Indoor pool and water slide
Rooms were noisy from people above walking across the floors
I loved everything about this hotel. Staff was amazing, water park was great, and location was perfect. 5*
Nothing to dislike.
Staff was super friendly. Room was small for a family of five but it was ok. The kids loved the splashatorium. The hotel is in a great location off the main strip but easy to get to all the shows. Would recommend to anyone!
Room could have been bigger.
Staff/facilities were excellent in every way. Kids loved the indoor waterpark and the staff guy on duty was awesome. Wished we could have stayed longer, but we will plan on staying next overnight trip to Branson.
Stayed at Welk but came to Branson for the Polar Express. Newly renovated rooms, very clean & nicely decorated. Love the lobby too, just beautiful! Need to come back in the summer to take advantage of all the property has to offer. Kids had a blast at Splashatorium!
Off the beaten path which would have been fine in the summer time b/c the resort would have had enough activities to keep us there; however we were there for the Polar Express so it was not the most convenient location. Perhaps I should have researched that before hand? :). Welk was recommended by a family member so I just assumed it was close to the Landing (I'm not familiar with the area).
Pool was nice. Snacks for kids available. Breakfast for children free even if the adult doesn't eat (but this isn't advertised, I had to ask).
Room wasn't cleaned after our first day. Concierge desk worker not very friendly (it was bad enough for my 3 year old to comment on it). Slide advertised as a big attraction, but you have to go about half-way down the FAQ page to see there's a height limit for kids.
My husband and I went here for our 8 year wedding anniversary! We had a great stay with very friendly staff! They have all the activities you could want in a hotel, water park, game room, gym, mini gulf, restaurant, etc. I will definitely go back.
The only thing that would of made it any greater is if they had Jacuzzi tubs in the rooms. ;)
We thought the Welk Resort was beautiful & had lots of great amenities for our family to enjoy - all for a very reasonable price! The room was nice & clean. Soft bedding. Excellent breakfast buffet in the restaurant. Location was perfect - close to Silver Dollar City, but not in the congested part of town. And the kids loved the mini golf and the big outdoor/indoor pool area with the slide.
Room was a bit small & cramped. Water in the indoor pool was too cold for the baby to enjoy. Wish it would've been warmer.
updated and clean, good coffee, ample snacks, very quiet, friendly staff. Plenty of ammenities for children without additional cost.
Pool was just a little chilly for me, but everyone else seemed to like it.
Really everything was very nice! I will come back!
I didn't have enough time to fully enjoy all of the resort.
We liked the cleanliness of the hotel and grounds. lide And the waterpark was wonderful. I went down the slide 74 times and the rest of my family went down a similar number of times. I have to tell you this because I really enjoyed it. We also enjoyed other acivities!
I cannot not think of anything I did not like in particular.
Hated the stupid little coffee maker that barely worked.
Location for access to Table Rock lake. Very clean property. Very friendly and helpful staff. Queen size beds in the double rooms. Very comfortable.
Large pool with slide
How to wait an extra 50 minutes while they got the right room ready. Restaurant breakfast Buffet is a joke and service. With Watered down juices.
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, hotel was clean and had many extra things to keep the kids busy.
The rooms were very small, beds were absolutely AWFUL. Could not sleep on them. They were noisy, creaky, and UNCOMFORTABLE. No ventilation fans in bathroom so it was always humid. No soft drinks, ice, snacks on our floor.
The grounds were clean and view beautiful. Water park was perfect for energetic kids. Staff was polite and hotel was clean.
The hotel was a bit dated and the rooms were clean but looked worn.
The activities for kids, the swimming pool, housekeeping,
Location of resort, resturant
Liked the location, The remoteness it is away from all the traffic and noise. Pool and water park were good.
Everything was expensive no matter what you did there was an extra charge. I think $24.00 a day for the water park was excessive for a slide and a few sprinklers.
Pool, grounds, friendly professional staff
facility was dated but clean
I like that you had an indoor and outdoor pool as well as a little play area for the smaller kids.
I thought that it was an indoor water park. I wished it had more things to do for smaller kids who could not go down the slide or have more than one slide.
If you have children of any age this is the place to be anytime of year.
The location was good and the hotel was clean. The kids enjoyed the waterpark very much. Staff was nice and helpful.
The night we arrived we were told the room we had booked had been filled. they told us they could put us in a room with one bed and cots for the kids (absolutely not) or the lodge with a king bed and pull out sofa. we picked the lodge but, I was aggrivated because the couch was very uncomfortable for the kids. It is like sleeping on a cot with metal rails in your back. They did get us moved to a room with two beds the next morning. The room they moved us to had a faulty toilet and it overflowed the first time we flushed it. They were quick to come and fix it but, it was very embarassing.
The kids had a blast at the pool.
I wish the resort offered continental breakfast.
Pool temperature slide in pool area
