None, I hate this Motel8.
Strong spice cooking smell, hard to tolerate, Dirty carpets smell bad. No coffee in room. Bulletproof glass holes to talk, hard to hear. Airconditioner control knobs broken. Manager got angry, did not give us another room, Rundown area.
I liked that or room came with toiletries, a blow dryer, & etc
The bathroom could've been allot cleaner. The tub was around it & in it
The staff at the front desk are terrible. They are not friendly at all. Very rude if you ask a question more than once. They do not accommodate you at all. Was not happy at all and will not return.
location was good. just on the high way. wifi was stable and easy. a help-your self breakfast. (don't expect a sitting dinning: a toaster+ jam and butter and hot drinks and orange/apple juice.) which was very practical. easy/free parking close to rooms. you can ask for one hour free check-out but depends on ur negotiation skills :)
staff not very friendly. but thought its not an attitude but more of a lack of motivation or maybe lack of language.
The bed was big and comfortable enough. Wifi free. Nothing better for that price around the area. (...really?)
The room was clean, but smelled rare because of humidity. The floor under the carpet was sunken in two areas. Probably the wood under the carpet was rotten. The breakfast was nothing but coffee and cereals. The first impression when getting in the motel is not good at all, because of the atmosphere and facts like: security mirrors in the corridor, security cams and that the personal for the check in was behind a pane. The window of the room connected directly with the parking, in front of the freeway. Not cozy at all. You could hear a lot of noise from other rooms. The price is too much for the place. For luck we only had to stay one night!
They didn't clean my room for the last four days or leave clean wash rags and towels. I was working nights tho
Neighborhood not scary. Close walking distance to the Subway sandwich shop. Less than 2 miles from the train station. Cheap price for the area. Some previous comments indicated complaints about the smell of curry in lobby. Fortunately I like the smell of curry. The morning breakfast was limited to juice two cereals and a sweet roll. In spite of the limited selection I found the food satisfying and filling. I stayed here on a Wednesday and Thursday night. My travel schedule took me back up to Boston for Friday night. The fact that I returned to this hotel for the Saturday night stay should tell you something. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who's looking for a low-cost accommodation where you can feel safe. Low cost. Easy access to the free Internet. Quick walk to the convenience store and restaurants. Quiet with clean sheets and towels. If you're not looking for the Embassy Suites at $200 a night, what more can anybody ask for?
Hallway carpets could use a carpet scrubber. Small details such as ceiling tiles over bathtub could use attention.
The location was nice, it being near the water and a marina. So much potential...
As soon as I walked in the strong smell of burnt Marijuana was overpowering. The carpet in the Super 8 was dirty and "sticky" in some places from overuse. Oh yeah, the continental breakfast I wouldn't have given it to my dog. Bulletproof glass for the employees? You would think you were in the "ghetto."
Only the internet connection was good.
Poor break fast. Durty bed sheet. No gabbadge bag in the room. Small room.
Very clean, and quite quiet
No T.V. remote, toilet was plugged. We had to make 3 trips to the desk to get issues solved. We have stayed there twice, and will probably not stay there again.
Good Wifi No street noise
Rooms are quite old and not very clean Expensive for what you get Bellow average of Super 8 motels
very clean and the room was confortable. Shower, wifi, TV excellent
a bit hard to find
Very limited breakfast. And No place to sit and eat what breakfast items you do have.
Incompetent desk clerk Filthy lobby and hallways Very poor breakfast choices No coffee in room Wifi didn't work Bad odor in room
Location and Value for price..
Housekeeping was a bit rude
Room was cleaned well and new towels etc. each day. Liked the appliances---fridge and microwave. Bed was comfortable. Wifi was fine as was tv. Bathroom was very clean
Neighborhood was questionable. Bullet proof window at lobby check-in not especially welcoming. Decor quite outdated. Coffee maker in room but no coffee to put in it. Continental breakfast only cereal and white toast
A nice local seafood restaurant "Sandbar" is just 200 feet from the door. A supermarket, subway and gas station are near the door. Quiet convenient.
Room was clean and furniture was new and refreshed. Once you were in your room, it was super -For the $, would stay here again. Just get to your room quickly.
-no elevators -lobby is scary. They could use new carpets and cleaner carpets in the halls and lobby. Hallways could be cleaner -Breakfast was mainly just coffee and toast -location is ok for driving. by the freeway. not the greatest
He floor was vibrating heavily from the laundries
Hotel was cheap and location (close to new haven) was fine. However, there are not restaurants around and you therefore will need a car
Worst breakfirst ever (only some slices toast and some jelly. Fridge was extremly loud. Tube-TV are out of date and should be replaced. Windows were really dirty, it was even hard to look out.
Area seemed rough, had to use the car to get about. Wifi had poor signal upstairs where we were.
Nothing, but business kept me there. Price was good
After a month and half they wanted to charge more- very poor customer service. Most front desk staff poorly trained and in several cases could not answer basic questions and told me to come back another day
The bed was awesome. The room was run down but surprisingly clean. The towels were new and fluffy. The wifi worked well. The common areas are drab and need cleaning. The desk staff were very new and lost when a question was asked of him well trying to book us in. To have a king sized bed and only 2 thin pillows is silly. 4 would be the minimum I'm guessing. Fridge was clean n cold. Nice.... Hotel was good for the price.
The biggest Bummer was the office staff. They are very new and confused. But I felt he was trying very hard. The pillows were too small and few for a great king bed. 4 pillows. WHY HAVE A COFFEE POT AND NO COFFEE???
I like the Location of the Facility
The hotel need renovation Bath room door does not close the bath room fan make noise , wall have cracks in the bath room and ceiling nhas rust on the rails. The staff needs to be more freindly.
