Wellington Hotel

Great location, the suite was roomy (especially for New York) and clean. Friendly staff who were helpful. Would stay again.

A kitchenette was offered, however no cooking or eating utensils were available.

It had the perfect location, subway on doorstep, short walking distance from time square, busy avenue with restaurants, bars and shops... starbucks on the other side of the street for breakfast :)

Nothing that you wouldn't expect from a 3 star hotel...

Only one elevator available to my room at the penthouse.

Very small rooms. Bad Bell service. The frontdesk staff lost my safe signature card. They need a easy way for suitcases from hotel to street. They only have stairs. Rooms well cleaned. Good location, walking distance to Central Park, Times Square, etc.

central location

very well located for all the sites and shops. All within walking distance,e.g Central Park and Times Square. Staff very helpful,especially when taking luggage and getting car back to the airport,recommend this service.

My husband and I are in our early fifties and we chose this hotel because of its location and price. The location was excellent. The hotel itself was in need of updating as was our room on the first night, plus our outlook was a brick wall. The staff were helpful in changing our room which was slightly better and being on the 27th floor we then had great views.

Nice hotel in perfect place. The location is super good. Walking distance to good shopping, Broadway and Central Park.

The hotel needs a major refurbishment; the receptions area was nice but the standard of the rooms was poor. The hallway on the floors were grubby. We changed rooms but still the walls and paintwork were grubby and battered. We had problems with heating in the first room. There was no hot water in the afternoon or early evening. We sorted ourselves out with taxis to and from the airport.

We used the hotel as a base only. We washed, changed and slept there. It was fit for purpose. A free safety deposit box was offered and we used it to store our passports and valuables whilst we went out and about.

On arrival we were shown to a smoking room, however, I made it clear that this was not acceptable and we were shown to an alternative room straight away.
