One of the attendants that was prejudiced.
Helpful friendly staff Comfortable beds Nice size room Elevator always available
extra charge for internet
I thought the from was small Bed faced the bathroom Totally forgot to put cotton balls etc in the bathroom. No free wireless.
Staff was helpful about giving directions. After eating breakfast once in the restaurant, the staff greeted us each day and remembered our food and drink preferences. Room was very comfortable. Room service food was very good
Parking. Outrageously expensive parking. Would have been cheaper to park elsewhere and walk back to the hotel.
quite everything was really good.
An elderly sir at the reception really had no idea what he was doing. It was busy, so he helped but I had actually whished not to be helped by him. After I was told several times that my credit card was declined (which was rather embarrassing in front of many other guests) I told him that that is not possible and indeed my card just worked fine - he had no clue. So ...
Very clean and comfortable. Classic traditional, classy, DC feel.
Parking price was high.
Everything. ..and everyone was great!!!
The entire atmosphere -starting with the lobby fragrance, the decor, the cookies in the afternoon, the room decor, the helpful staff - it was all great!
The Staff are extremely professional. The room was bright and clean. The bed was heavenly. The bathroom was well-appointed. The room service was excellent.
Nothing. I had an excellent stay.
location to DuPont circle was great. they did upgrade our room because it was my husbands birthday.
we were expecting more since it was listed as a luxury hotel. When we walked in, they only had one person working the check in counter and the line was pretty long. we waited a while to be taken care of. the only service they offered was valet parking and someone at the front door to open it as you walked through it. we went to the bar one night (a Saturday) and the bar was empty. The bartender wasn't very happy to be there because music wasn't working in the hotel which she said made her night very long and boing. Because it was listed as a luxury hotel, drinks were extremely expensive. We still had a few because it was in our hotel. we were the only ones there and it was about 7:00ish. we left and went to another bar at another hotel that was WAY more exciting. We had comp tickets for breakfast and thank goodness because breakfast was extremely expensive.25$ a person for eggs, bacon, sausage, bread and cereal. all in all, the hotel is just average. I have stayed at better hotels in DC.
Very poor wait staff. Long wait, expensive and no service. Much confusion over newspaper delivery. Front desk canceled our room keys because they thought we were checking out two days before we were. The room was not cleaned and the bed made until after 4:30 PM. Overall a nice hotel which is poorly managed. You are paying too much for the location.
Spacious room Comfortable bed Well-appointed Recently renovated Good location
Not the cheapest - but competitive for the Dupont area.
I left and my charger behind . Called and Julie one of the front desk managers sent it back and was very gracious about it. The rooms are spacious, nicely appointed, great breakfast service, great customer service. Awesome location, quiet and understated elegance
Carpets are old and stained, need revamping. Lobby needs some refurbishing too. The cleaning on the corridors start too early.
Everything was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the location was perfect.
The elevators and hallways were quite warm.
DuPont Circle excellent location -metro and lots of good restaurants close by. Short walk to hoping hop off bus.
The friendliness of staff, the room , the lounge and the cookies in the lobby were a nice touch.
every thing was great. We had a wonderful experience.
air conditioning was very noisy and duvets too heavy
Very well decorated hotel. The room was also well decorated, with very nice furniture and with nice little extras. The bathroom had one of the best showers we found during our holidays.
There was free internet in the lobby, but the internet in the room was extremely expensive. It was a bit weird because the lobby (that had only 3 or 4 seats) was always full of people accessing internet. The room wasn’t soundproof. We could here all the noise in the hotel corridor.
Location Value for money Cleanliness Classic design Comfortable bed Service
Only free wifi in the lobby (ridiculously old fashioned - I would sooner have free wifi than a TV in my room).
Someone in the next block was playing loud music which was a disturbance.
I'd say everything was perfect excluding parking.
The price was good. And the building was very beautiful.
The breakfast was expensive. And the sheets was dirty with some blood.
many tv stations did not work
Great Dupont Circle neighborhood. Considerate and helpful hotel staff. Elegant, old-school decor.
Check in mix up sent me into a room that was already occupied. Breakfast service a bit inattentive.
