Wellington Hotel

A város (NJ) központjában, de nem a nagyon zsúfolt, zajos részen elhelyezkedő, felső középkategóriás szálloda. Minden látványosság, sok szíház és a kedvelt bevásárló helyek gyalogosan is elérhetők. A személyzet figyelmes, udvarias, a szobák jó színvonalúak és tiszták.

When you can step outside the door of a hotel and see central pk to your right and time sq to your left you know you stayed in the right place, staff very helpfull.

Room position is important, I dont expect a great view in a standard room in a city hotel, but having a very large ducting unit o/s of your window which made the sound of a gale blowing all night along with some very strange and quite loud clanking noises was not great. (Room 1226)

Location in Theatre District only a few blocks from Times Square and a few blocks from Central Park was fantastic - able to explore a lot locally. 57th Street subway immediately outside was great for exploring the rest of the city without stress. Park Diner downstairs was a great, authentic New York diner open at 6am with friendly staff and great value food. Lovely Art Deco, twenties feel to the Lobby area. Friendly and helpful Bell-hops.

Room was very small and could hear toilets flushing in neighbouring room. Elevators very stuffy and claustrophobic at busy times.

rooms were a bit small & we had to change rooms after the first night because of the street noise

Very good location 2 blocks from Central Park, Concierge very helpful and organised our travel arrangements perfectly. Great air conditioning system as our stay was during July, very hot and humid weather.

Could do with a refurbishment, but was the only critisism.

Close to the art galleries

nothing...we only lasted about 9 hours and checked out, staff not very helpful at all

we booked in for 6 nights but checked out after first night due to the air con machine which was so loud you couldnt sleep or hear the telly. The room was so hot you could cook on the floor. We got a member of staff to come up to see to our problem and were told thats just the way it is and wasnt offfered any help. We packed up and moved hotels. The toilet seat was hanging off and the bed was like a brick.

Suite was perfect for a family, location, staff, price all very good for a grat visit to show your family NYC.

I loved the art deco lobby....the elevators were fast....and we never had to wait for Reception. The restaurant on the corner was handy and had good breakfasts. The location was fantasticly close to alot of points of interest.

The only things that are negative are: no fitted sheet on the bed, no spare blanket and a rattling pipe on the air conditioner but that was stopped with a shoe!

Location is perfect for seeing new york. Walking distance from Central Park, 15 minutes walk from Times Square. We took ny City Guide Hop On Bus and it had a stop right in front of the hotel for both downtown and uptown tours.

Room was small for a family and a/c did not work properly.
