posted rate and this small boutique establishment was able to accommodate us. How could we enjoy our evening prior without the knowledge that our reservation would be honored? Booking.com asked us to pay more for a room that we had already prepaid! Their website states no cancellations....i would think twice about using their services again. The Woodward was great - but booking.com was not.
