location large room
Run down keys hard to use breakfast was cold
The Location was excellent was close to Recreation Facillities, Shopping, Restaurants. The staff was very helpful. I return every late Spring and Summer.
Liked the price and Was clean and quiet.
Should have been told at ck in that hot tub wasn't working. Pool needed to be warmer also for younger children
The first nite was just great, but....
The second nite was a nightmare. Unruly guests from 10:30 to 3 am; should have been curtailed way early on. Did not get what we bargained for, for the money. Should have gotten discount at the least. Most important thing *all* motels could improve is alleviating extreme door slam. Besides the constant "BOOM," it also vibrates the walls down the entire corridor.
It was quite, clean. Breakfast was great. Price was right. We will stay there again.
We did not spend a lot of time at the hotel, but found our room very comfortable.
You can hear the truck traffic on 95 and 90 early in the A.M.
Breakfast had a nice variety to choose from. Also found the staff were very friendly and helpful.
We were on the 3rd floor and the curtains didn't quite close completely allowing the lights from the parking lot to shine in the room. With so many mirrors no matter which way we turned they reflected into the eyes while trying to go to sleep.
Friendly staff, lots of great options for the complimentary breakfast. Location was great, right off the highway, easy to find.
carpet stained and not clean or well vacuumed. after first night, bed not well made. refrigerator turned up too high and I didn't notice until it was too late. Froze my hard boiled egg.
Enjoyed the twenty four hour pool. the location of the hotel is close to lots, food, shopping, gas.
Everything is very old, facilities need cleaned, ceiling in every area of the hotel has big water stains, cable has about ten channels, the breakfast was awful, the pull out bed was....well what you'd expect. We will be staying elsewhere next years Silverwood trip.
We are repeat visitors to the Shilo and enjoy our stay.
The on-line room pictured and the ammenities listed by booking.com are incorrect. The room was not the suite with the glass partition wall nor is there a falt screen TV (a much nicer room). When we inquired with management about it we were told booking.com had incorrect information and that the room described was another $20.00 per night. That needs to be corrected and we will question information from booking.com in the future. The Shilo needs to clean up the hot tub
Everything was scored excellent in areas of value, comfort, location, and amenities. Like the 24 hour pool, hot tub, and gym. Would stay here again!
Evening staff lacked awareness of some of the outside issues on the property, NO flat screen TV as advertised, security seemed relaxed with open access to side entrances.
Easy access to-and-from I-90. Clean room. Smoke-free.
Free continental breakfast almost unfit to eat, especially the waffles. Somewhat noisy due to location adjacent to I-90. Restaurant adjacent to site ok as to food quality, but like eating in a geriatric ward.
Liked that the location is close to the freeway and easy to get to. Have stayed here before and will stay again.
Clean and comfortable place while we were passing through.
-The fox was awesome -Staff directed us to the bars -Intersection of both major highways -Close to the Silver Fox -had a great late night party in the hotel room and got laid. -Great price (for the lady of the night) and the room. -hillybillys
-To long to check in. -pillows were like stones (good thing i wasn't sleeping). -Old CRT TV's -Woke up hungover -hillybillys
the AC stayed on all night and you could hear the people running and walking above us so not happy with my stay in your hotel
rooms were clean
- breakfast choices for any gluten intolerant person 1. no flavor, 2. processed hard-boiled eggs; 3. instant oatmeal or rice checks. that's it. you'll need to bring your own bread for toast. - bed was old and sloped in to wall from feet.
Location was good... 2 main highways close by without direct noise. Staff were helpful in location restaurants and upgraded our room upon check-in.
Breakfast served in dimly lit conference room.
Nice sized clean room
Bed was too soft
Easy to get to. Minutes from restaurants.
Room was dirty. Charged for a rollaway bed. (Unknown until checkout.) 100 yards from the freeway. (very noisy) Two baggage caddies for the entire facility that I saw. Need something from the front desk...Can you come get it? Unless you were in your room the entire hotel was hot and humid...poor air flow. Left a tip and request for additional towels for the maid. Tip was gone...so were the towels.
The breakfast was fair
House keeping had to come back and clean bathroom again. Smelled smokey We had ants in our room and the hotel cared less. Bad beds, dirty carpet, bad choice
The discount for the Silverwood Theme park was better than the online discount.
My family and I were in a room that smelled like mildew and the floor was wet near the a.c. Call the front desk and maintains was not able to fix the problem. Maintains said he would ask front desk to check for another room to move us. At 9pm I had to call the front desk to check to see if they had another room. Front desk said no other room available and had to wait until morning to check if another room was available for the other night. When asking the front desk the next day, the front desk person was told the problem was solved with our room. The room didn't have enough towels and need to ask each day for more. Wi-Fi was hard to log on. Both rooms had mildew in the bathroom ceilings and upper wall. All of the signs had missing letters or words.
No breakfast after advertised.
Good family hotel. Restaurant next door was good.
Breakfast was not adequate. Paper plates and plastic cutlery in a room not really suited for dining. Hotel is old and needs updating the carpets, furniture and pillows.
