Score from 451 reviews Excellent
Large, clean rooms Great pool area and fire pit
No food service in late evening
The pool was very nice.
There was a building being built right next door. (part of the property) I looked so forward to this stay for so long and I was so disappointed when I saw where are room was located.
The villa and surrounding facilities were excellent. Nicely furnished, everything was there. Pool was great spa was great.
Food from restaurant was average and very over priced. Parking at $15/day is a joke, the resort is on the very edge of Palm Desert, not downtown LA. Q Noise from construction everyday from 8 am to 6 pm was a little much at times. Be prepared for lots and lots of families and children.
The service was beyond anything I expected. Every single employee said hello and was eager to improve my stay. Overall, very accommodating. From the villas to the pool, and the bar/grille, I felt at home. I stayed during the week after summer ended (Sept) so my stay was quiet, as I hoped it would be. I will return to Westin
I only stayed two nights. Next time, a whole week.
Everything was great, value was amazing
I can't complain about anything.
Very functional apartment with good facilities but not especially attractive architecture. Good value for money and kitchen facilities gave us a welcome chance for self-catering.
most of the clientele were staying as part of the special packages to market the timeshare or real estate. Few appeared to be 4* holiday-makers. I really do not like people who are drinking alcohol all day and taking their beer cans and drinks into the pool with them. By late afternoon some were totally drunk. not appropriate in a family environment.
great water slide, pools and rooms.
noisy air conditioning units on roof
No convenient restrooms near pool Not enough variety at restaurant. Needs more eating establishments. Room. Darkness and Layout of rooms not appealing
The pools and the staff
No wireless wifi. And the menu was kinda bland at there restuarant
Clean Large, comfortable room
Parking charges Relatively remote location; nothing nearby
Full kitchen, laundry. Once we checked out promptly at 10, they did offer us pool passes for the day on departure day.
Late check in. We got there @ 1:30 and were told the room wasn't ready until 4:00. They said they would call us when it was ready, but they never did. We ended up going back around 3:45 and it was ready.
Very nice room.
Desert Willows is an excellent place to stay while visiting Palm Springs. Great location and plenty to do at facility. It is a home away from home. ..."LOVED IT"
Weather was great. Staff was freindly and very helpful. Pool hours were perfect and the villas were nice and roomy and perfect for a relaxing stay.
Patrick is worker at westin He's best worker and nice ,kind Anyway thanks so much Patrick
Love the location and golf course, staff is friendly and helpful.
The food is not up to par I would expect more from Westin. I rented 2 villa's two months in advance and the staff would not accommodate us as to location which was disappointing.
$15 a day for parking. I understand downtown areas are congested (NYC, LA, SF) but Palm desert?
There were children running down the hallways late at night
We love the mister area at the main pool so we can stay cool while we eat. Kids LOVE the water slide!!!
The check out time!!!
Very nice staff and swimming pool was awesome!
I thought $15/day parking fee was inappropriate because other resort in the area (i.e. Marriott) does not charge. Also, the villa was a bit small.
I loved how everything in the resort is very convenient and close to you whatever you are .,, I like the fact the it is not a huge gigantic resort
My son was less than 48inch tall so he could not ride the water slide
Pool, poolslide, house, comfort, restaurant! Friendly and helpfull staff
Very friendly, courteous and proactive staff. Nice villas, fun pools and activities for kids. The quick access via golf carts was great. The happy hour drink specials were delicious and the hotel is within easy access to other golf courses, living desert zoo, grocery stores, etc. Overall we loved our stay.
only one restaurant option on site with resort pricing (to be expected). It would be great to see more pool side specials or food deals for kids.
It's an annual girls weekend away and I enjoyed every minute of our stay.
It's gorgeous and spacious.
No mini bar. A big problem is that I paid for suites that were advertised as having two queen beds. Failing to locate a second bed in either suite, I called the desk and was told that the pull out couch was considered my second queen bed! That's a no-no! The suite was very roomy and upscale, but if you advertise two queen beds....the price was great and the suite would be perfect for two adults plus a kid, but I paid for two rooms so everyone would have a real bed to sleep on, but someone had to sleep on a couch. Not okay.
