Score from 43 reviews Good
The worst I can say is that it had rained a good bit, and there is nowhere for the water to go. The entrance and exit was flooded.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was equipped with fridge & microwave. It was spacious. The room was much cleaner than I expected! The housekeeping staff stayed on top of things. The wifi worked fine for me.
Tv didn't have guide or radio, room carpet needed cleaning
Bed was comfortable
The carpet was sticky, the shower faucet ran constantly and the bed was not comfortable.
The title of this review is due to the owners making the lobby nice and neglecting the rooms.
The staff was nice and the lobby beautiful.
The owner and or manager wasn't nice or polite at all. There was no kitchen area in our room but a small bar fridge. There is very little to do at this motel and on the weekends you get woken up before 9am but housekeeping.
The cleaning ladies were all very nice.
The room I was given just had the carpets shampooed and they refused to give me another room and the carpets were soaked. Only downside. Checked out the next morning.
Easy to book a room. Friendly staff. Good for a short stay, okay for the price.
the WiFi was slow and buffered every 10 minutes. There was no water pressure and the temp wasn't constant.
The location was good. Had a restaurant with in walking distance.
Lack of electrical plugs. Breakfast was a little sparse.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious. Good water pressure. Price. We plan on staying there again!
The bathroom and dressing area were not clean. The door did not lock right. Had to move furniture in front of door during the night.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The lobby was clean and neat.
bed was very uncomfortable continental breakfast was bad
Dirty filthy carpet, someone else's hair on bed, garbage left in dresser, nonworking smoke alarm, incomplete bedding. Racks in bathroom hanging on one hook.photo on-line deceiving.Mgmt gave deer in the headlights look when confronted with our findings.
Price is a steal compared to surrounding motels. Clean ,quite best value i've found in that area.I will stay there next time I have to work in that part of Midland.
Dropped ceiling looked very old. Lamp shades were either in really bad condition or non existent.
Price was lower than most, but that's because name brand hotels were over $200.00 per night.
No towels in room Looked like black mold on the floor in the corner Sparse breakfast options Lack of amenities for price Rock-hard bed Definitely an older, not remodeled motel
One of the least expensive motel options Convenient location Sitting room space in motel room Refrigerator and microwave in room Wooden floors
The wifi didn't work, there was one power outlet in the entire room, no reading lights, just one overhead light, you might as well be sleeping IN the highway instead of next to it as the sound of the traffic was so loud.
Man at desk was friendly, lodge is attractive
The bed was lopsided..the couch was old as hell
The price was great..great location..
Paid almost 700 dollars for 2 nites.Very little comfort, poor breakfast. Was not a good stay.
No carpet or rug in the room. Dirt parking lot. The score of 5.4 must be on a scale of 50.
The waffle in the shape of Texas.
Next to freeway. Noisy
The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but there were cigarette burns on the night stand, and bathroom counter. The mattress was so old, I was sleeping on nothing but springs, and there were visible holes in the mattress and box spring.
My room was clean, but heavy with the smell of bleach.
I was wrong. Honestly, for $89 Dollars or so, I can get the same type of room with more. First of all, after being given my receipt after checking in and reading the note at the bottom that the hotel is not liable for like any accidents at the hotel, and after looking how the outside of the hotel and the inside of my hotel looks, I was like, what? The outside stairs that took me to my room looked unsafe. If it was raining, someone could have slipped on them because the edges are worn out. When I got in my room, I saw that the surface of some of the fake wood flooring was loose. One near the bed was loose and someone could slip on it. What caught my attention was the panel ceiling. It looked bowled in towards the bed like it was going to fall. Maybe they had a leaking roof but the entire ceiling over the bed seemed to almost be ready to fall. The bed was a rolling bed. It did have a fridge, microwave, but that's about it. There was no iron, ironing board and coffee maker. The room was clean but the furnishings were old and kind of damaged. The closet had a door that was off the hinges a little. The furnishings kind of look like they were bought from a garage sale, they were that old. The paint was peeling in some parts. Some parts of the walls look damaged. The door was really hard to open and close. The air conditioner worked well. The sheets were clean and smelled clean, but I saw what looked like maybe blood stains, just little stains. The continental breakfast wasn't that much. At other places, like Days Inn, you can find more. To be honest, with either the regular $289 or so for this room or the discounted price of $89, this room and this hotel is really overpriced. Maybe they are trying to remodel, since I saw some furnishings in the lobby with peeling plastic. I don't know. Just overpriced.
At first, the price of about $89 Dollars on Booking.com for the room that I got which was marked down from about $289 Dollars regularly. I was like wow! I was thinking that this room and hotel would be great.
Not very clean
The price, all other hotels in the area are $200 plus.
Ceiling was falling down in my room a d ac barley cooled
Ceiling was falling down in my room a d ac barley cooled
list to long
The place is very dirty south so I had to go ask for extra blankets just to place on the floor as the carpet was sticky on you feet when you walked in. The chair in the room had many stains I could not even sit on it. The pillows, although there were 4 of them all togetheright have made one pillow. The room was just gross. Stayed here two nights came to drop my daughter off at college. Because of the oil boom in midland all hotels are charging much higher rates as finding a vacancy can be difficult. I say if your hotel at one star, which this place does not deserve even one star, is selling out each night the Korean owners should be putting some money back into the property to at least get it to a one star standard. This place is a crime taking people's money with gross accommodations enough said. Stay at your own risk!
