Very nice large room and beds.
Decor is a little dated.
Walking distance to USMA Clean Comfortable Get Up-n-Go Breakfast
Wi-fi is only good if near the windows
The staff were helpful and friendly. We only stayed one night but thought the room was very nice and we would definitely reserve again if in the area.
The room was very spacious. There were two king sized beds in our room. There was a coffee machine and sachets of coffee provided. There were comfortable chairs to sit in at the desk or in front of the TV. The soap and hair shampoo and conditioner was a nice quality. It is in walking distance to the town centre and also to West Point Military Academy. There are buses to and from Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan and the carpark of the tourist information centre on Main Street. Bus tickets - Shortline Bus Company - to or from Manhattan cost $15.50 per adult. The scenery in Fall / Autumn is superb and beautiful. Staff are friendly.
Garbage pickup woke me up. No TV channel guide
1. Parking spots were very tight. 2. The doors didn't have a latched lock. 3. I didn't see the continental breakfast.
Good price Breakfast included Walking distance to West Point Military Academy Fridge in the room
Wi-Fi signal is not that great, works well only if next to the window
Pricey for a motel but nicer than anything near by except Thayer
Great location for visits to USMA. Very friendly, courteous and helpful staff. Breakfast juice, coffee and danish/bagel/muffin bar is a nice little treat that gets you off to a good start for the day. We've stayed at the West Point motel several times over the last 2 years. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting their cadet at West Point.
There isn't really anything I don't like about the West Point motel.
We were visiting our grandson on West Point post and it was so close and easy to go on and off post. We also enjoyed the little town.
We thought the price was kind of high, but we are from the midwest and not used to rates like that.
Location, Location, Location - great! Corner room was larger than a normal room - very nice. Was quiet and comfortable.
A tad on the pricey side as are all hotels in the West Point area. Nothing flashy about the room.
Location to West Point campus
Room needs updating Carpets need replacing Stairwells outside had trash everyday Expensive for what you get
Close to West Point Clean
Dated rooms Very small and ancient TV (could not see the scores when watching football game)
The stay was smooth and we had no problem at all.
we had to haul the baggage to the second floor which for a 77 years old is not so easy.
I liked how clean and quiet it was. Good for the price.
The pillows were too thick and hurt my neck. By the time we got down to breakfast around 10 there was nothing left for us.
Cleanliness, convenience to West Point, Wi-Fi, A/C, walking distance to stores, refrigerator, nice computer desk, good sized TV
No elevator to 2d floor, not many electrical outlets
It was so close to the West Point. Very roomy and good shower facilities.
Personnel was friendly and very helpful, location to West Point was convenient. Bed sheets and bathroom were clean.
The room, although large, was musty, mildew smelling and dark. It was on the first floor, and as a woman traveling alone, I did not feel safe. Had to keep the air conditioning running to keep air circulating because I did not want to leave window open.
Very close to the Point. Typically inexpensive; however, due to the weekend events, I believed the rates were increased.
Air conditioning unit was extremely loud and the advertised breakfast set up in the check in/out office was not adequate for the number of guests. Might make sense to discontinue the breakfast and/or offer a discount to a local restaurant.
all was good - very close to West Point Academy, very clean rooms and nice hotel building
maybe a litle poor breakfast
Overpriced and services were poor. Could not get onto wifi...no password was supplied and when tried to call front desk for same multiple times, there was no answer...no one there. TV was old and placed in bad spot in the room. Tissue box had literally 4 tissues in it....then empty. There was garbage on the property...used q-tips and debris...looked like the room pails were emptied outside the rooms; no plastic liners in room pails. Coffee machine condiments were not sufficient for two people. Whole experience was a regret.
The price was great and the room was very clean
convenience to WP & relatives on Webb Ave
No plastic bags in the waste baskets. No microwave
the room was very nice. clean. big comfortable bed. nice bathroom. helpfull worker. thumbs up for west point motel!!!
