Wave Hotel Manhattan Beach (曼哈顿海滩韦弗酒店)  

I liked that it wasn't too far from the beach.

However, I think that it was definitely over priced for what was offered. Elevators down at one point, laundry facilities onsite didn't work... Takes people's money. No late check out was allowed... 1 minute after check out time someone knocking on the door... Felt rushed to leave... The key cards to the doors don't always work so you have to have someone come up and try to manipulate it everytime you leave your room. Felt cheated to be honest. :-(

Shower was bad water pressure

The lights for the vanity did not work and I had to get ready in the dark.

The room was dirty. The restroom had mold all around the ceiling. The lights did not work. I was told this hotel was clean and comfortable. I did not even unpack. I left as soon as I could

Convenient location to LAX; Courteous and efficient airport pickup and dropoff service; Quiet room; Friendly and courteous gentleman on the reception desk when we checked out - his charming manner left us with a good last impression of the hotel.

Old, stained carpet in room. It also appeared as though no one had vacuumed behind the room entry door for a long time.

Freindly staff... quiet, accomodating. I had excellent conversations with early morning front desk person.... 6:00-7:00+ a.m.

The hotub was locked and shut down too early.

Avoid the noisy room just next to the ice machine. Old ventilation system is not working properly.

Its close to the airport

It's location to the airport and beach for us at the end of a holiday and having to fly out in a couple of days it suited us fine.

Location was great being within walking distance from the beach and Manhattan Village shopping center.

It was very noisy and the bed was uncomfortable.

Walking distance to Target (5 mins), Manhatten Village Centre - Macy's (15-20 minutes) and Manhatten Beach ( 15 minutes). Convenient free shuttle service to and from lax.

Poor room maintenance. Power points near kitchen/sink area not functional, therefore refrigerator and hair dryer not working. Had to plug in toothbrush near bed.

Hotel has an underground parking lot. Rooms are big. Hotel is about 20-min walk from the beach. It's a good location to stay while in LA. Breakfast was some fruits, cereals, some pastries and bagels. Value was good for the price paid.

Staff at the reception was a bit cold. Fan in the bathroom was a bit loud as well as the air conditioned.

free lax shuttle; good easy going staff; able to use microwave, toaster. etc helps budget conscious travelers; easy walk to fab Manhattan Beach. [kinda like La Jolla ]

The place suited us really fine

We liked that it was close to the beach, manhattan beach had the best surf of all the beaches we have been to.

Did not like that our tub was plugged and did not drain...

Great position! It's on the coast and it's just half way between Santa Monica/Venice/W. Hollywood and Sunset beach/Huntington Beach... Plus it's close to the airport. Clean, silent, nice pool, free covered parking and free WiFi.

Were able to walk to the beach, more than a mile however. Fairly quiet. Parking was good. Breakfast coffee good

Needs to fix the tiling and wallpaper in the bathroom. Seems to have been put together by a mexican home depot crew. Mildew noted in the bathroom. Staff was not very friendly. Had to wait for someone to come to desk at check in, woman cleaning up breakfast did not smile. After checking in, no direction given to room, ect. Would be cautious of who I recommend hotel to.

rooms were fine. pool and breakfast were good.

check in process took far too long. rooms not ready, gave us a key for dirty room, had to keep returning to reception. very little 'care factor' from staff.

Location and room.

Convenient location for our needs. Facilities were as expected with good spa, sauna & pool facilities. Easy 1 mile stroll to the beach & cages etc. Prompt Airport shuttle appreciated. Room was comfortably appointed.

Being a light sleeper one would want to be wary of room allocation. Rooms 121 thru 123 suffer from noise generated by the refrigeration unit in the ice making room coming on & off thru the nite. Very annoying.

Accommodating, clean, quiet and great location with great value for the money. Central location to beaches, Los Angeles and great restaurants.

The staff was very nice.

We had to check out early because the jacuzzi and pool where closed done and not going to be repaired in time. That was the main reason why we choose the hotel to be able to relax in a jacuzzi after a long day at the trade show.
