Bed Was Very Uncomfortable
The great view from the deck and all the windows
Wifi did not work with apple
The price was what got us there. I'm a cheapskate. Also, the family who run the place were friendly and helpful. It was pretty quiet.
I didn't like the scary-looking bug in the sink. (It died a quick death.) The room was small, even cramped.
Price Location, close to Hyannis and walking distance to restaurants. Fridge and microwave
There was wifi but we were never informed of network name and password until we asked. There was coffee but there was no information about that availability Pool filthy Couldn't open front window Smell No hangers in closets
electrical problems and stairway was slippery from food and dew.
I had to leave
Room- spider webs, blood stain blanket, small tv when working, smells. Bathroom- stains, cigarette burns on tub, rocking toilet, old toiletries, supermarket vegatable sprinkler for shower head. Noise- heard footsteps, vehicles, upper floor noise as well as neighbors. No access to water as shown in advertisement photo.
This place is a DUMP! Moldy smell; club chairs look like fraternity house rejects; bathroom dingy, cracked toilet, cigarette burn marks on sink, toilet, bathtub; towels hard; crank to open window was removed; man working desk was very unfriendly and sarcastic; bed spread greasy and stained....AWFUL!!!
We have a big room for 5ppl ,and last minute we add one more 6 ppl are in the room the old man that I think his the owner throw me out the next day, the word he use to call my friend was (I want those ppl out!!) We a loud voice very angry, I was mad at the time, iam not black but theirs no reason to call friends in that kind meaning my one of my American friend talk to him if can add another room he say no, I want all them out.....
I would recommend to people who want the bare bones of a room. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Period. No extras. That worked fine for us, and we were well taken care of.
No complaints about the hotel or staff.
Windows didn't clothes, drawers didn't have tracks and I had to borrow screwdriver from front desk to jimmy it open to get my clothes out. Also, a lot of transients stay ther at cheaper price. They were a couple next to us that had the door open and were drinking and making noise to 2 am. Phone in room had no number for front desk. When I went to ask people to calm down they threatened to attack me, only when I threatened to call police did they calm down
Location- near many beaches and restaurants. Quiet at night in spite of being on main road. The large size of room with balcony. Kindness and friendliness of staff.
The day after we arrived our room had not been cleaned. However, the owner explained that there had been a sub and gave us a discount on our extra night. There were no hangars nor a hairdryer in the room which would have been good.
The motel is rundown and lacks basic maintenance. I slept in a room with smoke smell, cigarette burns on both chairs and get this, the mattress also. The toilet broke, the laminate in the bathroom was peeling off and they do not do anything about it. This place should not be letting their place fall apart. Dirty feeling when you are in the room. You get what you pay for!! Not worth it. Never again at this place. Ken From Cromwell CT
TV didn't work, no wifi, shower - tub would not drain. Mold around shower wall.
Love the waterview, outdoor corridors ,and owners and staff.
WiFi did not work on my IPad in my room, had to go to lobby.
The back view and location.
The bed, bathroom, tv and the overall the room condition.
the view of marsh/wildlife was a very pleasant surprise. talked to staff we were in room 212 ended up staying extra night in 213 very nice room
all the rain
It had a fridge and microwave. The bed sheets were clean. The bathroom was cleaned the next day
The smell in the room was terrible because, I believe of the mold issues. None of the windows could be opened, at least to get some fresh air in the room. It was quite dark in the room, even during the day. The room was small, not much room to move around, the furniture was old. The same with the TV. The bathtub clogged up right away after turning on the shower. For the price we paid for this particular room, I really expected better quality.
The pool, the view, access to ice, the price!
Bed was firm and comfortable, easy access to parking from room, staff was nice
Wifi was broken - but the manager did tell me in advance that it was. Turn to enter the lot from the main street sneaks up on you, a sign or two before the turn would help, or a bigger sign at the turn. Trees obscure the sign until the last second.
The view was beautiful! We went Friday hit traffic all the way and called to see how late owner very nice willing to wait for us!! Made me feel so welcomed!
There were people going in and out of the place like they were buying something, and that was day and night.People live there permanently, they actually looked like they were homeless people.
I liked the fact that Yankee Village is on Mill Creek Marsh. It is situated in a very developed area of the Cape....with many motels and other businesses all along the road. It is quite central....and easy to go in any direction to have Fun on all other parts of Cape Cod. Also, since it is surrounded by Greenery....with Garden Trails on either side....it is very lovely on it's own. It's near to Beaches by short walks to Nantucket Sound. It has a nice Pool for evening swims.....when you come back to rest.....after a long day exploring Beautiful Cape Cod.
