Location And service
Hearing the maids clean up in the morning
location pool clean
parking was expensive
beautiful facility and well kept.
When you ask for high level or better view they tell you your booking rate limited you You feel shame if you said that I booked through Booking .com
Great location with many good restaurants nearby.
Parking was too expensive. It should be included with hotel fee.
Customer service, location, clean, safe ...all of it!
TV channels mostly analog. Oriental lady at desk rude.
Service was fantastic! Very quick and considerate!
Rooms are a little outdated. Mainly the bathroom! The city turned off our wAter from 12am-5am, I guess there was a posting but concierge never gave any of us one. Then while working on it apparent the workers cut a pipe and we couldn't get wTer until almost 9am. With 4 women in the room getting back from gaslamp in the early am! It became a bit of a nightmare! The entire hotel was our so we couldn't even flush a toilet!
I loved the hotel and especially the location. My next trip will definitely be at a Westin
Lacation very close to good resto and bars
A/c did not work
Everything - location is perfect, excellent and very nice and professional staff. Highly reccommended both for leisure and work
Tyler is the greatest valet in SD! Rooms were clean and personnel were professional and very respectful.
Parking is a bit pricey.
Pool and spa area was well set out. You don't need to walk through the lobby with your swimmers on to get to.
No free wifi in room. Free in the lobby however. These hotels need to realise that it is 2014.
Close to everything.
Parking outrageous fees! Charging for internet when you are a Atarwood Preffered Guest member.
• The Heavenly Bed • Amazing housekeeping staff • Great lobby and staff
• It's either $40 Valet Parking through the hotel or $20 overnight parking nearby with limited access • Expensive WiFi in rooms ($12 or $18 a night depending on speed)
Staff were all very helpful and friendly, particularly concierge service. Location is great, plenty of good and varied restaurants, bars and music venues.
Pool smaller than expected
Professional staff. Immaculately clean room.
The excessive amount you had to park your car as a guest.
One of the Managers fixed my stake problem.
Some of the staff were somewhat rude. Some one hung up on me while I was asking a question.
The beds and bedding were divine!
The pool area could use umbrellas- it has intense afternoon sun with not a lot of shaded area.
Staff very helpful Location great
Could have received more information about other areas in San Diego to visit - north park, mission beach.
They did one thing right... the best part of the Westin is your arrival and departure. The valet staff were top notch. Friendly, helpful and you wish they were working elsewhere in the hotel. Beautiful location and property, just wasted.
Despite requesting an early check-in, our room wasn't ready; probably because they gave a late check-out to the people occupying our room. So we settled for a lesser room (went from King to 2 Double Beds). They only had one robe, which seems silly when there are two beds. Mini bar - not happening. Refrigerator, yes, but who wants to bring stuff back to their room when traveling. A hybrid of mini bar and refrigerator would be great to accommodate those that do, but also overcharge those who would like a cold beer upon entering their room. The shower head is awful too. The rain shower head isn't so great if you are short and are trying to avoid having to get your hair wet. The other panel option doesn't do the trick & let's be honest... those shower caps don't stay on. Also, isn't it time all SPG properties revisit the soaps and lotions they provide. They have to be the harshest things on your skin. The lotion doesn't moisturize to help replenish the stripping of your skin's natural oils by using the soap they provide. Overall, if you can't get into something better, this is a good back up. But $300/night isn't worth it.
Location was great..
nothing really was something to complain..
