The location and grounds were beautiful and the staff was very helpful.
The cleaning crew did not clean the room to our satisfaction. And on our last night there we found a bug that highly resembled a bed bug on one of the pillows. We reported it to the management upon checking out and they were very apologetic and told us they were going to discount our stay by 50%. We haven't seen that credit yet on our bill.
Privacy, grounds, easy access to Branson.
We got deluxe grand villa with 2 bedrooms for a group of 6 for a girls weekend and it's so comfy and homelike. You don't feel like you're in a hotel with the couches and full kitchen.
The check-in is at 4:00pm which isn't bad but the check-out is at 10:00am which seems kind of ridiculous when you also have a late check-in as well. It should be one or the other if anything
The best part of this place was that they had security at the front entrance, and the location
Th bad part was that it looked as though they hadn't updated their hotel in about ten years. Cracked walls, stained counters, and screws in the walls that held nothing up were all over our room.
Exactly as it looks on website. Nice rooms and lots to do on property
Jacuzzi tub in room didnt work. Bed was hard
We have stayed here many times with our children and grandchildren. We love the connecting rooms and everything there is to do. The location is very secluded, yet convenient to everything.
Everyone was very nice and helpful.
Came in at night. Had hard time finding which villa was ours. Couldn't see the numbers.
We have stayed twice at this motel and have enjoyed both times. The room was great and the staff very helpful. It was very peaceful.
Market place was nice.
I booked by looking at the picture of the resort online. Didn't know we would be in the older buildings. Disappointing.
The lobby was nice. Their cabins looked pretty from the outside.
The hotel room smelled funny and there was a dirty towel left in the bathroom. The bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast was an extra charge. No vending for drinks or ice machine. It was only worth about half the charge. Definitely NOT 3 star as stated!
The grounds are beautiful and very impressive I think rooms need done update work but comfortable the
Really all in all things were all good
I like the location, and the gated entry,
I didn't like that as soon as you register, you are directed to a telemarketer trying to get you to buy a timeshare.
The location was perfect for our weekend getaway. We were in the middle of our activities but not on a busy road.
Toilet was "small" says my husband
We thought we booked one of the condos that we had stayed in before. The reservation said studio condo but it was the third bedroom of one of the cabins. Tub stopped up. TV old. Telephone did not work maintenance came but it was the line I to room. Fresh towels were left on the porch in the rain.
The beautiful surroundings
Accommodations was not resort worthy. They were more of a budget motel. I thought I booked a room in the lodge that is used in the advertising. I didn't know that there was outdoor bldgs for non owners. So we got a smelly cheap motel.
The price was great, the setting was bucolic, and I cannot wait to come back.
The only issue I had was the mattress was super hard and the breakfast place only took cash.
The rooms were very nice and comfortable
It would have been nice to have my room cleaned, bed made, and new fresh towels at least one out of the 4 days I stayed.
location was good room was nice and clean
met some very rude staff
Things we like are staying in the villas where you don't feel like your in a hotel room. The property is away from the traffic and feels like your in the woods. Peaceful with mature guests. So much to do that you could stay on the property and never have to go anywhere.
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. Seems like we could here the other guests more in the villa we stayed in this time. There was also a water hammer issue with the plumbing in the bathroom. Would be nice if wifi was free considering all the other expenses. Heat & A/C unit was not consistent with thermostat. Need to upgrade to more efficient.
the location was good
no hot water, floor was never swept, was not expecting the room we got, booked online for nice hotel , got put in building #1 room 101 was expecting the main building , felt like was faults advertising for the room shown on web site,
the place was clean and the bed was comfortable
this was a high pressure sales for timesharenot mentioned at all on booking.comonce they knew you were not interested the staff was rude and everything was extrawould not stay there again or recommend them I was charged more than what I booked at on booking.comthere are lots of nice places to stay in Branson avoid this one
The property looked inviting. And I wanted to explore but time didn't allow. Also I wasn't forced to take time share tour.
Our room was clean and comfortable but it seemed dated. Didn't realize it was a time share property when I made reservations.
The place was nice and close to 76.
It should be disclosed up front that this is not a hotel it is a huge resort and they are going to try to sell you a time share when you check in. When we got there they did not have our reservations luckily I took my print out from booking with me as proof I had a reservation and in fact had already been charged for my first nights stay or I guess we would've been sleeping in my car. We paid extra for a one room villa because the pictures showed a balcony and we wanted to sit out and enjoy the nice weather well when we got in our room guess what no balcony!! Also they charge your card an extra $50 for incidentals that will be returned after check out which is fine and I expected but on returning home I found there was another $47.10 charge on my card I had not athorized and had no idea what it was for. It took me two days and numberous phone calls to try to get that taken care of. I have been to Branson many times and have never had this kind of experience. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
The property was clean and pleasant. However, be prepared for timeshare sales in your face! This was the huge negative of our experience. We would never have booked with westgate had we known we would be hounded into timeshare and ticket sales.
Timeshare hounding and attraction ticket pushes!!!
Location was good.
Pictures of rooms were not accurate. Rooms were not in good condition. Sofa was torn. Table laminate was coming off. Guest rooms were outdated. Blood stain was found on pillow case.
