I felt safe there as a solo female. I liked the woodsy feel. Felt more like being at a camp than just staying at a motel. Everyone was really helpful and nice. Exceptionally clean. Very nice room. I was able to completely relax and enjoy my visit.
I didn't realize that you had to pay for the breakfast. I was told "breakfast will be served in the building next door". Should have been made clear that it was not a complimentary breakfast. Would have liked a choice of something between just a sheet and something very warm. I would have slept better.
The resort was really close to everything but still far enough away to be relaxing.
The beds in the double queen rooms were really uncomfortable.
Parking lot was kinda small for a full size truck
Needs new mattresses; beds were very hard but other than that resort was very good. I would recommend and I would definitely stay there again.
water drip from ac unit
Wonderful amenities and location
Rooms we small
I loved the location & privacy. It was secluded enough to feel like your own home, but close to a lot of attractions. The grounds are gorgeous!
I didn't like wooded areas, too much wild life.
TV didn't work TV did not work and was not fixed Poor location of room for handicap carpet stained and not clean no luggage cart available staff generally not helpful $99 charge for 1 night stay was excessive for a room with no TV Pool was not accessible; this place sucks
While your website states that they are pet friendly, their charge for a pet is $175.00 non refundable deposit plus $100 per night. This is outrageous and you should have disclosed this on Booking.com. We did not stay at the hotel because of this; however, they charged me $99 for the reservation. I had to dispute this through my credit card company. We ended up driving 4 hours back to Overland Park from Branson at 11pm. I am not happy and will not book at this hotel ever again nor use booking.com
The room has a musty smell.
location of pool and other activities were close together so it was easy to keep track of all the children.
The breakfast was awful. Even the pancakes were bad.
We didn't not know Westgate woods resort has motel for rent. The room was so many bugs and spiders. The bathroom door knob wasn't in place/falling apart. It also unable to upgrade to CONDO unit.
We stayed in the main building (new) and it was nice and clean.
Our room was ok, it was small, and you could hear your neighbors talking in the next room. I couldn't stand the smell of the air freshener they used in the lobby and the elevators. I didn't like no having a window in the front of the room to let light in.
This is an excellent family resort. My kids had a great time. Pizza delivered to your room. Comfortable beds and rooms decently sound proof. We loved the huge outdoor pool.
Wish the breakfast would have been free. Could have used a restaurant on the grounds. $10.00 a night for internet was too costly.
Overall appearance of the property and amenities.
The cleanliness of the rooms - at arrival there was feces stuck to the outside of the toilet, hair on the shower wall, dead bolt ripped off the wall, door stop laying in the middle of the floor, carpet chairs were filthy.
Room was very noisy, we could hear people from above and people in room connected to us. I felt the room was a little pricey for what you got. We stayed overnight our room was never cleaned and we didn't receive clean linens. The restaurant that served breakfast was filthy, their was trash overflowing from all the trash cans, it was cramped, and the buffet was out of Hashbrowns the whole time my husband and I were their on a Saturday morning.
Location, amenities (pool, registration area, store, Starbucks, ice cream, breakfast available at reasonable price.), property well kept/groomed.
Breakfast area could/should be more upscale -- I think the workers are struggling with the facility they have. Fridge was a little noisy (room 713). Air conditioner condensation on walkway in front of rooms -- had to hop over or otherwise get wet feet that would track into room. Also, the chain-lock was/is installed incorrectly (again room 713) that basically rendered it unusable, though didn't really feel the need to use given the overall comfort of the resort.
The resort itself was great ...
Our room was terrible... The T.V was full of snowy...The sheets were stained..they sent new sheets for US to change...The towels were thin and the room had a basement odor and spiders this was not what we are used to getting for $90...we have stayed in $55. rooms that were MUCH nicer.
The room was not very clean (mold in the shower) and the cleaning service was poor. (Didn't empty trash, leave clean towels, didn't vacuum, etc. in the hotel room we were in). Even though we were in a non-smoking room, the smoke was so thick outside from people smoking that it filtered into the room through the air conditioner.
The location was perfect. All the amenities were nice.
The room that we had looked nothing like the pictures they claim it will look like. The travel club push was very excessive.
It was not on the main strip and was gated for safety.
Upon arrival we got to the room. Opened the mini fridge to put our sodas in to keep cool only to experience a horrible smell. After looking further someone had left two packages of meat in the freezer part that was far from frozen and had started to rot. We were on the top room but keep hearing heavy footsteps all night and could hear our neighbors talking all night. Got up to a cold shower......just not our best experience, expected better from a resort.
Easy access to the best attractions that Branson has to offer.
When looking at their photos you would assume you will be staying in the main building, but we were put in a double queen motel style room. We got to our room later in the afternoon and their were a lot of flies. I rolled up a paper and went on a killing spree. The mattresses on the bed seemed to be in desperate need of replacing. After spending the next day out we came back to the room to find the beds made and the trash cans emptied. They did not replace used bar soaps and we didn't have a single towel left in the room. On top of that all the flies were back. I complained at the front desk and they sent a guy who dropped off a trash bag full of towels. I asked for a fly swatter and he said they don't have any. Either the cleaning crew leaves the doors wide open while cleaning or the flies get in through the 1/2 inch gap between the top of the door and the frame. Nothing like trying to sleep and hearing a constant buzz around your face. My family will not be back to this hotel....motel.
The location was very nice. Breakfast was good for money. Staff very friendly. Close to attractions.
People have to walk in roadway to get to pool and other buildings maybe consider walkways. Tile floor in our unit was dirty our feet were black on bottom. For my husband pool was slippery walking in.
