The large size of the room was a pleasant surprise. It's nice that all of the rooms are on higher levels. The location is central if you want to be in Coral Gables. Personally, I prefer Coral Gables to the craziness/tackiness of Miami Beach and downtown Miami. And, really, it's not that far away if you feel like going out. Then again, I'm usually only stopping over in Miami to visit family for a night or two on my way to or from Key West, where I'm from. Even though the hotel was renovated in 2008, it feels very dated and drab. The decor is just depressing: all grays. The wooden furniture was chipped in many places, the couch was just ugly and cheap looking, and the room was dirty when we got there - like a questionable hair on the toilet seat dirty. Normally, I'm not finicky about a little slip up in housekeeping, but that's just gross. Also, the hotel only occupies a portion of the original Colonnade building. The rest of building is offices. I know this is not the fault of the hotel but it really takes away from the charm.

Quarto maravilhoso, grande, espacoso, muito confortavel. Serviço excelente, funcionarios muito gentis e educados. Localizacao muito boa, o bairro eh excelente. Somente a internet wireless era paga nos quartos e nao pegava bem no meu quarto, sugiro escolher um quarto que tenha sinal melhor.

La atencion fue excelente, me sentí como en casa. Me gustó todo a excepcion de la piscina que me dio la impresión que estaba un poco descuidada pero nada crítico, solo es cuestion de ponerle un poco más de atención.

La atención del personal de recpción y concierge fue muy buena, fueron muy cordiales y colaboradores Las habitaciones requieren de mayor mantenimeinto y control de limpieza, hubo varios días que solamente extendieron las sábanas y no tendieron las camas.

Very nice and clean hotel and we had a very interesting discount price for it. We were woken up at 6 am to be told that there was a fire drill which did not concern us and then again at 7 to tell us that it was over. It was extremely displeasing since we had a very long journey ahead of us and had to wake up at 7.30!
