Perfect hotel at the ferry station to San Francisco. Breakfast delivered prompts to the room each morning. Great views and nice staff. Lots of dinning options. Town closes down a bit early which we loved but could be a disadvantage if your looking for late night options.
Lovely comfortable room with great linens and toiletries. Fabulous staff -- very friendly abd responsive. Can't get a better location -- right smack in the middle of everything and on the water. I had a great two nights.
I had a room overlooking the restaurant's deck next door -- it was a bit noisy on a Saturday night until about 8 pm. Closing my windows took care of the noise.
Delicious breakfast, deck with bay view
Everything! The cleanliness and the overall feel of the hotel was just excellent. My family will definitely stay there for our next trip in the surrounding area.
Actually, there are none!
This hotel is the only one I would stay.
Very quiet and charming. Staff was very accommodating. Restaurants within walking distance. Love the large deck in the back with comfy chairs overlooking the bay, beautiful!
Seemed a bit over priced for a place to sleep. View of Golden Gate Bridge was very limited, contrary to the advertising.
Area was packed and they found us another booking in a nice hotel in Sausalito but we had been looking forward to our stay at Waters Edge. Manager and staff extremely helpful in this situation however it shouldn't have happened.
Wonder how a confirmed reservation can get lost
Lovely view. Comfortable room. Tiberon is such a lovely little place but so convenient for getting into San Francisco. A glass of wine on arrival was welcome. Must come back for a few days next time!!
No car parking. Some prior info about car parking would be useful. Could have done with some croissants or toast for breakfast.
Great service Brilliant Location Friendly staff Good quality free breakfast Several restaurants within 50 m of the hotel
No kettle or tea/coffee facilities in the rooms- but 24 hr access in the foyer. No fridge in the room
Great location. Close to restaurants. Very confortable rooms. Wine and cheese at 5PM and the deck with a view of the city are a great bonus. Best place in Tiburon.
Breakfast (room service only) comes always earlier (not good if you want to sleep in).
Great location with a beautiful view across the bay, very quiet at night, convenient travel to San Francisco by ferry
A small bar or restaurant would be nice
Great room and comfortable bed. Wine tasting at the hotel. Breakfast delivered to your door. It's actually a little underpriced.
Loved the outdoor deck and the wine and cheese hour. Everything about this hotel is great! Outstanding staff and facilities!
The view from the patio was great
We liked everything about this hotel--great room, great service, great location, breakfast was the best AND they bring it to you right on time. Honestly for the money this is the place! Almost forgot--the wine and cheese happy hour is AWESOME!! Oh and you can step out your door and catch the ferry over to the city--it was great!!!!!
That we had to go home and couldn't stay longer.
Wonderful waterfront location with deck to watch boating in San Francisco bay.
Enjoyed the surrounding area. Wine and cheese at 5pm and the deck area was great. I am a travel agent and will be recommending this wee gem as so close to downtown SFO and then come back at night to wonderful restaurants and peace and quite.
Could hear a lot of noise from adjoining rooms. The Friday night of our stay there was a 50th celebration and on our return from a day out there was a band set up opposite the hotel and felt the hotel let themself down by not letting us know.
Wonderful location if somewhat noisy at times from nearby crowded italian restaurant. Staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly, especially Mike who couldnt do enough to ensure our stay was a pleasant one.
Limited Breakfast menu. When we booked we were told the hotel had private parking, - we were directed to the public car park down the street, hardly private parking. After we complained to the management we were told we wouldnt have to pay for parking during our stay, However we checked out yesterday and were billed $15 per day parking -not worth arguing about but very disapointing.
It was a very comfortable lovely environment .....all the staff (morning and night shift...) were great!
Location was great and the staff were very kind. Very accommodating. Love the wine & cheese each night.
The rooms are great, but the bathroom could use updating.
It is nestled right in the middle of a really quaint shopping center with an incredible view of the water and Golden Gate Bridge. Very relaxing environment! The staff are wonderful - they went out of their way to meet our every need.
great location Great staff great nightly wine tasting
smell from adjacent kitchen vents
Water's Edge is a swell place. The breakfasts are easy and ample. The wines they serve in the late afternoon are top drawer. The view from the terrace is gorgeous with your glass of wine. Beds comfortable. What more can I say?
Can't thnk of a thing.
The location of the hotel is great. There is a wonderful view of the boating dock with nice seating and even a fire at night. The breakfast is outstanding with delicious oatmeal, fruit, bagels and juice.
The rooms can be a bit small. If you have a room at the front of the hotel facing Main St., expect noises from trash pick ups and delivery services early in the morning. There are a few rooms with a partial water view, however they are next to Sam's Anchor Cafe that has outdoor seating. Very loud. The best 2 rooms are facing the dock with a fabulous view and a lovely sitting area with fireplace.
