Spacious rooms. Friendly staff.
Parking lot view. Rooms were a bit dim.
Easy access to and from the interstate; clean, comfy room. I left too early to try the complimentary breakfast.
Rainy weather affected the lobby computer system and the single late-night staffer was struggling to check-in visitors and answer the phone.
They were very gracious and respected my privacy. I only went out once to WalMart for a short time and straigtened up my room. The inside vending machines worked very well.
There was no restaurant on site. I couldn't get the outside vending machine to work all right.
Lady checking us in was very pleasant and helpful directing us to a good place to eat. An inexpensive alternative to Seattle on you're way to a cruise ship.
A few shady people walking around. At one point a police cruiser passed slowly through the lot.
This place is an excellent value. The bed and sheets were comfortable. The staff bent over backwards to make our stay most pleasant. They anticipated my needs on a couple of occasions. The bathroom was tiled and very clean. The bottom line is that the place is clean and comfortable and the price can't be beat. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends on a moderate to tight budget.
The continental breakfast was fresh-cooked waffles, packaged muffins coffee and OJ. There was no protein, not even in the form of milk or yoghurt. Still the room cost about 60% of ovther acceptable local options. So I can stay here and go out for a sumptuous breakfast and still save a lot of money.
We were unhappy with how we were treated and lied to when we needed to cancel our last night. We were told we had to pay for that room because we booked our room through booking.com. They told me not to call booking.com because it would impact their relationship with them in a negative way and I would be on hold forever anyway. I almost fell for their story but I called booking.com anyway. I was surprised when I received help right away and was told I could have full credit back for the last night of our stay. Booking.com called the front desk right away and sent me a confirmation email that I would not be charged for the last night. The email was copied to the hotel, too. I felt like Booking.com had my back. I will always use this service but I will never go back to this hotel.
Clean.Good location. pleasant staff. I will be back.
The bed was really great. It was clean, the staff was super nice, and I felt safe. And I enjoyed the shower.
The toilet was running. The continental breakfast was nothing to write home about, but I guess some food is better than none.
The lovely lady at the front desk was so sweet and helpful and approachable. She was there in the evening when we checked in and was still there in the morning when we checked out with a smile on her face the whole time. Her printed instructions on how to navigate the two remote controls to make the TV work and how to execute the free wifi were clear and concise. She took the time to explain both instructions to us as well. The room was comfy, smelled decent and was clean. The king bed was very comfortable. The sheets, towels and even that scary printed over-blanket thing were immaculately clean (and that over-blanket thingy is usually always disgusting everywhere we've ever been!) The room and area otherwise was quiet and had blackout curtains. I had the best sleep I've had in months! The location was easy to find, right off the highway and it was easy to get around from as a basecamp. Parking was plentiful. Free breakfast was waffels with butter, jams and syrup, muffins, coffee, tea and selection of juices. Walking distance to a gas station, the Sizzler (surprisingly good!) and Ivars Seafood Restaurant. Would totally come back if we ever need to go back to the Greater Tacoma Area.Look, you're getting an inexpensive place to stay on your vacation, this isn't exactly a four star hotel-but value for money spent and compared to other similar classed motels, this place was quite decent.
We knew what we were getting ourselves into when we chose to stay here for $80 instead of another, fancier place for $200 a night. We were impressed but are splitting hairs here to give you an honest view of what could be preceived as unsavory. We were on the bottom floor and could hear the people walking around upstairs etc. The key card wasn't 100% and I had a small heart attack when we couldn't get in-a couple more tries and we were good. The room was dark, dated and the rest of the furniture, though functional and clean, were cumbersome and ugly. The bathroom sink tap did not produce hot water. The breakfast was quite limited and only offered simple carbs and no proteins to sustain you for longer-you'll def have to go somewhere if you're looking to satiate and sustain your blood sugar levels. The TV didn't work for us right away until we got up and pushed in the cables into the cable box-though I suspect they may have gotten loose through cleaning as the place was clean and smelled decent. There was a mini fridge and microwave but no coffee maker-however, the lovely lady at the front desk offered to bring us coffee to our room if we wanted it-We didn't bother as the lobby was only a short distance from our room and we could just get it there.
very nice and clean, we stay there often when visiting family
