Paid almost 700 dollars for 2 nites.Very little comfort, poor breakfast. Was not a good stay.
The waffle in the shape of Texas.
No carpet or rug in the room. Dirt parking lot. The score of 5.4 must be on a scale of 50.
Next to freeway. Noisy
My room was clean, but heavy with the smell of bleach.
The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but there were cigarette burns on the night stand, and bathroom counter. The mattress was so old, I was sleeping on nothing but springs, and there were visible holes in the mattress and box spring.
At first, the price of about $89 Dollars on Booking.com for the room that I got which was marked down from about $289 Dollars regularly. I was like wow! I was thinking that this room and hotel would be great.
I was wrong. Honestly, for $89 Dollars or so, I can get the same type of room with more. First of all, after being given my receipt after checking in and reading the note at the bottom that the hotel is not liable for like any accidents at the hotel, and after looking how the outside of the hotel and the inside of my hotel looks, I was like, what? The outside stairs that took me to my room looked unsafe. If it was raining, someone could have slipped on them because the edges are worn out. When I got in my room, I saw that the surface of some of the fake wood flooring was loose. One near the bed was loose and someone could slip on it. What caught my attention was the panel ceiling. It looked bowled in towards the bed like it was going to fall. Maybe they had a leaking roof but the entire ceiling over the bed seemed to almost be ready to fall. The bed was a rolling bed. It did have a fridge, microwave, but that's about it. There was no iron, ironing board and coffee maker. The room was clean but the furnishings were old and kind of damaged. The closet had a door that was off the hinges a little. The furnishings kind of look like they were bought from a garage sale, they were that old. The paint was peeling in some parts. Some parts of the walls look damaged. The door was really hard to open and close. The air conditioner worked well. The sheets were clean and smelled clean, but I saw what looked like maybe blood stains, just little stains. The continental breakfast wasn't that much. At other places, like Days Inn, you can find more. To be honest, with either the regular $289 or so for this room or the discounted price of $89, this room and this hotel is really overpriced. Maybe they are trying to remodel, since I saw some furnishings in the lobby with peeling plastic. I don't know. Just overpriced.
The price, all other hotels in the area are $200 plus.
Not very clean
Ceiling was falling down in my room a d ac barley cooled
Ceiling was falling down in my room a d ac barley cooled
list to long
The place is very dirty south so I had to go ask for extra blankets just to place on the floor as the carpet was sticky on you feet when you walked in. The chair in the room had many stains I could not even sit on it. The pillows, although there were 4 of them all togetheright have made one pillow. The room was just gross. Stayed here two nights came to drop my daughter off at college. Because of the oil boom in midland all hotels are charging much higher rates as finding a vacancy can be difficult. I say if your hotel at one star, which this place does not deserve even one star, is selling out each night the Korean owners should be putting some money back into the property to at least get it to a one star standard. This place is a crime taking people's money with gross accommodations enough said. Stay at your own risk!
They have a decent, working swimming pool! TV channels were fair.
Parking lot needs repair, room had an odor (had to go buy our own air freshner), paint peeling in bathroom, ceiling had open spots, room was not very sound proof (could hear neighbors like, they was sitting in the same room with us).
breakfast was good. room was clean. staff was friendly. Area was nice.
Cable went out and didn't have any tv or internet for a bit...but that was suddenlink not the motel's fault.
We like the location and we like the nice new floors.
Pillows were too small and comforts were too thin. Curtains had holes in them and were tied with a plastic bag. Not enough lighting. We did not like the un-lathering.
Tv didn't work cut off 1000 times WiFi didn't work Refrigerator was broken Continental breakfast was either a waffle, cereal or little Debbie snacks Rooms were relatively clean but overall could have been way better. If your looking for a cheap motel to fall asleep and shower all good but not a nice place to stay by any means
The bed was alright.
Bad customer service Bad housekeeping Very bad wifi Will not come again.
Was too noisy. Shower leaked all night. Seems as a motel for oil field workers that can't afford an apartment. Door does not lock properly.
Price- it is so difficult to find anything in this area.
Smell- it reeked of cigarettes. TV works intermittently.
I like that I got to spend time with my wife
Had a little bit more maintenance done on it. Take ladder down.
The night clerk charged our credit card after we had already paid when we made the reservation. And he did not seem to understand that there was considerable outside noise and he did not try to speak loudly enough to be understand.
Water pressure in shower was great and front desk personnel were nice.
Very uncomfortable beds Sheets didn't fit bed and prevented a good night sleep Bland decor - no carpeting Very poor breakfast selection Shower clogged up Maids did mediocre job at best King size pillows with standard size pillow cases Constant highway noise Place should be demolished and something new built!
There was a pool and it the rm was available. Pet policy.
Uncomfortable mattresses and flat pillows. Trash on walkways pool deck falling apart and trash laden. If other accommodations were available I would have booked there.
Location in proximity to my projects was good.
Refrigerator was turned off when i arrived and dirty as well. I was afraid to put my food in it; so I wrapped everything tightly in several plastic bags and placed several towels underneath the whole thing. There was something that looked like toilet paper in the bath tub I had to go purchase my own trusty brand of cleaning supplies and gloves to clean entire shower and tub before use; while I was at it I cleaned entire restroom. I needed to plug my electronic devices and plugs were few and looked to be a hazard. Frankly I was afraid their condition would damage my devices. I will never return to this place. I definitely got what I paid for, I was just trying to save some money.
Bathroom had mud on walls, towels were the size of hand towels. Internet would not connect in room, no info on local food locations. Most items in room unplugged.
This motel is so old and run down and smells.
Close to I-20
Bed, oilfield workers hanging out around the clock. Wife & kids didn't feel safe enough to use to pool
