Right in the middle of Downtown , close to restaurants, bars shop, all walking distance. Great looking hotel, if you are looking to impress, this is it!!!

Location, location, location

No parking! Had to pay for Internet! Freezing pool! Dangerously slippery tile! Bathroom didnt lock I was very disappointed.

The accomodations were clean & comfortable and location was good.

We booked through booking.com. On 5:30 the night of my husband's arrival, I received a call at home advising there was a problem with the hotel reservation system with booking.com and unfortunately there were no rooms available . He was on a 5 hr flight on his way there . As my husband was in the air enroute, I voiced my dissatisfaction and inability to contact him as he was on the plane. The woman I spoke to advised she would have to check into this further. She called me back within 30 minutes and advised amazingly they "found" a room. Luckily it worked out but I feel it caused me a lot of undue stress and had I not been so vocal on my disatisfaction, we would never have gotten a room there. Very disappointing.

The Gaslamp Q was a lovely place to stay. All bad marks are for the Horton Plaza Westin which gives your line a bad name and worse image. Having been in the Hospitality business I can assure you you need a staff meeting on comunication and repeat business.

We were treated badly. Shena the clerk was professional but the manager was full of herself and difficult to converse with. I had been given unclear information and was unable to resolve my issues. We still stayed at a westin but not the one next to the Horton Plaza. The Gas lamp Gets straight A's

I really loved the location of the hotel. It was elegant inside and I would recommend staying there to any of my friends and family. I have no dislikes about the hotel at all. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times.

Very close to shops and restaurants. Easy access to many sites around San Diego

The staff was incredibly rude. They appeared to act as if my friends and I were nuances while we were checking in and throughout the weekend. They placed us in the wrong room and offered no apology. When we got to our half the lights didn't work, when I went down to mention it they were rude again and never fixed the problem or offered us a different room. House keeping never sent up the extra towels that we asked for when I called again they were annoyed with me. All and all I would not recommend staying here ever again. I have been to San Diego plenty of times and have stayed at other hotels this is the 1st one I have encountered such awful problems

Great location within walking distance to Gaslamp Quarter. Felt safe walking to & from hotel at night. Room comfortable and had a good view of the bay. Room on 12 th floor.

Breakfast was quite expensive. 42 dollars for a buffet for 2. Little cafe a few steps from hotel did a great breakfast for half that. Also no free wifi in rooms. Free in lobby.

The over all set up and location of the hotel was great. The front desk staff where very friendly. Katherine at the concierge desk was so very helpful and is the reason that I will be coming back. Katherine help set up reservations at Miner A's restaurant and assisted with all my questions I needed. +A for her help.. However there is a young lady working at your bar. She had dirty blonde hair. She was not very friendly...

Would like to see more channels for the tv. Sports..

Good San Diego location. walked to PETCO field and watched baseball game. Fun! Good happy hour choices in bar.

Wi-Fi was not free. They charge $10/day in rooms. TV channels were limited and not labeled. Limited restaurant service and choices in hotel.

Love spending time in Sand Diego in the summer. The Westin is in a great location, close to the great restaurants in the Gaslamp.

The hotel is superb I liked everything about it. Ludi at the reception is lovely she sent us a complimentary champagne as our cc didn't work and we had to pay in cash ! The hotel has nothing wrong in the spa's bathroom u'll find everything u need if ur a female or male from tampons to shaving foams !!!! Go ahead and book the location is near to everything ... Shopping, bay, bars, restaurant...

Good quality at good price.

Wireless not free. Hotel parking too much expensive, but there is a ace Parking on the 1st street (50 meters far away from the hotel), which is agreed with the hotel and it costs 10 $ per day.

Centrally located. Large, elegantly appointed rooms. Comfortable beds. Highly efficient and helpful staff. Very clean and stylish place at surprisingly low rates. Excellent security. Nice heated pool open from early morning till late evening.

No airport shuttle service and wifi was not free, but these are very minor points in view of the low cost. (Taxi to airport was $15, including tip).

I love the diversity of the Gaslamp - the great food options and of course the shopping and the people watching. Wonderful experience.

My gps wasn't up to par - but that's not the Gaslamp's fault.

The location and high end facility was awesome! Everyone there treated us with professionalism. Very clean and everything was up to date. Love the interior design!!!
