Westwinds Inn914 Eaton Street, FL 33040 Key West (Show map) Good, Score from 240 reviews“Location in Key West is excellant for what i wanted, not on the main shopping area so it was quiet which was ideal for me. It served breakfast which was a plus for a American hotel.”

I booked Westwinds Inn almost sight unseen since there are very few pictures online and couldn't have been more happy with the hotel and location. The Inn is a few blocks from Duval Street, but the walk is beautiful back and forth and the pool and breakfast area is just gorgeous. I almost did not want to give a review because other people may find this hidden treasure - but if you are looking for a small inn a few blocks from the party, then please stay here! Nothing - it was very quiet and clean.

The two swimming pools and the excellent breakfast. Very comfortable and secluded even though it was right on the main street. Very nice palm trees and planting. We plan to return next year. No parking facilities on the property. Had to park in a parking garage across the street for $13 per day or find on-street parking that everyone was looking for. Also, would like a coffee maker in the room.

Nice b&b charm with more privacy. Very close to everything in Key West including eaton bikes (a block away)...highly recommended for "Key"less transportation. Beds were very comfortable set in cozy rooms. Both pools were small but surrounded by tropical trees, flowers, and a water feature. A few minutes walk to Scooner's Warf where the locals hang after sailing or catching fish...great break from the "Duval Crawl". Westwinds Inn is about a 10 minute walk to Duval Street; but get a bicycle and you get anywhere in Key West in minutes. We would highly recommend Westwinds Inn for a quiet weekend stay in Key West. We spent our 15th anniversary there and enjoyed every minute! Take your own shampoo and conditioner if you are picky about your hair.

Not much. They did have two pools but they both close at sunset, so what's the point. The location wasnt bad, about 10 minute walk to Duval street. Almost everything. From the guy that checked us in who was a bit snooty and didnt want to answer our questions until he was ready to, to the room the size of a closet with no bathroom door even though we paid a high price for the room, we didnt like much of anything. It is neat they have a little library, but really, who goes to key west to sit in a small room and read?? Our blinds were broken so anyone could see in our room and one of the blinds was mended with a band-aid. That pretty much sums it up. Breakfast was nothing special. Our hotel room didnt even lock properly and by the time we noticed anything it was after 8 and that is when they staff leave for the night and there is no one to complain to. Overall, there are much better places to stay for a cheaper price. We got the economy room, so beware. Maybe the others were better, but by the looks of things, I wouldnt count on it.

The Inn was clean, the staff extremely friendly and the location was perfect. 4 blocks off Duval so it was quiet. 3 blocks from the harbor which is full of good restaurants and some neat bars in the area, both on the water and off

Our check in and check out experience was efficient and friendly. The staff allowed us to leave our bags in the office for a few hours while we walked the community after check out; very much appreciated. We already passed out 4 of your business cards to local tourists asking where to stay! Keep it friendly, cool, and clean and we'll be back too. Where were the swim towels? Could have used more lounge chairs by the smaller pool by the library.

It's in a great spot not far from everything in Key West. I was there recently for friends getting married. Others were staying at the Inn as well as the bride and groom. We all had a fantasic time!

Located in a beautiful building, close to Duval street. Nice garden too. The rooms themselves are quiet (as long as you do not need to use the airconditioning). Personnel is friendly. Key West is expensive and probably the 210 dollar a night we paid is not much. The rooms are however old, with a noisy fridge and air conditioner and a disgusting anti-slip mat in the shower (with yellow stains underneath it). The breakfast the offered was about the worst I had in Florida (while this hotel was the most expensive of all). The fruit is a nice touch but does not make up for the obviously old Danish and bagels that were hard as steel. There were no eggs nor waffles.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful landscaping and pools. Very good location. Stingy breakfast offerings, some not replenished for later breakfasters. Poorly furnished room. Lounge, library, and kitchen closed to guests 9-2 for five days due to private event. Noisy construction began just outside room before 9 am. Unpleasant management. Definitely not worth the price for a "splurge" trip.

Liked the courtyard where the continental breakfast was served. Loved the cat, Pumpkin. Bathroom, terribly inadequate. No safety rails in shower. Insufficient towels racks. No vanity. Room, overall, was too small.

The staff were great....they were so helpful and friendly....the best!!! The location wasn't to bad. Paid way too much for such a small room with twin beds that we couldn't even slide together.(it was our anniversary).......At the price we paid, $300 a night, we expected a much nicer room. Shower was bad, it would turn hot or cold on its own while you were showering.

I liked the fact that the hotel was situated in a quiet area, away from all the noise and action of Duval street yet it was still close enough to walk to the happening spots of downtown Key West. I also enjoyed the pool area as it was a nice peaceful place to relax and unwind after coming back from the frenzy of Duval street. I really enjoyed my time in Key West. Will definitely be back. I loved everything about the Westwinds but if I could make one small improvement it would be to offer a little more for breakfast. I'm not a big fan of continental breakfasts and it would have been nice to have more options even if I had to pay for a bigger breakfast. This wasn't too big a deal since I just went to the nearby bakery each morning and got some pastries which were delicious.
